The sweetness, kindness, professionalism, and attention to detail of the entire staff went far beyond our expectations. The organization was impeccable, the service attentive and ever-present, the food simply perfect. It's a corner of paradise that will forever remain in our memories... but above all in our hearts. 29/06/2025: Sunset wedding on 06/23/2025, everything was perfect as we imagined. Incredible staff followed us step by step throughout the evening. Abundant and delicious food from appetizer to dessert. Thanks to Tiziana, Elisa and Achille wonderful. Can it be replicated?!! The guests filled us with compliments.

02/07/2025: Absolutely recommended! Whenever we are in Formia, a fixed stop is the pizzeria "Al Sedano Allegro". The pizza is excellent, cooked in a wood oven and with quality ingredients. The atmosphere on the patio is very pleasant and relaxing. An extra touch of color? The cats that walk peacefully between the tables!

07/06/2025: Excellence at 360 degrees, a location, once you enter, that completely envelops you and transmits inner serenity and happiness, the dishes are a journey through flavors that strike both the taste and the sight in perfect balance with each other. The story that is told on each dish that has as its theme the reclamation of the Pontine Marshes leaves you dreaming in a visual and flavorful journey that you would never want to end, and background music to enhance everything just described. I highly recommend the experience, because here we are talking about true experience in discovering new flavors and history, I compliment the great chef and his wife, for the care they have had for us. We will return to discover a new story that will come to life through new dishes. Thank you!
18/05/2025: We discovered this restaurant just a few minutes from home with great surprise, a very pleasant discovery I would add! A gastronomic journey curated down to the smallest details and very particular, refined and exquisite flavors that transport you into the fairy tale that is the common thread of all the courses, in this case Pinocchio! We will definitely return in the summer to discover the new theme that the chef will be inspired by for the new menu! Highly recommended for those looking for something special with impeccable service and a not excessive price that is absolutely worth the menu!

Special thanks to the person who looked after us, whose name, I discovered, is Carla. The scenic setting, with its impressive and delicious dishes, is also noteworthy. All the dishes were also considered excellent by those at our table.

30/07/2025: A huge disappointment, unfortunately. I came to Acquapazza with high expectations, wanting to give a special experience to my nephew, the son of restaurateurs in Madrid and accustomed since childhood to eating in Michelin-starred restaurants around the world. I chose this place without asking for advice, trusting the name (my mistake). Let's start with the positive: the location is truly enchanting. At the top of the island, with a spectacular view of all of Ponza, the atmosphere is refined and very evocative. The staff was kind and courteous, nothing to complain about in terms of human touch. But from a Michelin-starred restaurant, I expect much more, especially in two fundamental aspects: service and cuisine. Regarding service: despite there being few tables, the attention was lacking. Our wine remained forgotten in the cooler, and several times we were forced to serve ourselves. In a restaurant of this caliber, this is unacceptable: in certain price ranges, customers deserve careful attention, discreetly but consistently. No one expects extreme formality, but attention is. And it was lacking here. About the food: beautiful presentation, beautifully plated dishes. But the flavor? Mediocre. No memorable dishes, no emotion. I left the restaurant with nothing that made me want to return. I've enjoyed much more at all the other restaurants I've tried on the island, at much more reasonable prices. The bill, however, was extremely high (€350 for the tasting menu, for three people with two bottles of wine for around €30 each), and frankly not justified by what we received. A Michelin star must be earned every day, and maintained with rigor, commitment, and research. Here, I had the distinct feeling that they were living off their income.
15/07/2025: Intimate atmosphere, elegant views, Michelin-starred dishes. The precise service: Acqua Pazza is famous in Ponza for its refinement and customer service. The dishes are carefully prepared and rich in flavor. Recommended.

We didn't even get to try the pizza, because the wait was interminable: rightly so on Saturday night there is only one person to roll out and put it in the oven, which is simply absurd for a place that decides to stay open on the weekend. We settled for two first courses, but the result was even worse: inedible dishes, which we left there. The icing on the cake, the arrogance and rudeness of the owner, totally incapable of managing customers and the dining room. A restaurant like this shouldn't even have the pretension of calling itself such. I will remember the name of the place so I never go back. P.S.: did the chef give you back the €50 or did he collect it himself? What a terrible story to include on your resume.

05/08/2025: We went for dinner; the location is certainly very charming, but it wasn't balanced by the food. They served us eggplant parmigiana that was dry and burned, a lentil soup that was neither praise nor infamy, and barbecued red sea bream that was served cold. Special mention should be made of the rudeness of the sommelier, who, when we asked for protection from the wind, offered a blanket. Definitely not up to expectations.
31/07/2025: We have dined at EEA every year for the past few years. It never disappoints. The food is absolutely delicious and the setting is beautiful. Thank you again for our waitress (Rajuvita? We know whe have this wrong, but we hope she knows who she is. Lovely Indian woman), who has always been super professional and an absolute delight. We look forward to returning next year.

26/07/2025: During our stay on Ponza, a beautiful but decidedly expensive island, my friends and I were aware of the high prices, especially in restaurants. However, we always carefully chose places that combined quality seafood, a charming location, and a warm welcome. And I must say that, four out of five times, we were quite satisfied, even with the "hefty" bills. The only real disappointment was dinner at La Lanterna da Silverio, on Corso Carlo Pisacane. We ordered an octopus with potatoes appetizer (good but a small portion) and a grouper fillet for the main course. And here's the surprise: we were served a microscopic slice, about 10x5 cm, without any side dish, for €22. We then ordered a plate of baked potatoes, which was also very modest in quantity. As for the quality of the fish, there's nothing to complain about: it was fresh and well-cooked. However, the portion was so small that we suspected the intended slice had been split between two people. When I observed the food, the staff seemed unhelpful, almost annoyed, and the owner, who had been courteous upon arrival, didn't even approach to explain or listen to the customer. We left the table with a bitter taste in our mouths and the feeling that we hadn't received service commensurate with the price. It's a shame, because in Ponza you can eat well even if you pay a lot... but still feel respected as customers. In this case, unfortunately, we felt cheated. So if you're looking for a good value (a fair one), they don't deliver.

30/06/2025: For the umpteenth time a pleasant surprise! We returned after a few years and ate for the first time on a wonderful panoramic terrace and we were served very well. In particular thanks to Gianluca who knows how to pamper his customers in a very professional way.
17/06/2025: Good entree, appetizers, seafood salad and shrimp tartare you could feel that the raw materials were of quality to follow we had spaghetti with fish ragù and with anchovies and cherry tomatoes, as a second course slices of roasted fish fragolino sea bream and cod. Too much blue fish on the menu (three dishes) the flavors from appetizer to second course not memorable nothing that makes you want to return.

13/05/2025: "La Terrazza di Mimì" è un posto speciale. La cucina rispetta la tradizione ma con un tocco moderno e creativo che rende ogni piatto interessante e curato, anche nella presentazione. I sapori sono bilanciati e si percepisce l’attenzione ai dettagli. Menzione speciale ai dolci: originali, buonissimi e curati come tutto il resto del menù. Davvero il modo perfetto per chiudere il pasto. Oltre alla qualità del cibo, quello che colpisce è l’accoglienza: l’intero staff è stato caloroso, presente e sinceramente gentile. In particolare, li ringraziamo per l’aiuto e la premura con cui si sono prodigati nell’aiutare mia moglie a gestire un problema personale, anche se del tutto estraneo al contesto del ristorante. Un gesto che abbiamo molto apprezzato. Un ristorante dove si mangia benissimo e si sta ancora meglio. Consigliato senza esitazioni.
04/05/2025: Siamo stati alla terrazza dí Mimi per due sere consecutive(fossimo stati a Ventotene un giorno in più saremmo tornati per la terza volta!) Il posto è bello: curato e accogliente. Il personale è gentile, simpatico, attento. La mise en place impeccabile. I piatti…un viaggio di sapori e profumi. Pesce di ottima qualità, piatti della tradizione con la giusta sperimentazione. Belli da vedere ottimo da gustare. Chiara è una pasticceria eccelsa bravissima anche in sala. Prezzi adeguati all’eccellenza proposta. Ci torneremo a pranzo per mangiare sospesi nel blu.

23/07/2025: The location is enchanting, scenically speaking. Unfortunately, the restaurant is not. I ordered gnocchi with a fish soup reduction, a completely bland dish; the reduction was basically a watery sauce with a few roughly chopped pieces of fish. The crunchy saffron was a decorative touch. The dish was completely disjointed; the gnocchi were completely bland, while the tomato sauce (certainly not a reduction) was more or less savory, but bland. The other dish I chose was a soaghetto with anchovy sauce and crumbled tarallo. It wasn't a bad thing, however, that the Brittany butter (I think) masked the flavor, giving the dish a unique heaviness. The service was quite quick (the bread and breadsticks were very good), but they were very slow in clearing away the empty plates. The fried fish (squid and shrimp) were quite good...except for the sweet and sour sauce, which was basically soy sauce in a small glass bowl. I should point out, however, that this post isn't meant to discourage new customers, but rather to give the establishment the opportunity to expand its offerings. The place is exceptional and deserves a little more effort.
