05/04/2024: On Saturday we were guests of this Osteria... what can I say, a terrible experience. Let's start with the choice of wine: the unprepared waiter didn't know 1 label on the menu. With food it's no better:
Brandacujun appetizers where the stockfish did not arrive, the heated and burnt farinata with a bitter and unpleasant taste
First courses: Borage ravioli overcooked, tasteless and tasteless
Spaghetti with clams with clams full of sand...inedible
We left without eating despite paying a high bill
24/03/2024: We were in this tavern last night for the first time.. What can I say, a wonderful discovery.. Excellent food, intimate place, well kept and clean, excellent service.. The dishes are delicious.. Excellent value for money..

24/09/2023: Amazing place, we stayed in Santa Margherita The Imperial, which is less congested than Portofino. We took a water taxi and then took the hotel shuttle up to Hotel La Splendido.
The whole experience is 5 star plus.
Food and wine was excellent.
18/09/2023: We return to Italy every year and always include lunch at La Terrazza. We’ve stayed at the hotel twice. Always a spectacular experience…until this visit. We brought a dear friend because we wanted her to have a great experience, too. Our lunch was mediocre at best. My risotto was undercooked and the octopus was tough and tasteless. Our guest was unimpressed. As usual the presentation was beautiful but the taste was lacking. The waitstaff were attentive at first and then became busy and distracted. A woman at a nearby table had to be disciplined by the staff for moving around the restaurant loudly talking/videoing with a friend. Our €350 (for 3) lunch was very disappointing. Maybe next year…

07/04/2024: If you are near the the train station this is a solid spot to visit. The food is good, the service is decent and they had a good amount of seating and space. Get the Flatbread pizza... it was remarkable (pictured), I wouldn't be getting the Ravioli again but it was very decent. It's a little pricier than it should be but the food is worth it. Good spot to enjoy a meal close to the train station.
06/04/2024: Lunch today with family, very warm welcome. Pizza for my son and my wife and seafood pasta for me. The dishes were excellent, I would have liked a larger portion for me because it was so good... the pizzas are generous and I was able to taste my son's pizza, excellent too... I highly recommend it. closed and we will return there during our next visit to Ventimiglia...

Generous and excellent cuisine.
One meter pizzas are delicious
The staff is available and even if they speak French, compatriots make an effort to politely express themselves in Italian

Delicious pizzas, excellent charcuterie platter, very good cocktails, what more could you ask for during a sunny weekend in Italy? Next time I will come with a great team, their Pizza by the meter is magnificent!

31/03/2024: The website and the promise by phone conversation was not the same with the reality. Was very disappointed.
We did sit inside as the weather was not the best. I can imagine whe the weather allows the view is very nice and do attract people.
The service was OK, but the the food...
They are trying to be a or giving the image of fish 🐟 restaurant with little bit extra...but it is not working.
Quite small portions, and the food is definitely not worth the money.
The risotto was limit overcooked and the the tuna tartar on to you could count the few pieces in one hand.
The tiramisu and the cheesecake was definitely one of the worst / tasteless we have been trying... Just tasting cream!!!
Not kid friendly manu, they don't have one. My son choosed from the normal manu and he is use to it so...
He choose Mixed Fish, I thought as it is a fish restaurant should be no problems. The squid 🐙 was so elastic and limit chewing gum. The rest was OK.
Have to say that the coffee ☕️ amd the bil for what we experienced was very good.
Overpriced for what you get for what you pay.
To sum up, definitely not going back.

28/01/2024: Very nice place, very welcoming environment and staff.
Selection of wines that are nothing short of excellent, it is clear that they have great experience.
They also added the kitchen and we had aubergine parmigiana and gnocchi, both delicious.
Average prices.
I absolutely recommend

L'accueil est très sympa et chaleureux.
Je recommande vivement cet endroit typique simple mais EXTRA 👍👍
10/02/2024: On est parti en famille, avec des enfants, sans réservation, l'accueil est chaleureux, le personnel super sympa, ni moi ni mon mari ne parlons Italien, mais le personnel était très réactif.
Le dîner était très bon, un vrais régal, les plats un peux copieux à mon goût, mais délicieux.
Certainement à refaire !!!
