The frequency of visits remains worthwhile, partly due to the tricks of the competition. The service used to be better, a sign of the times. The menu and its preparation remain excellent.

Great atmosphere..great food, and great service from the staff in their pristine white starched jackets.
When you book ask for a table inside the restaurant because sitting outside means you will miss the whole reason for going..
P.s.. there is a minor dress code..but it’s worth it..

Had dinner at Nino in Rome and I can say one thing. This is the kind of place where you walk in for a simple meal and leave feeling like you’ve been adopted by an Italian grandma.
The food was delicious, the atmosphere was warm and the staff were so friendly that I almost forgot my trousers were getting tighter by the minute.
The pasta was excellent, the wine did its job and my self-control disappeared somewhere between the starter and dessert.
Nino is not a tourist trap. It is a place you happily come back to. Hungry. And wearing elastic trousers.

An atmospheric place and a bit noisy.
The food was average overall. The portions were decent, but there were not many mussels in the dish, and the tiramisu was just okay in terms of taste.
The meat was tasty, but unfortunately it arrived already cooled down. Also, we noticed that two bread baskets were included on the bill, even though we only had one on the table.

I visited this restaurant few times 25 years ago and fell in love with the food and came back after 25 years the same great food and the same people, everything is perfect about this restaurant, one of the best experiences in Rome .
