Captivated by the aesthetic details of the exterior, the interior is also very beautiful and welcoming, with stone walls, an antique oil mill, and an ancient cistern underneath. Even though there was only one person handling orders and service, we relaxed and the wait was worth it. Both the tiella and the first course were delicious, plus a nice selection of wines. One detail, which I've attached a photo of, is that be careful of the steps inside; one is a bit longer, and if you're distracted by the beauty of the place inside, you could easily trip. Good value for money.

Couple's dinner. The atmosphere is well-ventilated, intimate, and reflects the town's history. Many of the dishes are labeled with allergen information, and caters to those who require gluten-free or lactose-free options. The traditional products and dishes are excellent, especially the olive oil from local producers. Special praise goes to the service.

We happily stumbled upon this restaurant by chance, strolling along the seafront in search of some peace and quiet from the chaos of the noisy bars. It was a wonderful evening, the staff were friendly and professional, the food delicious, and the menu truly excellent (a few dishes, with carefully selected ingredients and explosive flavors). The Paella Gaetana is a must-try, unforgettable!!!! Thank you 💕

The entrance doesn't do justice to this restaurant's atmosphere, cuisine, and impeccable service. The difference was definitely made by the attentive service, which revisited the menu to accommodate my vegetarian requests, and offered a local wine and a truly delicious olive oil. If you're wandering the alleys of Gaeta, I recommend seeking out this gem!

01/05/2026: I came here to eat with my parents to celebrate my dad's birthday. We had octopus salad and paella Gaetana. The mussels were also very good as an appetizer. The waitress is very attentive and stays in the dining room with the guests; service is very fast. I recommend making a reservation. At 1:00 PM, the place was almost empty, and it was a holiday; it gradually filled up.
