18/08/2024: We chose this restaurant to celebrate the August holiday. Starting from the beautiful location, directly on the sea, everything was excellent. The fixed menu included: seafood appetizer, paccheri alla Luciana, sea bream in a potato crust, a fry for every 2 people, cannoli (water and a bottle of wine included), which were all quality dishes, which was not trivial given the turnout of the day, with generous portions (like those of the past). The icing on the cake is Ugo, the owner, very nice and welcoming. In short, it is a stop not to be missed if you are in Gaeta! We will be back.

11/08/2024: I can only confirm what has already been written in the other positive reviews. Beautiful terrace, extremely friendly and impeccable service, relaxed environment. We particularly liked the roasted octopus, the gnocchi with grouper and the slice of amberjack. Good wine list. Current price with the quality of food and service.

14/08/2024: While waiting for your traditional counter-argument, I will tell you as an old former loyal customer what I think: unfortunately the changes are not always "for good". You had an isolated and welcoming place, high quality raw materials from fish to pizzas. You intended to move into that surreal aquarium where the fish - customers find themselves facing dishes that have become embarrassing. One of vs. a must, the scampi cream risotto for example, managed to make a table of my friends feel ill a few days ago. Have the installation and management costs of the new location advised you to plan radical savings on raw materials? A dispassionate piece of advice: sometimes a step back is a sign of humility and intelligence. Return to your previous location and your former quality. You and your customers will benefit. If, regarding my objective criticisms in this regard, the dear owner would like a personal discussion, I will be happy to meet him for a coffee. I'm not a "keyboard lion" but a person who has always put his face to it. So see you soon, I hope.

01/07/2024: On jun 24 margherita pizza with mozzarella di bufala was very very very good. And also home made desserts and a 0.5 lt Weiss beer were noticeable. All came at reasonable price of 33 euros for 2 people. The waitresses were very kind and efficient but service (for pizzas) was slow. Place is a little bit outdated. Some children played around the tables, but being outside make their chaos happy and... "quiet".

17/08/2024: Beyond the very tavern atmosphere, the quality of the fish is appreciable. What really doesn't go down well is the negligible quantity of the portions to say the least: both for the risotto and for the frying they were absolutely not worth the price.

16/08/2024: The Il Granchio restaurant in Terracina offers a culinary experience that borders on perfection. I had the pleasure of dining here with a couple of friends who knew the property, and from the start the atmosphere was simply impeccable. The location is extremely suggestive, with a breathtaking view of the sea which adds a magical touch to the whole evening. The menu exceeded all expectations. The raw starters were amazing; it was like rediscovering the authentic flavors of the sea after years. The quality of the fish was exceptional, very fresh and expertly prepared. The first courses, including a parmesan-filled pasta and a clam gnocco, were delicious and well-balanced. The monkfish, cooked to perfection, melted in your mouth. And the chocolate dessert that concluded the dinner was a true masterpiece, an explosion of flavors. A truly unique ritual of the restaurant is the arrival, at the end of dinner, of the mortadella with focaccia after the coffee, a touch of originality that makes the experience even more memorable. The staff proved to be extremely professional and kind, and the owners convey a genuine passion for their work. Super recommended.

20/07/2024: Il ristorante è bello, la mise en place anche, i camerieri sono molto bravi e che ne dicano gli altri commenti, il pesce è fresco. La verità è che costa molto, mediamente 35/40euro a piatto con punte fi 90€ per gran crudo e catalana. A proposito di catalana, lasciate stare, il prezzo non vale la candela, meglio i piatti 'normali'. La mortadella è focaccia offerta dopo i dolci non l'ho capita. 35minuti di attesa per il conto, chiesto 3 volte. Forse ci torneremo ma scegliendo con più attenzione le portate. Avendo speso 250euro a coppia, mi sarei aspettato molto di meglio. PS: menzione particolare per alcuni avventori di un trucido allucinante

19/07/2024: Mandato da un collega che mangia bio, menù a nove euro che ho preso tutto verdure, acqua compresa. Con il caffè 10.00 euro Ottime le verdure ma scarsa l’offerta , sarà stato l’orario oltre le 13.00 Ma fate trovare un’alternativa di almeno due primi e due secondi. Location pulita e personale simpatico ed efficiente.

24/08/2024: In the Jewish quarter, in the oldest part of Fondi, attracted by the positive reviews and some advice I read, my husband and I decided for a pizza and an appetizer. Everything is spectacular! Real soft, digestible Neapolitan pizza, super stuffed with the highest quality ingredients! Crispy and delicious appetizer! Very particular craft beer. Fast service and the owner attentive to the needs and well-being of customers. Suggestive location outside the restaurant. Cool and ventilated place. Average prices! Absolutely highly recommended!

03/09/2024: Prenotiamo per curiosità, ingannati dalla pubblicità sui social, che sono sempre più convinto andrebbero chiusi per legge :). Per dignita lasciamo perdere la qualità del servizio, degno di una media trattoria dei castelli romani ( senza offesa per quest'ultimi ). Lo spettacolo si apre con l'impossibilità di avere del normale pane (perche il locale dispone solo di focacce alte 5cm) ed un cameriere che ti versa nei calici del vino da 30 euro senza nemmeno degnati di farlo assaggiare prima. Passiamo poi ad un antipasto da 40 euro comprensivo di cozze gelate e/o prigioniere di una coltre di pangrattato bruciato che nemmeno un castoro avrebbe violato. Seguono dei primi piatti dove per il sentire l sapore del mare abbiamo fatto ricorso a tutta la nostra fantasia.....prima di uscire noto una parete piena di foto con attori e persone dello spettacolo. La cosa mi restituisce una grande soddisfazione e conferma che la popolarità spesso non si sposa con il buon gusto....

08/07/2024: Durante il matrimonio dei nostri amici i camerieri continuavano a togliere i piatti a noi invitati nonostante non avessimo toccato ancora cibo. Non potevi alzarti un attimo a fumare una sigaretta che in due secondi ti levavano il piatto! Ho mangiato solo il primo, gli altri piatti non sono stati neanche toccati da me, che spreco!! Capisco che il matrimonio dura fino a tardi e che bisogna rispettare le tempistiche, sicuramente i camerieri vengono indicati così, però in questo caso è stato veramente eccessivo e fastidioso! Inoltre: buffet finito subito e non ricaricato, sigari finiti subito e mai ricaricati, per non parlare del PREZZO ESORBITANTE PAGATO! Aggiungo anche che durante il matrimonio, di sfondo, c’erano bagnanti di ogni tipo e venditori abusivi che sostavano esattamente dietro a dove si svolgeva la funzione. La funzione viene svolta in un luogo angusto e piccolissimo, la pedana dove si cammina è molto pericolosa per bambini ed anziani, non ci sono abbastanza sedie per tutti, insomma UN POSTO DOVE NON TORNEREMO MAI PIÙ

05/06/2024: What can I say, we got married on May 4, 2024, everything was so perfect. The location is wonderful and Kefi set-ups took care of making everything even more elegant. The food is really great, the staff friendly and helpful. A special mention to Alba, attentive to every little detail (especially for us newlyweds)
