18/01/2026: The atmosphere at Casina nel Parco is wonderful. The staff is impeccable, incredibly helpful and welcoming; they make you feel at home. We often go to this restaurant for dinner on weekends, and we've celebrated the most important moments of our lives. We've always left fond memories of the warm welcome we received, every day like the first time. Highly recommended!

31/03/2026: Stopped in "La Pergola"for lunch as I needed to charge my Tesla , I think this restaurant is an absolute find . Not only as a stop for charging the car but as a high quality restaurant . The restaurant is beautiful, set in an old farm house with tons of charm . As you enter you are warmly greeted by the staff , the staff is super professional . The restaurant is dominated by an open grill and a fridge displaying all the meats , on the left side the station for the many types of Prosciutto cut and served . 😋 The cacio e pepe pasta was delicious, my signora is Umbrian and if she says that a dish is good that means its traditionally cooked and delizioso. I had a filetto that I wanted "a sangue" , and it was grilled to perfection. The dolce was a great surprise, prepared in house and ... well just look at the photos, this is not your average Italian dolce . We will return again soon.

18/03/2026: If it were possible, I'd give it zero out of five stars. It was simply an unacceptable experience. The tomahawk steak was inedible: the meat smelled terrible, as if it had gone bad. That alone would be enough to never return. But the most shocking thing was seeing a stray cat roaming freely on the tables, dirtying plates and dishes. It's disturbing even to think about the bacteria that could exist in such an environment. Furthermore, the waitress didn't even speak Italian, which is absolutely unforgivable for a restaurant in Italy. The only positive thing was the dessert: the cannoli was really good. It's a shame everything else was so awful. A terrible experience in every way. I strongly advise against it.

14/03/2026: Simple traditional dishes, from cacio e pepe to fettuccine to ravioli. The grill is good. The staff is friendly and the prices are average.

16/03/2026: We came here for lunch on Sunday following the advice of many people and they were right, everything was delicious, the tartare with marrow was delicious along with the carbonara with pistachios which left us amazed, even though I always want to try new places to eat here I would gladly go back to try other cuts of meat

A casual yet elegant location, attentive and friendly service, and a varied cuisine with interesting options for both meat-eaters and vegetarians. The cheese selection is excellent, as are the homemade fregnacce. Highly recommended.

26/12/2025: Always a great experience here at Taverna del Tiranno: I've tried it on several occasions, especially for lunch during short trips out of the Sabine-Rieti area (for example, it's just minutes from Farfa Abbey and many other charming little villages worth visiting). Even during this latest offering—a Christmas lunch with family and relatives—Raniero, his partner, and their team proved to be an excellent team in charge of the dining room and kitchen, demonstrating courtesy, simplicity, friendliness, and that touch of rusticity and refinement that distinguishes them. The Christmas tasting menu was incredibly balanced in flavors and portions, allowing us to fully savor each dish and arrive at the coffee shop feeling happy, satisfied, and not weighed down. Kudos to the selection of local ingredients and the extensive and well-rounded wine cellar, offering local and Italian wines (with a few excursions beyond the Alps), with a special focus on small, artisanal and sustainable producers, including labels that will please natural wine lovers. 03/10/2025: Wonderful location. Quite. Great view. Family owned place and really delicious food. And best part for us that kitchen was open at 6 (even they do “orario continuato”) which is unusual for Italy. And they served the food quite fast, again unusual 😅 Not because that was what we expected but since we’re quite hungry that was great. 10/10
