29/03/2025: In a side street of Chiavari is this villa with garden. You enter through a wooden door that takes you back to times gone by. In the heart of the city, you are welcomed into the home, by the owners, where, in a quiet environment, you begin a culinary journey full of flavors and successful combinations. The menu is fixed, being a fish tourism, the dishes follow one another with the right cadence, letting you taste the flavors. You feel at home, in tranquility. Everything is made by the owner, from pasta to bread to desserts. Just the right portions. It's a shame to get up and leave, after dinner you would want to sit back in an armchair and relax. 25/05/2025: Always been their customer, last night both me and many tables noticed excessive salt in the pizzas, too bad! And the pizzas are increasingly smaller, the dough is wonderful but unfortunately you leave very hungry and very thirsty. Too bad, I was really sorry.

27/05/2025: A place a little hidden from most but known by many. The first time at Ostaietta is unforgettable: good service and excellent dishes. Very good and rich appetizers, and a fish carbonara that I can't even tell you about. We couldn't order dessert because there wasn't even room for a pin! The only precaution is to book, at least a month and a half in advance (and I'm not surprised why!). Recommended :)

25/05/2025: Thursday evening we tried a quick reservation ... usually you need to book at least a month in advance ... stroke of luck a last minute cancellation hurrah ... Wonderful trio of tartare, Ligurian-style catch of the day spectacular ... delicious ravioli ... bulk white wine from the Bosoni winery ... pistachio tiramisu ... perfect service, family atmosphere ... absolutely worth trying 👍🏻

06/04/2025: The food and the cellar are excellent, I have been going to the place for years and I have always been very satisfied. The place is a bit small, it has no view, but it is very welcoming and well arranged. It's worth squeezing in a little to eat so well!

24/05/2025: Excellent homemade cuisine and attentive service, everything from starters to first meal, second meal, bread and dessert was perfect, well prepared and simply delicious, especially the seafood lasagna! I have personally congratulated the owner and the staff, I will be back when in town. Keep it up!

21/05/2025: The restaurant is a real discovery – the pesto is absolutely unique, the likes of which I have never had anywhere else, not even in Genoa! It is definitely worth trying. For dessert, I recommend the tiramisu – delicate, perfectly balanced and simply delicious.

18/05/2025: Expectations were quite high, but unfortunately the dinner did not live up to them. We waited more than an hour to eat a cold cut. We reported the lack of attention to the waiters who promptly served us the hot dish again. Too bad they only reheated the meat and did not recook a new piece of meat, which was therefore overcooked on the sides and still cold inside, in short inedible. All this to tell you that we were not offered any discount and so we paid €40 each to eat cold meat and, what's more, not of quality. Welcome to Genoa.

Nonostante abbia mangiato un menù completo di tutte le portate non ho avuto nessun problema di digestione. Da tenere presente x altre occasioni.
