07/02/2026: Intimate, welcoming, relaxing atmosphere, attentive but not intrusive service, professionalism, expertise, and kindness. Excellent food: balanced flavors, fresh ingredients: spaghetti with local scampi, rossetti fritters, oysters... soft, fragrant homemade bread. Excellent wines. Amazing desserts... excellent value: worth every penny!

30/12/2025: We chose to dine here, choosing among the various options in Chiavari, and we were very satisfied. The pasta was cooked to perfection (with scampi and rossetti), and the zuppa inglese was fantastic. The owners were very welcoming, and the prices were average.

01/03/2026: Very thin pizzas with a dough that tastes like a mix between a Frisbee and a dry piadina. We ordered a rustichella (speck and gorgonzola) and a diavola. The former was decent, the latter really nothing special, with almost no mozzarella. Friendly service, but the tables were very crowded, cramped, and not exactly spotless. Considering the atmosphere, they charge way too much. I wouldn't return. Rating: 6-/10

17/02/2026: There's little space between tables, but for an exceptional pizza like this, it's worth it: shallow, very shallow, and wide, topped "according to the seasons" with every goodness and with great professionalism... it's been my favorite pizzeria for a few years. Given the crowds, I recommend booking.

13/01/2026: The food was definitely not up to par for the price, the service could be greatly improved, and above all, you couldn't eat while worrying about the restaurant closing at 11 PM and rushing to leave; in fact, at the end of the meal, there wasn't even a chance to get a coffee because the machine was already turned off.

Well needed wine pairings make it be the One in an otherwise so poor restaurant panorama . A little treasure absolutely to be discovered!

05/02/2026: This summer I spent my vacation at "Domus Vittoria," a 19th-century vacation home in Sannicola (not far from Gallipoli), and the owner raved about the place. Since I was in Genoa, I took his advice and treated friends to the pizza: the crust was soft and fluffy, truly delicious. The atmosphere is welcoming, and the staff is very professional. I'll definitely be back.

21/12/2025: A very simple pizzeria located in the historic center of Genoa. Good pizza with a wide selection of pizzas and different types of dough, fast and efficient service. Great courtesy and patience. After having some problems with the reservation caused by us, we were greeted as if they had known us forever. The girl at the cash register, despite being pressured by unbearable customers who asked for separate bills based on what they consumed rather than the total, remained unperturbed. Absolutely fair prices. Recommended. We'll be back.

21/02/2026: Family-run and a strong desire to be in the right place. And so it is. A small and welcoming restaurant, just the right size to appreciate the quality. It has everything, and we'll definitely be back to try other dishes. Fair prices, courteous and attentive service. Must try.

19/02/2026: A family run Italian Michelangelo. It’s as if you’re walking into a cave made of original stone surrounded by bottles of wine from every region of the country. Wine knowledge is 10/10, service is top notch, and hand down the best carbonara pasta I have had in my entire life! Call me crazy but I love to pair carbonara with steak and their Castelmagno fillet is mouth watering. This is my recommendation. Please, if you’re passing through Genova, stop by for the carbonara.

09/03/2026: I had lunch there once; being a tourist, I relied on word of mouth, but the unpleasant surprise was the seafood carbonara with pecorino cheese?! I didn't tell the waiter, which was a shame. The appetizer was good, but the portions were a bit small.

03/10/2025: Last night, for my son's 18th birthday, we went to this restaurant... WOW! It was my first time there and I was so happy. The food was incredibly fresh and delicious; you could really taste the quality! But what struck me most was the attention they gave us. They were incredibly kind and accommodating to our every request. It's not just the food (which, I repeat, was top-notch!), but the entire experience, the atmosphere, and the care they put into it. Highly recommended!

22/02/2026: Warm welcome, courtesy, prompt service, a good variety of specialty doughs (kamut, but also charcoal and others), and a perfectly cooked pizza, made with quality ingredients, make this pizzeria a local gem. And by the way, my pizza was delicious!

14/02/2026: We were caught in a thunderstorm an hour before the show started. We took shelter under the veranda; a very kind waiter would have offered us shelter even without a drink. Two appetizers, a pizza, and desserts for the girls, delivered in record time, and with a smile! Friendly atmosphere, crayons, markers, and drawing pads available for the little ones... recommended even without the theater!!

As for the food—it is simply outstanding, full of rich flavors and perfectly executed. And the desserts are absolutely breathtaking, the perfect ending to an unforgettable meal. A must-visit spot for anyone who appreciates real Italian cuisine and heartfelt hospitality.

19/08/2025: A small restaurant along the Aurelia road, near the Sestri train station. Tasty food, especially seafood, and excellent minestrone soup. Moderate prices.

13/01/2026: On our second, completely unplanned visit, Le Cicale in Città has undeniably established itself as one of Genoa's top seafood destinations. We returned almost instinctively, and it was a rewarding choice: a simply exceptional amberjack tartare, impeccable in its quality of ingredients, balanced seasoning, and crisp flavor. A simple, elegant dish that speaks of the sea with great precision. This was followed by a second course of equally high-quality fish, cooked with expert technique and rare sensitivity, where every element was perfectly placed. A decisive added value was the service: attentive, competent, and never intrusive, capable of accompanying the experience without weighing it down. But above all, we must mention Chef Costa, who personally presented the dishes to us: a gesture that is anything but predictable, conveying passion, awareness of his work, and respect for the customer. When the chef puts his face—and his words—on what arrives on the table, the perceived quality grows even further. What's striking, when you return, is the continuity of excellence: not a one-off success, but a clear and consistent approach, rigorously maintained. A relaxed atmosphere, great attention to detail, and that rare feeling of being in exactly the right place. Le Cicale in Città isn't just an excellent restaurant: it's a sure thing. And when a place impresses even more on a second visit, especially an unplanned one, it's truly hit the mark. Highly recommended.

08/12/2025: I had already dined at this restaurant about a year and a half ago and was thrilled: carefully prepared dishes, balanced flavors, and an overall excellent experience. Unfortunately, my husband's birthday dinner turned out to be a huge disappointment. • Fritto misto: excessively greasy, difficult to enjoy. • Monkfish: so salty it was inedible, so much so that I had to send it back and receive an apology from the kitchen. • Fish soup: spectacularly presented in bread, but the contents were a blended cream without even a single piece of whole fish. • Scallops: served on a bed of cold broccoli, accompanied by unpleasant-tasting guanciale. A real shame, because I remembered this place as a benchmark for quality cuisine. This time, however, every dish fell short of expectations and ruined a special occasion.
