14/09/2025: I visited Da Mimmo restaurant in a narrow alley in Pietra Ligure with my family and had a wonderful time: excellent food (mixed antipasto with homemade marinade and high-quality fish soup), super friendly staff, and a traditional and charming location.
I would gladly return.

19/09/2025: A restaurant that primarily serves uncooked meat, and three different cuts of meat (€100 each) come out cooked three different ways. For this reason alone, it's not worth a visit. The waiter, who, after spending €500 for five people, looks at his watch twice at 10:00 PM annoyed as he passes the table, is annoying. €18 worth of appetizers aren't very good, incredibly expensive, and of mediocre quality. The Tomahawk is borderline decent at €60/kg. No liqueurs are offered, and the staff is unhelpful.
16/09/2025: The place isn't exactly welcoming, with a rather cold atmosphere and tables positioned somewhat haphazardly.
Black satin napkins don't improve either the aesthetics or the practicality! The main course is meat, just adequate, nothing particularly good.
The price is excessively high for the quality and the location.
Lots of smoke (even in the dining room) and not enough roast...

01/10/2025: Discovered this year attracted by the possibility of gluten-free pizza. Since I'm not celiac, but my partner is, we decided to try it. As a result, we went three times. We never ordered pizza. We ordered dishes from the menu and also dishes of the day. The only drawback of the place is finding parking (summer months).
23/09/2025: Amazing!!! The best gnocchi you can eat, soft, tasty and the sauce and cheeses amazing. No wait at all and the staff was perfect. The service is 5 stars. I recommend this place in Sanremo. Actually Sanremo has the best food in all places we visited in Italy this year :)

07/09/2025: Delightful authentic restaurant tucked away from the tourist strip, about a 5 minute walk from where the ferry lands (take the path going up the hill at the fork and follow it round to the right). Bookings needed at peak times, such as weekend lunchtimes. Full of locals - always a good sign - and good value for money.
06/09/2025: A magical place! Beneath an ancient limpid grove and right in front of the Abbey of San Fruttuoso.
I recommend the mandilli with pesto and the peaches with ice cream (I know it's not a specialty, but trust me and try them) 😍

20/07/2025: We had 2 nights in July 2025. Beautiful room, with fresco. Very authentic. Cozy garden.
The hostess was super sweet and welcoming, the sommelier was very knowledgeable and charming and the chef was brilliant.
We had their tasting menu the first night, wonderful food, everything was really delicious.
The second night we chose their vegetarian tasting menu and were blown away by a cold melon soup, it was fantastic.
My warmest recommendations for both accommodation and dinner.

05/07/2025: My mother has been their customer for a long time, but it was my first time and I must say that it is a first time that will not be forgotten. Excellent food with excellent quality raw materials. Excellent combinations, refined, you can see that there is real attention. The environment is intimate and elegant but does not create any kind of discomfort. Excellent service

26/09/2025: After a long day touring, we had to indulge in some delicious gelato and Baciollo did not disappoint! Maurizio was so friendly and helped us select some mouth-watering concoctions of frozen perfection. Right in the heart of Rapallo, it’s not too miss!

08/10/2025: Well I had pizza and it was very very good, spicy salami, sausage onions with a real light red sauce. Very good and crust was excellent. I would give it a 8.5 or 9 in Pizza Land. Jo Anne had the spinach ravioli with walnut sauce and it was super And a half liter of red wine was $6.50, that leverages out to about $1.25 a glass. You can't beat it. I would definitely come back here but unfortunately we're leaving tomorrow.

15/09/2025: It's truly a pleasure to review this restaurant, which we've been visiting for several months now.
Over the course of four dinners, we had the opportunity to try several dishes from a menu that stands out for its quality and creativity.
But let's take it one step at a time.
The location is unparalleled: directly overlooking the sea, surrounded by cliffs, at the foot of a medieval village, nestled like a gem among maritime pines.
The interior is elegant and meticulously maintained, yet welcoming. The bottles on display are stunning, with sophisticated and very stylish lighting.
Excellent service: very courteous and professional staff, always attentive to the customer.
A special thanks to the owner for her kindness, friendliness, and for the wonderful evenings in her enchanting restaurant.
The menu: stellar. Beautiful dishes where excellent ingredients are enhanced with creative combinations in a play of contrasts that leaves you speechless. Careful research goes into the creation of these dishes, along with a lot of hard work, excellent technique, and endless passion.
An impressive wine list, with a wide selection of wines from both Italian and international producers.
Desserts: These deserve a separate review. Here, the chef's visionary madness and genius find their true expression. A world tour featuring sorbets, gelatos, and desserts paired with spirits, liqueurs, and fruit.
I tried an incredible and counterintuitive dessert: Parmesan gelato with extra virgin olive oil and pepper. Simply amazing, hypnotic.
Bill: reasonable for the quality of the dinner.
Highly recommended. Missing out would be a missed opportunity to discover a corner of paradise.
14/09/2025: The oysters and raw ham were good, but then we ran to the bathroom. Luckily we were still nearby. Everyone went to the bathroom. EVERYONE went to the bathroom.
Terrible service, almost no one spoke Italian, and this isn't Monaco.
One of those classic cases where we want to be a trendy restaurant, but fail.

05/10/2025: We have been here twice, the first time with another couple and it was a pleasant dinner and the food was good. Tonight I ordered Tuna Tatake. When it arrived, it was cold, raw and had a torched sear, only on the edges of the chunk, a VERY light sear, no sesame seeds, and no soy sauce. Served this way, makes it not Tuna Tatake. The dish Tuna Tatake, is a hot seared, sliced piece of raw tuna, with the center cooked to rare, not raw. I told the waitress that i would like it taken back to be seared and she just argued that it was the way it is suppose to be. A few minutes later, the owner/chef came over and asked what the problem was. I told him that I asked for it to go back to be seared,as tuna tatake should be, he also just argued that it was served the way it should be. First of all, if a customer asks for more cooking time, it should be done without arguement. Instead I had to try to defend myself that if the dish is called Tuna Tatake it should be served like Tuna Tatake. He only said it is the way it is done it Italy. Never did either of them offer to reconcile the problem, to cook it more. That was the biggest issue. Talking down to a customer, arguing. I asked them to prepare it for me to take home, and I would cook it at home. I ended up leaving the restaurant, it was so unpleasant to be argued with, it was beyond frustrating. My sweet wife stayed, got her meal to go and when she went to pay he argued with her, angrily showing her the Google results of Tuna tatake and that it was served raw. The pictures show a pan sear and sesame seeds. She could have told him that his had no sesame, or soy, and that it actually says its served rare, not raw, but that was not the point. She told him the biggest problem was his attitude to her husband, that they just argued and didn't listen to the customer or try to help. The sad part is that he cared more about being right than what the customer needed. I hope he can read this with an open mind and humility. I am a trained chef and was just hoping to get my dish prepared the way I expected. I hope you can try to listen to the customer in the future, and try the dish prepared like tuna tarake, or change the description in the menu to represent how the dish is served. Best of luck to you and your nice establishment.
27/09/2025: Overall, good. Decent service, except for the online reservation. We booked two seats inside, but they seated us outside, and they didn't take into account the allergies we'd always listed on the website. The ingredients were good, without over-seasoning. The first course was good, with generous amounts of lobster. I expected the second course, the catch of the day, to be better cooked than the sea bream, which in this context raises expectations. The price was high, but in line with the dishes. In my opinion, the only thing that wasn't up to par was the quality/price ratio.

04/10/2025: Excellent place for il pranzo, Italian lunch. Friendly service serving business and local clientele. Daily chef specials nice selection of local dishes. For something authentic try the pasta plate “Pennette au Tucco di Genovese,” a local special type of beef tomato ragu. The restaurant interior in this building are fascinating. Great location in the Old Town.

13/09/2025: A good restaurant. They make their own pasta. Very tasty. The concept of the establishment is interesting: you can choose the pasta and choose the sauce (filling) for it. And, of course, you can choose nothing and order a ready-made dish. It's interesting.
I took tagliotelli carbonara. It seemed a bit dry to me. I would like more juiciness. But overall, very good. They also make homemade desserts. Delicious. And the portions are large.
I recommend!
12/09/2025: Great homemade pasta; we had Bolognese and Arrabiata sauces. The portions were really filling, even the salad. Excellent value for money. We'd be happy to go again.

02/10/2025: Very decent fish and seafood restaurant. We had two seafood pasta dishes (mixed and vongole), followed by swordfish fillet. A small downside: the clams were unfortunately sandy. The house wine is recommended, and the service is very friendly.

04/10/2025: In a typical Sarzana street, a welcoming place with brick vaults, you're greeted by a lady with a foreign accent, quick and efficient.
The bread basket was very good, with three varieties, as well as focaccia.
For wine, a half bottle of Chianti.
The round steak as an appetizer was excellent, as were the grilled fillet and the partially boned pigeon, both accompanied by vegetables and baked potatoes.
The meat was excellent and well-cooked.
