18/08/2026: Terrible experience The only positive note was that they accepted our dog (a very well-behaved golden retriever) without a fuss. We ordered three pizzas, two margheritas and one capricciosa. All three were raw...or rather, cooked; the bottom was almost burnt, and between the base and the top there was a finger of raw dough. We were hungry and only ate the toppings and part of the crust. The pizza chef must be a novice, because there's no such thing as a capricciosa pizza with mushrooms in oil, cooked ham, and especially without a hard-boiled egg....if you come to Rome, I'll make sure you get a proper pizza! The guy who served us almost seemed like he was doing us a favor. I'm not criticizing the price because it was more than fair for three pizzas, a beer, and a water. I'm just sorry I found a pizzeria like that.

08/08/2026: A historic pizzeria in Bordighera, after a period of closure, the pizzeria has reopened its doors with limited management to maintain its artisanal quality without the stress. We ordered Vincenzino's pizza (heavy on tomato, garlic, oregano, basil, and Taggiasca olives), but unfortunately it was too salty. Wait times: decidedly long, as is tradition. Does not accept reservations.

02/05/2026: We received a very warm welcome on a terrace overlooking the sea and the old village of Bordighera. Excellent Italian cuisine with impeccable service. Good value for money. A must-try on your next trip.

14/08/2026: We went for breakfast and a snack: spectacular views overlooking the sea near the little church of Sant'Ampelio. Generous brioches filled with Nutella and jam, friendly and attentive service with glasses of water to accompany cappuccinos and biscuits, clean bathrooms: nothing better to start a beautiful day in Bordighera. The violet ice cream is unique.

13/08/2026: Very bad experience at La Réserve in Bordighera. We came today as 6 people, with a 4-year-old daughter, and frankly, the reception was really bad. We waited about 15 minutes at the entrance, in full heat, without anyone coming to see us. However, several servers and managers walked past us several times, without saying hello, without looking at us and without even asking us what we wanted. We clearly felt like we were being ignored. After 15 minutes of waiting, we had to go and ask ourselves if we could have a table. We were simply told: “No, it is not possible. » No apology for the wait, no explanation, nothing. We can completely understand that a restaurant is full or that there is no room for 6 people. But letting customers wait 15 minutes without even saying hello, especially with a 4-year-old child in the heat, is not normal. It was enough to simply come to see us from the start and tell us that there was no room. It would have taken 30 seconds. We found the reception very cold, very rude and not at all professional.
