09/08/2024: I was a guest of the Golden Eagle for just one night, personally I found in this place what I wanted most: the beauty of the lake and the tranquility to free the mind. First of all, all the staff are kind, thoughtful and attentive to the guest's needs. The hotel has 20 rooms so everything is on a human scale. I chose the lake view solution and it was a wonderful treat. Comfortable bed and two types of pillow. (At the moment there is carpet but some rooms have been modernised). The swimming pool is very well looked after with comfortable sunbeds and umbrellas where I spent pleasant moments. The highlight of the hotel is certainly the terrace where you can have breakfast, lunch or dinner with the Sirmione skyline in front. In the evening everything becomes a nativity scene with the lights that line the view of the lake. The cuisine was excellent for both lunch and dinner... they told me that the chef is from Puglia and yes!! Really good! For breakfast you can choose anything!!! Eggs cooked in all ways, sweet and savory for all tastes: cooked fruit and vegetables, fresh yoghurt or frozen yoghurt, multi-grain bread to be sliced ​​fresh or bread to toast, organic juices, organic jams but also pistachio creams, chocolate and custard! Cakes, tarts and pancakes, in short, isn't breakfast the main meal? Finally, I appreciated the interiors of the hotel, everything recalls Klimt, his colours, the golden age and his kiss. Finally, the hotel has a large free car park which is not a small thing, and a lockable bike area. I will definitely be back!

26/08/2024: Fuimos a cenar porque vimos que tenía mucho sitio para jugar los niños, nos encantó la comida, la atención del personal y el lugar muy agradable, cuando volvamos repetiremos seguro.

21/08/2024: Lekker gegeten! 3 antipasta gekozen om te delen met 5 . En daarna kwamen de pizza’s . Het was allemaal heel lekker . 1 sterretje minder omdat we toch lang moesten wachten voor ons drinken en eten. Verder waren ze wel vriendelijk

28/08/2024: Pizzeria restaurant overlooking Lake Garda. Prices are a little high but in line with those of the area which is expensive. The food is not very good but not as bad as it can be in a tourist trap. All in all positive experience.

06/08/2024: I had dinner in this restaurant, bigoli with lake fish sauce, lake fried fish, a slice of pineapple, water and a glass of wine, €46. Service with little empathy. Too bad that the extra virgin olive oil was of EU origin, rather than using the oil produced in the Garda area

25/07/2024: There are just unpleasant people. We wanted to enjoy the city and eat well, but our good mood was quickly dampened. Despite there being free tables, there was apparently no room for us. After we left, the next guests were immediately seated. When we asked why they were given a place, the employees didn't have much to say and ignored us. Eventually we realized the problem was our three-year-old daughter. Sad.

09/06/2024: Evening to forget.... For those who say that pizza is good, they have probably never really eaten a good pizza... Let's leave the first courses alone... Paccheri with frozen swordfish arrived lukewarm... Frozen spaghetti with clams arrived lukewarm.. Fried fish... uncleaned fish with bad taste, practically edible and forced to send it back whole... We asked for a bottle of wine and they put the wine bucket on a chair as the tables were too small.. Old bread... At the time of payment they absentmindedly forgot to remove the fried pork from the bill, I had to remind them so they later canceled it.. Moral of the story?? After paying €98 for 4 we went to eat a sandwich with a cold beer...

15/08/2024: Bad experience: a room costing more than 200 euros to have an uncomfortable bed: mattress that sinks under your weight and is smaller than the box spring. The box spring is worn, stained on the sides. The furniture shows signs of wear, the lights are pale, there is no pressure in the shower and the fridge is stuck on minimum cold. The breakfast offers low quality products.

27/08/2024: We came in a group of three women. Good morning, the waitress asked if we had reservations because everything was booked. Then it turned out that there were free seats in the place and we could sit there. We ordered one pizza for three people (because we weren't hungry) and something else to drink. The waitress taking our orders rolled her eyes that there was only one pizza. Another waitress bringing our order almost threw it on the table without giving us our plates. You had to go and claim it yourself and ask for it. They treated us with disrespect, and to pay for the order we had to go to the cash register ourselves because no waitress responded to us. The pizza was very good but the service was terrible.
