19/10/2025: Reservation: We called three times without receiving an answer. Luckily, they called us back and offered us dinner at either Seating 1 (7:30 PM) or Seating 2 (9:00 PM). We chose Seating 1 at 7:00 PM, and over the phone, we were told several times, rather annoyingly, "Please note, the table must be vacated at 9:00 PM sharp," and "Please inform your guests that the table must be vacated at 9:00 PM." Let's just say we didn't get off to the best start when making the reservation. Welcome: We arrived at 7:20 PM. The staff was outside smoking, and they didn't let us in until 7:30 PM sharp. That's no big deal. In the meantime, we read the menu and made up our minds about what to order. Ordering: The girl who came to take our order was very friendly and explained the various options. Service: The guy with the ponytail who brought the hot stone to cook the meat was quite rude: as soon as he arrived, he handed over the stone and warned us not to put oil on it due to the risk of flames/smoke, and so far so good. When I pointed out that the stone was quite black on the surface (in a completely calm and friendly manner), he immediately got annoyed, took the stone back, and went back to the kitchen, cursing things like "let's start the evening off right!" In amazement, we awaited his return with a new stone, and in a snobbish manner, he said, "Is this okay?!" I didn't think the guy's attitude was very nice; he could have handled his frustration differently. The other waitresses, however, were kind. Food: 5 people, we ordered: - Testaroli with oil and cheese - Hunter's menu - Panigacci with prosciutto, stracchino cheese, and vegetables - Baked fish with vegetables - Paccheri with fish sauce - Water Personally, I found the baked fish with vegetables good, perhaps a little too greasy, but overall okay. The panigacci were average, and the prosciutto was good. I can't comment on the other dishes because I didn't try them, but I think the taste of the food was negatively impacted by the service, as the atmosphere at the table was ruined by the waiter's rude attitude. Bill: The cashier was very kind, and we spent about €100, which I think was more or less fair for what we ate. Conclusion: The place has potential, but I don't think we'll return, considering the poor service experience and the rude way we were treated when booking. Sorry, but we're a no-go!
15/10/2025: A very welcoming restaurant in the center of Sarzana. The menu features fish and meat, and the first courses are very good; I struggle to pass up anything. The service is friendly and efficient, and the wait for your food is short. Prices are reasonable for the quality.

23/10/2025: Three of us ate there for lunch last Sunday. I congratulate the restaurant manager and his son, they are wonderful people. Beyond the delicious food and the reasonable price, we loved the honesty and genuineness of the staff. They're good people. And they're big Genoa fans!
16/10/2025: Went for lunch today with a colleague and Enrico's former classmate. Everything was delicious, including the anchovy and eggplant meatballs. We've been there before, always with excellent dishes. Definitely recommend.

11/10/2025: The pasta was a poem and priced just right: the trofie with pesto couldn't have been better; the amatriciana were a pleasant surprise with their spicy flavor. We found the main fish dishes okay, but unfortunately no swordfish or grilled sardines – so this was definitely a disappointment for us. We found the grilled vegetables rather modest, with insufficient quantity. The wine (sparkling wine) was to our liking. We found the service good, but not "exceptional." We felt very comfortable in the restaurant; it was chic, cozy, and bright without being garish.
04/10/2025: Update October 2025: Once again, a very good meal and great service. After the renovation, the ambiance is now also great 👍😀 Friendly, attentive service and delicious food. The bright light somewhat dampens the romance.

15/10/2025: Greed at the expense of service quality The restaurant is very famous, pseudo-elegant, and expensive, but people likely continue to frequent it for some reason related to the quality of the food. Unfortunately, the owner's desire to never lose a single customer and to always keep tables full with at least two seats per evening completely negates any positive aspects of the culinary quality, replacing them with total disorganization and a lack of respect for the customers. We had a reservation for four people at 9:30 PM and arrived promptly. When we arrived, the waiter asked us to be patient for about five minutes because they were "slightly struggling." We waited 15 minutes and noticed at least a dozen groups in the alley outside who, like us, had reservations but were still waiting for their tables. When we asked the waiter again how much longer we would have to stand, he replied, visibly out of breath, that it would be about another 15 minutes. This meant we'd start eating at 10:00 PM. We would have preferred to leave, but we decided to wait. Very calmly, every now and then someone from the small groups waiting managed to sit down. After the customary 15 minutes, it was 10:00 PM: none of us were still seated. Inside the restaurant, a few people were eating while 70% of the customers were waiting to be served. We waited another 20 minutes—arriving at 10:20 PM—without anyone leaving their tables. Many customers continued to wait for their dishes. At that point, we decided to leave at 10:30 PM, after an hour of pointless waiting. If a restaurant that claims to be elegant and high-end doesn't have the courage to inform customers that they must vacate their tables by a set time—which is in any case unbecoming of the style of a place of this kind—then it shouldn't accept any more reservations. To the owner, I say: since you're not worried about the risk of empty tables due to selfishness and greed, simply not accepting any more reservations would do your reputation much more credit. I'll conclude by reminding you that I used to frequent this restaurant about thirty years ago, but I stopped going because there were already unpleasant service issues back then that kept me away from there ever since.

19/09/2025: A restaurant that primarily serves uncooked meat, and three different cuts of meat (€100 each) come out cooked three different ways. For this reason alone, it's not worth a visit. The waiter, who, after spending €500 for five people, looks at his watch twice at 10:00 PM annoyed as he passes the table, is annoying. €18 worth of appetizers aren't very good, incredibly expensive, and of mediocre quality. The Tomahawk is borderline decent at €60/kg. No liqueurs are offered, and the staff is unhelpful.
16/09/2025: The place isn't exactly welcoming, with a rather cold atmosphere and tables positioned somewhat haphazardly. Black satin napkins don't improve either the aesthetics or the practicality! The main course is meat, just adequate, nothing particularly good. The price is excessively high for the quality and the location. Lots of smoke (even in the dining room) and not enough roast...

04/11/2025: Great experience! They don't have appetizers, just first and second courses. The portions are so generous that the waiters themselves recommend sharing the dishes. The quality of the food is truly top-notch! The wine list is also good. Expect to leave feeling full for around €35 ​​per person. Special mention for the friendliness of the staff. We'll definitely be back.

19/10/2025: A tourist restaurant, ideal for trying local dishes if you're a foreigner, a little less so if you're Italian. A little expensive compared to the average. The pesto pasta with potatoes and green beans was uninspired, and the walnut sauce in the pansotti didn't taste very walnut-y. The Piedmontese puddings were very good. Outside, we saw a menu that included appetizers, first courses, and second courses, as well as pizzas and focaccias. Once inside, we were given the menu without pizzas and focaccias. The pizzas and focaccias are from another restaurant, also owned by them and adjacent, but different... from the outside, it's hard to tell.

Over the course of four dinners, we had the opportunity to try several dishes from a menu that stands out for its quality and creativity. But let's take it one step at a time. The location is unparalleled: directly overlooking the sea, surrounded by cliffs, at the foot of a medieval village, nestled like a gem among maritime pines. The interior is elegant and meticulously maintained, yet welcoming. The bottles on display are stunning, with sophisticated and very stylish lighting. Excellent service: very courteous and professional staff, always attentive to the customer. A special thanks to the owner for her kindness, friendliness, and for the wonderful evenings in her enchanting restaurant. The menu: stellar. Beautiful dishes where excellent ingredients are enhanced with creative combinations in a play of contrasts that leaves you speechless. Careful research goes into the creation of these dishes, along with a lot of hard work, excellent technique, and endless passion. An impressive wine list, with a wide selection of wines from both Italian and international producers. Desserts: These deserve a separate review. Here, the chef's visionary madness and genius find their true expression. A world tour featuring sorbets, gelatos, and desserts paired with spirits, liqueurs, and fruit. I tried an incredible and counterintuitive dessert: Parmesan gelato with extra virgin olive oil and pepper. Simply amazing, hypnotic. Bill: reasonable for the quality of the dinner. Highly recommended. Missing out would be a missed opportunity to discover a corner of paradise.

07/11/2025: We went here for dinner, in the private room with a table overlooking the well. I had specifically booked because it's a very nice room and a really great idea for a special dinner. The location is very nice, but perhaps it could use a bit more attention given the €10 cover charge...the candle wax was stuck everywhere before we arrived. The food was average, nothing special, but the prices were still average. The staff was very friendly and helpful. All in all, it was a great experience considering the unique location.
04/11/2025: A beautiful little restaurant in the heart of Genoa's historic center. The location is extremely well-kept and welcoming. The food is of the highest quality, and the service is young and attentive. The quality/price ratio is more than fair!
