13/01/2026: One of the best restaurants I've ever been to!

06/01/2026: I'm only giving one star to the service, especially the welcome, given that the restaurant was "almost empty" at 7:30 PM and they said they were fully booked. Okay, maybe they were fully booked, but was it an effort to find a table for two for a quick dinner? I can assure you, they've done it in other places.

23/02/2026: Even though it was low season (February), we were very satisfied with the culinary experience (dinner is an understatement). The atmosphere, with a heated veranda overlooking the seafront, is both elegant and youthful. The staff is attentive and friendly. The dishes we ordered were excellent (octopus Luciana-style, scialatielli with Sanremo prawns, and the catch of the day), all with unique pairings. The wine list is extensive. The final price may seem high at first, but comparing the price with other restaurants in the area, we believe it offers excellent value.

04/01/2026: Very good dishes (especially the starters) and impeccable service. We had a small issue with the table, which they resolved promptly and kindly. We'll definitely be back.

06/01/2026: Ideal for a relaxing lunch, basking in the sun with a distant sea view. Tender, well-cooked grilled meat... melt-in-the-mouth. Superb ribs and delicious rostelle. The bucket is also cute, but I'd use yellow paper towels or a piece of parchment paper inside to keep them warmer and away from the sides of the bucket. Homemade desserts and lots of fun. See you again 😁

13/12/2025: A small, intimate place that served us an excellent dinner. Having eaten the ravioli we saw being made that morning was a plus: the dough was incredibly thin, practically transparent, superb. The hospitality and friendliness of the staff who pampered us was another plus.

03/01/2026: A very negative experience. I was greeted unpleasantly by the owner, who spoke rudely to me upon arrival, saying "he wants this," just inches away from me as I was simply looking for someone to talk to about finding our table. I was then loudly scolded, in front of everyone, with the people at the tables watching us, for an alleged delay, despite having notified us 45 minutes in advance and having herself told us there were no problems. The place was clearly overcrowded, with too many tables and the adjacent ones too close together. We ordered quickly to free up our table, but still waited over half an hour for two pizzas. I spent almost €50 for two pizzas and two drinks, for truly terrible treatment. The pizzas weren't bad, but I would never return.

31/12/2025: We had dinner on December 28, 2025. The place was below street level, with tons of tables all packed together, and the ceiling was low. It was incredibly hot and stuffy, and the place was incredibly chaotic. I couldn't wait to leave. The bathrooms were filthy.

06/01/2026: An extraordinary restaurant where we dined two evenings, including New Year's Eve. We discovered a succulent lamb with artichokes, so delicious you'd lick your fingers! A restaurant not to be missed if you're visiting the Roya Valley. Book in advance.

08/02/2026: Exceptional cuisine and elegant service in a small restaurant at the entrance to the old town overlooking the new port. It's a trendy and busy place. I think booking in advance is essential.

06/01/2026: A truly fantastic experience at Ü Funtanin! The staff was wonderful, and the food was incredible. Special mention goes to the risotto alle zucche with the tuna tartare—amazing! There are few vegetarian options, but the staff is happy to adapt dishes accordingly. A huge thank you!

30/12/2025: I stumbled upon this place by chance during a family outing. A simple but welcoming family-run restaurant. Typical, unpretentious dishes: here, it's the substance that counts, not the appearance. We had lunch as if we were at a friend's house.

03/01/2026: The place is nice, located in the center of Dolceacqua, a few steps from the parking lots. The pizzas are decent. The pizza pazza was undercooked, while the Ligurian pizza was good. The desserts were average. The prices are fair.

02/11/2025: Every time I'm in Arma, I stop by this restaurant, and I can't help but compliment them. The tagliolini with squid and olives, slightly spicy, really inviting, truly delicious. The meringue with exceptional dark chocolate cream. You can also try the gnocchi with Castelmagno cheese and the tagliolini with black or white truffle, and, in this season, fried porcini mushrooms. A must-try; naturally, the prices are in line with the quality and quantity of the food.
