29/04/2025: My son and his wife chose Villa Battistini for their wedding celebration. A fabulous decision. It's a beautiful building, impeccably maintained just like its grounds, in a stunning countryside location. Those things don't make a wedding party special though. It's the people who cooked and served the quality and quantity of food at Villa Battistini that made it an incredibly special day. Amazing array of antipasti choices (that could easily have been a full meal in itself for all 65 of us), followed by two pasta dishes I would say are the best I ever had, then a main of perfectly cooked rolled sea bass in a herb crust. The light as a feather and delicious wedding cake would alone have been a fitting end to a splendid meal, but the dessert buffet served alongside was not just a thing of beauty, like the antipasti it covered every kind you might imagine, each of which was a delight to eat. All this was delivered with the efficiency you'd expect from such a pristine venue, but also with warmth and care from every person who works there. Luckily we haven't left Italy to return home yet. If there's a day they don't have a wedding before we go, we will make sure we return for a restaurant meal. Utterly perfect in every way.

06/07/2025: Structure with enormous potential, very nice pool. What we didn't like is that the rooms should have been cleaned better (I prefer not to go into details). Another important note, the welcome...none of the staff was smiling and friendly.

03/08/2025: Compliments on the food, the service could be improved. As for quality, quantity, and price, I can only say excellent. Compliments. One last thing, for those who book a table: try to book upstairs. I booked. Three seats and I found myself in a hole with no windows. It was almost impossible to breathe. If you want to have a gladiator's prison experience under the Colosseum, you can book with confidence. As I said, the food and the show were great, and I'll definitely be back, specializing in something other than the tub. Next time, Il Nido del Corvo.

23/07/2025: A quaint place, a room full of objects and furnishings waiting to be discovered. The food and wine are delicious, and the service is fast and attentive. Recommended!

06/07/2025: I thought long and hard about whether to apply here, because I really want it to remain an insider tip. You arrive and feel welcome. The hosts, Anna and Pino, really deserve 10 stars. The room was spacious and clean. The food was delicious and just what you'd imagine Italy to be. We were able to recharge our batteries here on our way to Rome, in this peaceful spot.

18/08/2025: Excellent restaurant, I've been there two nights in a row, having tried others in the area that aren't quite as good. Special appetizers with natural and refined ingredients, excellent first courses, fabulous meat-based main courses, and mouth-watering homemade desserts!! They also make pizza, but we didn't order it. If I'm ever in the area again, I'll definitely stop by again.

08/08/2025: If I could give the atmosphere 10 stars, I would. It's ABSOLUTELY worth it, even if you don't want to eat there for just a drink (which would be a shame, even just to admire the service and chat a little more with the super friendly and approachable waitresses).

06/08/2025: Friendly and exceptional staff... the owner is a great person to talk about wines and oils, very knowledgeable and very friendly, the food was delicious! And thanks to him, I had the pleasure of discovering Piero's company in Caparrola. Thanks again!!!

25/06/2025: Abbiamo soggiornato all’Agriturismo Piccolo Lago per un weekend (sabato e domenica) e ci siamo trovati davvero benissimo! Il posto è immerso nella natura, con una splendida vista lago e galline libere che girano nel prato: un’atmosfera semplice, rilassante e autentica. Dopo 500 km in moto, era proprio quello che ci serviva: pace, tranquillità e una cena squisita a prezzi più che onesti. Tutto è stato all’altezza delle aspettative. Consigliatissimo !!

13/08/2025: Typical Rieti trattoria. Rustic yet authentic food, a rustic atmosphere, and an excellent variety of dishes. The waitress (perhaps the owner) is kind and helpful, but she has to do everything herself. Ideal for those looking for a low price and a taste of traditional cuisine.

18/08/2025: On the main street of the village, within walls that evoke a sense of history, you'll find the restaurant. We ate outside, on the street, on a very quiet Sunday. The menu is quite extensive and certainly appealing, with a good balance between the new and the traditional. Everything I've tasted has been truly delicious, and my heartfelt congratulations to the management, because, in a context like this, offering such refined dishes certainly shows a strong belief in what they do!

03/08/2025: We went for the first time, very beautiful and characteristic place, kind and welcoming staff, excellent quality food and the restaurant located in an alley of a beautiful medieval village. We will return, I recommend it.

18/08/2025: Very nice place, but the service was truly awful. It took over 30 minutes just to get a bottle of water, and over an hour to get pizza or a simple pasta dish for the kids. A scandal. The only redeeming feature was the waiter, Aron, who apologized numerous times, but the rest... truly awful.

17/08/2025: Da Lina was a delightful discovery. The place is spacious with a large outdoor patio, clean and welcoming. The food won us over from the start. The appetizers were an explosion of flavors, and the first courses were excellent, as was the meat. Everything was truly perfect!!!

30/07/2025: After a few years, I visited the restaurant's new location, which I've always loved and frequented. The new location is splendid! Especially during this time of year, I must say that dining outdoors in the evening has a unique charm. As always, the service is excellent, with Angela, the hostess, who immediately puts you at ease, and the staff, not only highly trained but also always ready to smile and take care of the table and the guests' needs. The food was EXCELLENT, just as I remembered. Everything was perfect!! Everything was top-notch, in an absolutely family-friendly atmosphere. Just one thing about this wonderful, renovated experience: the lack of Francesco's smile and friendliness, however, is more than made up for by the heart and quality of those who have inherited it! Congratulations, Angela, congratulations to everyone, it's impossible not to come back to "home." 23/06/2025: Restaurant quality, honest trattoria atmosphere like in the old days. Today quality places are lost in a self-referentiality that neglects the customer, here we find the pleasure of eating out and among the tables there is also familiarity.

30/08/2025: Tiny and picturesque situated in a narroew street, we had several servings of varying quality. The grilled ifsh was okay, and perhaps the veal steaks were better - they did look like it! Grilled Egg plant and Zucchini good, and the french fries standard. The spaghetti with mushrooms was delicious. More will follow ...
