It's definitely a very nice restaurant with a wonderful view of Lake Garda. The staff was friendly and helpful. Opinions were divided on the food. The lasagna was delicious, and the salad, as described, was large, but you have to remember that in Italy, salads are mostly served with olive oil, which may not be to everyone's taste. 😉 The seafood pasta was decent, but the spaghetti carnonara was very salty. Nevertheless, we recommend it. 😋 It's worth trying for yourself, because ultimately, it all depends on your palate.

There were six of us. Outside they only had pizzas, but inside they seemed to have other things too. Some of us wanted pasta, others pizzas! We opted for outside. The pan pizzas were like thick bread with toppings – we'd never had them before and wouldn't order them again. The drinks were good and reasonably priced!

Great pasta & seafood meals in a stunning scenery. I had seafood bigoli and they were delicious! Service was good, food came very quickly. I'll def come back.

04/05/2026: I found Caffè del Porto to have excellent food, carefully crafted dishes using quality ingredients, all accompanied by a relaxing atmosphere and a view that makes the experience even more enjoyable. The service is also a plus: friendly, cheerful, and always attentive. If you're passing through Gardone, it's one of those places worth stopping in. Highly recommended.
02/05/2026: A great stop at Caffè del Porto! We sat with a breathtaking view of the lake, the staff was extremely kind and attentive, and the food was excellent. Highly recommended for a break during a trip or a walk by the lake.

17/05/2026: Satisfaction is the right word to describe this dinner. What can I say? Everything was delicious and of excellent quality. The cooking is just how I like it: home-style and home-cooked. You can taste the care and attention that went into the preparation. The cabbage rolls were truly superb. The selection of cured meats, from the first to the last, was truly exquisite. The first and second courses, beyond their intense flavor, also revealed the time and care that went into making them. Excellent!!! I'll be back. Compliments also to the waiters, especially the gentleman who served us, because he was kind, quick, clean, attentive, and very friendly.
