12/05/2025: Disappointment: a Neapolitan illusion without substance On Sunday 11 May at dinner, I had a terrible gastronomic experience. Driven by a well-decorated environment, which deceives the customer into thinking they are in a real Neapolitan pizzeria, I expected at least to eat a pizza worthy of that name. Unfortunately it was quite the opposite. We order fried calamari rings and a margherita pizza with half filled with ricotta and ham (as per the menu). The place wasn't full, yet we waited over 40 minutes – other tables were complaining about the wait. When the pizza arrives, we are faced with a completely burnt half, uniformly black, with a sour tomato and poor cheese. The calamari rings? Made up of three tiny rings, the rest zeppolini and tentacles – ingredients not mentioned in the menu. Due to hunger we decide to try it anyway, but the pizza was inedible: bitter and burnt. We send it back, they promise to do it again. It arrives raw. At that point I understand that the evening is compromised. I politely point out the cooking problem to the boy at the checkout. He replies smugly: "It's just taste." I explain to him that tastes are subjective, but a black and bitter calzone is objectively wrong. He insists that he “eats it like this” and calmly goes back to watching the game on his phone! Telling me "what do you want we did it again". I understand that a bad evening can happen, but what is missing here is respect for the customer and for the gastronomic culture that it claims to represent. I deal with companies with significant turnover in France and Italy and I have always taught my collaborators that you can make mistakes, but never disrespect the customer. The place has potential, but it confirms itself as yet another tourist pizzeria in Sanremo: lots of Vesuvius and mandolin, zero substance and identity. Only marketing, without real Neapolitan cuisine. If the target is the distracted tourist, there is nothing to add. Otherwise, I hope this review reaches those who still want to improve.

30/05/2025: Servizio approssimative, prenotando avevo specificato che ero intollerante al pepe e peperoncino, hanno detto che non c’erano problemi, poi una volta seduto avevo a disposizione come scelta un solo secondo. Passando al servizio essere chiamato gioia della cameriera mai vista e conosciuta non è stata certo una esperienza, dolci senza anima prezzo caro date le premesse. I tavoli, nonostante si paghi il coperto, apparecchiati con tovagliette di carte e tovaglioli di carte, glagete di plastica sbeccata

15/02/2025: Ogni anno (da ormai diverso tempo) quando sono in vacanza in queste zone, è ormai una tappa fissa la cena in questo ristorante. Mi sono sempre trovato 'molti bene' in rapporta alla qualità /'prezzo, piatti di pesce squisiti e molto abbondanti ma sopratutto anche di qualità. Personale premuroso e molto attento sopratutto 'gentile', consigliatissimo!!

19/04/2025: Found by chance, it remains outside the classic tourist tour of the seafront promenade but the Tuscan restaurant is worth a detour. We had a fish-based lunch and it was all excellent. Very nice waiter. Not to be missed

24/05/2025: First time at this restaurant, and next time in San Remo, we'll gladly return. All the dishes were generous and very good. The tiramisu was excellent. A wonderful discovery. There were three of us, and it was perfect.

16/05/2025: Excellent dinner, 94 euros for two... but they could at least offer a limoncello: the Ligurians would need a collective trip to Greece to understand how to welcome tourists... maybe in the next century they will understand :-)

16/05/2025: Historic restaurant that we are fond of and that we have been frequenting for years in the places located in the square in a very beautiful and cheerful context especially on market days. Courtesy and good and abundant portions at least for the first and second courses based on fish that we usually choose. A suggestion to improve the mixed fried food, the squid are often hard and the bathroom area inside.

12/05/2025: We came across Solentiname walking from our hotel to town on the railway path. The seafood was excellent as was my steak tartare, the service was charming and efficient, there was a pleasant buzz about the place.

09/05/2025: We ate with friends in this splendid outdoor area on the beaches, excellent environment and above all excellent quality for money, kind and friendly staff who were able to advise us very well, highly recommended restaurant with excellent pizza

08/05/2025: Great restaurant on the village square, a small menu of excellent homemade dishes! Very pleasant service, in French if you wish! I highly recommend a very nice address.

01/05/2025: May 1st Labor Day, we stopped around closing time... despite this the owners welcomed us with kindness, friendliness and helpfulness (for this reason alone they deserve the 5 stars). We ate an excellent platter of cured meats and cheeses, powerful and "crispy" asparagus, delicious! Thank you so much, your place is really TOP 🥰

07/04/2025: This is the third time we've been back, it's a place that I would define as from another era, in the sense that you can find the hospitality of the old taverns. The food is excellent (yesterday we ate Vicenza-style cod which I would describe as sublime) and the choice of wines is excellent. The place is run by a wife and husband, who handle everything from food preparation to service. If you're not in a hurry, stop here and let yourself be pampered by the two owners, and take the time to have a chat - that's the plus this place gives you. Another piece of advice is to book, as they are family run and the managers are able to accommodate a small number of people so as to avoid unnecessary criticism.

11/03/2025: Very simple restaurant, but tasteful. Mastered cuisine, beautiful dishes and excellent products. Perfect egg spaghetti and sea urchin tongues. A lovely service with no “frills”. You have to go there.
