13/03/2026: We went there for lunch two days in a row because this restaurant is delicious. I highly recommend the focaccias, which are generously topped (the traditional one is incredible). The waitresses are very friendly and full of helpful advice. One of them even speaks French, which is a bonus.
It's a great place, and we'll definitely go back on our next trip!

The focaccia is made to order, and I highly recommend the Traditional one.
Fresh pasta and homemade desserts. It's a 5/5 for us.

It's overpriced considering there's no service.
03/01/2026: If you’re looking for a home cooked Ligurian meal where the owners take care of you from the minute you enter, this is your place. Food is delicious, service is impeccable and you better make a reservation because our dinner was great! There’s also a great wine store right next-door. Stopped there first for some tastings and great small gift ideas!

12/10/2025: Great food and friendly service. I visit Sestri several times a year, but this time I spent my vacation there with my wife. I'd never eaten here before, although I'd passed by many times, and this restaurant pleasantly surprised me. We stumbled upon it by chance. It was the first restaurant near the train station open so early, and we had to wait until 2:00 PM for the keys to our apartment. I hope to visit them again. I drive past it on my way to Fivizano or Lucca at work.
05/10/2025: Personally, the restaurant is truly excellent, both for its meat and seafood menus. The pizza is tasty and well-made, and the atmosphere is quiet and quaint. The staff is helpful and very friendly, making the service excellent.
I often come here to eat with friends, and it never disappoints.

19/12/2025: When we arrived, they sat us at a table in a rather dark corner. After an hour of waiting, the pizzas finally arrived. The photos show the appalling cooking conditions, as well as those of almost the entire table. I politely pointed this out to the staff, and they changed my order, albeit with rude manners and dirty looks. It's quite funny that my burnt pizza was offered to another table. The second pizza, though still undercooked, was edible, though not as good as some reviews had described. The rudeness of the staff (with the exception of one very polite and kind waitress) and the terrible service have convinced me not to return.

Every detail is taken care of, the authenticity of the local products is respected, but the flavor combinations are refined, interesting, and perfectly executed. The service is excellent, and the atmosphere is welcoming yet elegant.

Pane e pasta sono fatti in casa.
Servizio veloce e preciso
Davvero eccellenti i ravioli ripieni di pesce con pomodorini e scampetti. La spinta del limone si sente e rende il piatto fresco e bilanciato.
Buon rapporto qualità prezzo
25/04/2025: Pranzo del 25 aprile in famiglia. La tavola è ben apparecchiata, il personale sorride e consiglia. I piatti sono gustosi e leggeri,le porzioni generose. Valida lista dei vini.

15/03/2026: A typical restaurant that reflects Genoese tradition. It's a 10-minute walk from the old port and convenient to the historic center. The owner welcomed us and served us well; he also speaks excellent English. The food is excellent and they have a good wine selection. Recommended. I also recommend making a reservation.

I rarely visit the same place twice — I usually try to explore as many different spots as possible — but this cuisine made me break my own rule :)
28/12/2025: Trattoria with "homemade" cuisine. Tourist alert. The food was low quality for the price. Don't be fooled by the display; the fish wasn't as fresh as they would have you believe. All served with typical warm Genoese hospitality.
Update: We were sick during the night.

05/01/2026: We'd like to share our pleasant experience at lunch here today. We found the atmosphere comfortable and the staff very friendly, who made us feel at ease and explained the local dishes, which we found excellent, from the trio of anchovies appetizer (delicious) to the seafood spaghetti and the wonderful pandolce. We'll definitely be back!
