10/05/2025: The service is amazing and the food was really good. I’ve rarely been welcomed and served with such care and attention. The food was also really good, I’m not from Italy so I can’t say about authenticity, but the menu was a great mix between classics well executed. Will come back if I have the chance :)

31/05/2025: San Marco was a recommendation from our hotel staff and we enjoyed our meal. The restaurant is quite large with many rooms and extremely busy with wait staff running around from table to table. I ordered the Cacio e Pepe and enjoyed the flavors at first, the pasta is very starchy as the meal cools. My partner ordered the Spaghetti Aglio olio and said the dish had a bit of heat to it and very tasty. Overall, not a bad meal. On our way out, we noticed that the pizza looked amazing.

All the dishes that were served were wrong and he raised his voice towards us when we said we ordered something else. Besides, the food is also not good. I had a toast with salmon and the bread was super soggy.

05/06/2025: For me it is definitely a place where I feel at home. Knowledgeable and helpful staff. Neapolitan pizza that, according to a friend from Campania, manages to outclass its Neapolitan cousins. The place is nice and can accommodate large groups. My family dinners are usually completed by desserts that conquer the entire table. In short, to go there and return. Just remember that if you have booked with The Fork, the discount is recognized only if you pay via app.

12/04/2025: La Casetta a Monti is a small piece of medieval history inserted in the historic center of Rome, Rione I (Monti) in Via della Madonna dei Monti, not far from the iconic Colosseum. This review delves into the historical aspect of the place, rather than the activity that currently takes place there. This ancient house (I also saw it in a drawing from 1759), which survived demolitions and various urban transformations, is very evocative due to its peculiarity, a silent witness to a bygone era. It is characterized by two peculiarities that are very rare in the city, the first is that it is located in the middle of the street almost a challenge to modern architectural conventions, the second is that its façade is completely covered by a blanket of ivy, except for the two entrances on the ground floor and the two windows on the first floor, all of which gives it an almost fairy-tale appearance. For several years it has become a small bistro where you find yourself in an intimate and welcoming environment, sought after by those who love sweets and therefore a good breakfast, but also a lunch or a cocktail. 04/02/2025: This little restaurant/tavern is a real discovery. I went to lunch with some friends. The service is quick and the staff is very friendly and polite. The photos show some ordered dishes. The wine selection is interesting, with labels that go perfectly with the dishes. An overall great experience, I will definitely be back soon!!!

05/03/2025: Don't be discouraged by the 3 ramps you have to climb to reach the property. You park underneath, go up the aforementioned ramps and find yourself in a magical courtyard with a splendid view of Subiaco and where you can also eat in the summer. The internal restaurant room is very large and vintage, embellished with fine marble and classic furnishings. Typical and tasty dishes on the menu. The owner is very helpful and kind. Highly recommended!

09/02/2025: Beautiful location....dated, which maintains the atmosphere and the historical charm of the structure. Beautiful location with a view, both for the restaurant and for the room. Excellent dinner for adults and children (we were 2 adults and 2 children), overnight stay in the room and excellent and abundant breakfast. Home atmosphere from the owner Fabrizio. Recommended even just for a pleasant tasty stop.

24/05/2025: A place known by pure chance, but it was a very pleasant discovery. The welcoming and nicely furnished environment, entire room, veranda and in the summer also outside. The service bordering on impeccable, courteous, polite and helpful. The excellent cuisine, the fish is delicious, the fresh pasta excellent and cooked to perfection, fried calamari excellent, the best I have ever eaten, crispy and slightly greasy batter, which makes it light and not at all heavy. We recommend this place for anyone who wants to eat well and in peace. Honest quality and price
