08/08/2024: While passing through that area we stopped for something to eat for dinner. Very welcoming place and excellent service. Dinner with two excellent first courses and a fantastic sirloin steak with baked potatoes. Excellent value for money. Recommended if you are in the area.

07/08/2024: The other evening we had dinner here after not going for a few years....the place is really nice, the starter very simple, the meat of a good standard but unfortunately the service of our waiter was disastrous, after having when we brought the bill we realized that they had added a bitter that we had never bought, we order our bitters and they tell us that they would have deducted that bitter, they bring us the bill with the addition of the new bitters but they bring us one more and leave more in the bill the first one that was not on our table, they tell us that they would have removed it (and there are 2) while I drink my amaro the glass splits in 2 and obviously everything gets wet and what happens? The waiter didn't dry anything or change any dishes until we left. Final beauty? We are given a bill to pay orally and when we pay they bring us the wrong change. It's sad that such a beautiful place is lost by not taking care of the customer

15/08/2024: The food is very good, in the nomen omen, refined just right without unpleasant stinks. Trained staff, attentive to needs, professional. You eat well for both lunch and dinner. The prices are very honest, especially in relation to what you eat.

05/07/2024: If you are looking for fresh fish and well-cooked food in Santa Severa, this is where you need to come. Excellent fried fish and maltagliati with redfish sauce and pecorino cheese, a discovery! Textbook kindness and seriousness. Highly recommended.

30/06/2024: Cibo non male, ma 20 euro un piatto con 15 anelli di calamaro, mi sembra esagerato. In generale porzioni troppo piccole per il costo, anche i primi davvero 2 forchettate di pasta. Siamo usciti da lì con più fame di quando siamo entrati

05/08/2024: DISAPPOINTING The fist time I dined at Aroma was August 19, 2014; it was a very memorable experience. The a-la carte selection was magnificent and the service, setting and view was outstanding. I have since been recommending this restaurant and speaking highly of it for the past 10 years. I booked this table nearly 6 months prior and was so excited to share this experience with my fiancé as part of his 30th birthday present August 3, 2024; nearly 10 years apart exactly. Although the service for the most and the setting and of course the view still remain outstanding, the food wasn’t up to par and it was extremely overpriced 220 Euros per person not including wine or water. The sommelier wasn’t happy either that I didn’t choose the Italian shiraz over the French Pinot Noir I selected; so much so he didn’t speak to us nor approached us for the rest of the evening! The images of the food and dessert on the website did not reflect that which was served at all. The only dish which was a standout of the entire menu was ONLY the Risotto which was the only dish with real merit. They sat us at our table, but rather than us facing each other, my partner was facing the American lady at the table right beside us. He text me this when we sat down - “ It's a little awkward to have two tables of two this close, let alone facing each other. It feels like we are on the same table”. I got up and swapped seats with him, but he was basically rubbing shoulders with the stranger next to him, let alone them speaking loudly which also made the whole experience even more awkward. The a-la carte menu had sadly since been replaced by an underwhelming selection of overpriced set menus, which deliver in my opinion a lazy and small selection of what should be a gastronomical experience. We left the restaurant feeling completely ripped off and extremely dissatisfied - Keeping in mind we just paid over 556 Euros (939AUD) for a very average dining experience. The dessert was a complete joke, so much so that the petis fours were better and more substantial, I just can’t express how dissatisfying this entire experience was for us. One of waiters who served us was lovely, but I didn’t have the heart to tell him his zipper was down the entire night. That’s something the manager should pick up on. But the waiter did an exceptional job regardless. I know that Aroma can deliver much better than this. I’m extremely disappointed with this experience and less inclined to ever return or recommend to friends, strangers or clients.

06/07/2024: Comfortable environment, service attentive to customer needs. For those who appreciate good food and simplicity at the table. Good value for money.
