17/05/2025: Six years ago, we came to Rome and found this restaurant. The food was so good that we already saved the place for future visits to the city. Today, we returned for a quick day trip, and we knew we had to eat here again. We remember the high-quality and abundant food, and today we can confirm that this hasn't changed at all: delicious Italian dishes, and good portions. Definitely a place to cherish in our memories.

12/05/2025: Kind staff, SCARY mixed starters, plentiful and delicious, from land and sea. Very low prices compared to quality and quantity. Absolutely worth trying.

05/05/2025: Delicious. Fruti di mare noodles and risotto with prawn cream are phenomenal. The wine they offer you is first class. Not to be missed if you are near the Vatican.

11/12/2024: I was a little skeptical of a restaurant with a gimmick like an airplane coming out, but the food was amazing. I was only in Rome 2 days but this was hands down my favorite meal. Hands down the best pizza I've ever had & I wish I could eat that classico rice ball every day! I'm drooling thinking about it 😋

29/08/2024: Posto particolare rispetto ai ristoranti normali,non male,per quanto riguarda la pulizia lascia a desiderare,la pizza e i supplì buoni,ma sconsiglio la sala privè a 180 € ,che poi è tutto tranne che privè.praticamente spendi 200€ per mangiare una pizza.apparte questo lo consiglio.

27/04/2025: Venerdì a passeggio per Trevignano Romano in compagnia di amici ci siamo accomodati per pranzo in questo ristorante sul lungolago dove eravamo stati qualche anno fà. Ottimo inizio con plateau di crudi, catalana di gamberi, frittura di alici e moscardini. Proseguito con tagliolini con triglie e paccheri con scampetti. Continuato condividendo un filetto di persico alla griglia e un polpo su purea di fave. Chiusura con fragole alla panna. Buono il vermentino proposto, veloce il servizio, ottima l'accoglienza di Fabio ed il suo staff. Consigliato

15/05/2025: Quality ingredients. Jamon platter really good and very attentive service after specifying food intolerances. I would have preferred to find a selection of tapas on the menu that seem almost marginal and they focus a lot on paella when in reality there are much more noteworthy dishes such as roast suckling pig and beef meatballs or other fish-based dishes. Prices in line.

04/05/2025: When I want paella I always come to this place. Really excellent! A very small sore point is the sangria which does not have its classic taste (I think it is only made with apples) and could be improved.

04/05/2025: Ristorante posizionato poco fuori dal Raccordo dispone di un ampio parcheggio. La struttura prevede una macelleria/norcineria dove acquistare i prodotti dell'azienda (e non solo) ed un ristorante molto curato. Cibo di ottima fattura e qualità anche se il menù non dispone di molta scelta (eccezion fatta, ovviamente, per la carne) Prezzi poco sopra lo standard. Personale molto gentile e disponibile. Da tenere in considerazione se si vuole fare un pranzo/cena in tranquillità

02/02/2025: Traditionelle trattoria auf recht gutem Niveau, das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis stimmt! Auf der Karte die typisch römischen Gerichte von carciofi alla roman oder alla guidia über die traditionelle Pasta, typische Fleisch- und Fischgerichte. Weinauswahl recht gut und zu fairen Preisen, auch die günstigen Hausweine absolut empfehlenswert! Sehr zuvorkommendes und humoriges Personal, und auch der Gründer des Restaurants, der sehr nette Seniorchef macht jedem Tisch persönlich seine Aufwartung! Empfehlung!

27/01/2025: Buon ristorante che fa ottimi sia i piatti di terra classici che quelli di pesce. Noi abbiamo ordinato un po’ di tutto e ci è piaciuto ogni piatto, dolci compresi. Elegante con salette private e personale gentile.

26/05/2025: What a bad end Sergio & Serra has met!!! We have been frequenting this restaurant for about ten years. For my family it has always been a small safe haven, the simple and genuine trattoria, where you can eat fresh fish, with one of the best quality-price ratios in Ostia. Already in the last two years we had reported less satisfactory experiences with regards to the quality of the food and the service. Today it was clear that IL RISTORANTE SERGIO&SERRA NO LONGER EXISTS! What remains is a kind of chaotic and noisy and rude canteen, where you eat badly and they treat you badly. The service has become poor, hostile and vulgar. Now it is entirely managed by foreign staff detached from any sense of tradition and good manners. A rude person, to the first question I asked me, answered me arrogantly, in a Romanian-Roman: "aò che sè a-rivatto mò e giàvvoi ordinnà!" Even though I had booked, the reservation had not been recorded, and they seated us at a small and sad table, hidden behind a cabinet. But the worst aspect was the food. In the meantime, the menu is now openly composed mainly of FROZEN FISH. We tried to orient ourselves on what fresh was available. The fried anchovies that we had ordered as an appetizer came from the pile of ready-made appetizers on the display, and were small, dry and skimpy. We were used to eating a freshly made fried food, cooked express for each portion ordered, with fresh and succulent fish. None of that anymore. While we were still at the beginning of the appetizer, a sulky waitress, passing by us without saying a word, threw the first course of the first courses on the table: my spaghetti with clams. It already looked awful. And when I stuck my fork in, the whole portion of pasta came up compact and stuck together. Specifically, it was a terrible aglio e olio, overcooked, dry and sticky, with 8-9 clam shells in total, but half of them were already empty. My companion ordered linguine with lobster. It arrived at a third moment, a large and colorful Flemish, on which we both placed our last hopes. Instead, it was pasta with peeled tomatoes and pieces of tasteless and tasteless lobster. If we had eaten it with our eyes closed, we would have sworn that it was a pasta with tomato sauce of the kind ordered for children. The waiters took away all three Flemish left half full, and did not deign to ask if everything was okay. I, waiting for their reactions, also registered this umpteenth gesture of indifference in the total decline of the service. I wasn't in the mood for discussion, especially not with such rude and unhelpful staff, who probably aren't even capable of understanding objections or criticisms, or what quality is. I went to the cash register, where I met one of the old men of the place, who looked half sad and half resigned (to the distortion of his activity, I think). He didn't ask me anything about how I liked the meal. He hadn't even said good morning. He handed me the POS. I paid and said "goodbye". Once out of there, we went for a coffee in a historic bar in the neighborhood. They confirmed to us the total decline of Sergio&Serra. The same confirmation from the restaurateurs of a new place that opened nearby, with the intention of offering good cuisine: aware that Sergio&Serra is no longer a credible competitor in terms of quality of food and service. What a shame!

01/06/2025: We made a reservation for having dinner at the terrace and enjoyed the delicious dishes served here, such as the spigola in crostata di patate, as wel as the Shiraz red wine from Lazio, while having magnificent views over the Anienne waterfall area and the Temple of Sibilla.

27/04/2025: Il peggiore posto dove sono mai stata nella mia vita. Ero ad un addio al nubilato con amici, c’era un menù fisso con annesso spettacolo. Il locale era troppo piccolo, troppo pieno e gli attori davvero non avevano posto per muoversi. Non contenti all’improvviso, nel mezzo della seconda portata (si trattava di un piatto di carne) ho avvertito malessere allo stomaco, sono andata in bagno e ho rimesso tutta la cena con annesso attacco di dissenteria. Viaggio in tutto il mondo, mangio davvero ovunque, non sono per cui una persona di elevate pretese, ma non sono mai stata così male.. credo si sia trattato di avvelenamento in altro modo non so spiegarlo. Nei giorni a seguire anche altre due persone (eravamo un tavolo da 7, quindi 3 su 7) che erano a tavola con me sono state male, non ho voluto indagare sull’intero tavolo perché sinceramente non volevo rovinare il momento alla futura sposa. Last but not least i prezzi sono folli per lo schifo che abbiamo mangiato

29/05/2025: Absolutely perfect experience! Delicious food, very fair price, beautiful setting, tremendous professional service. As an American visiting abroad, dining can be stressful due to my lack of language skills. But the team at Ristorante Tirrena was patient and helpful. They even provided a menu in English with allergy references. Thank you for such a great experience!
