06/11/2025: Thank you for an amazing evening. Our server was very kind, witty and helpful. The wines and cocktails (sgroppino <3) he recommended were incredible and the meat was cooked to perfection! We really enjoyed the Tiramisu and the Carbonara too. Thank you!

02/12/2025: The shrimp pizza was delicious, and the poke was pretty good. I came back three days in a row to have this pizza. I don't like tomato sauces, so I spent a long time looking for a pizza without tomato paste, and I found it! The arugula, shrimp, and mozzarella were fantastic! The owner was very nice, always trying to chat and joke around!

09/11/2025: We stumbled upon this restaurant by chance on a street corner after arriving late in Rome. And what a discovery it was when we walked in! A warm welcome, fish specialties with dishes each more delicious than the last (respecting and showcasing the quality of the ingredients), and a very pleasant atmosphere (dining with the local regulars). A special mention goes to the tiramisu for two—pure bliss! In four days, we went three times. So if you're ever in the Vatican area, take a detour to discover this gem of a restaurant; you won't be disappointed. As soon as we're back in Rome, we'll be returning with great pleasure.

16/11/2025: Last night we attended an 18th birthday party, and what can I say... excellent food, truly exceptional professionalism, and customer service. Besides being a guest, I set up the room in the afternoon, and they also provided cordial support. Before the cake, we wanted to show a video, and they were also ready to help if we needed an extension cord, power cord, or anything else. I mentioned their kindness before, because it's rare to find staff like that. The food was excellent.

13/11/2025: Service was pretty slow despite them not being busy. It was about 9pm and there was no line to get in. We were also sat in the back of a cramped corner of the middle room despite there being several tables open in other areas that seemed more spacious. At one point it even felt like we were purposely being ignored since an Italian couple who sat down 10 minutes after us were seated next to the lady making the fresh pasta and had their order taken within 3 min and even got their food served before the waiter could even get to us. When we finally had our order taken after 15 min of waiting, the attitude of our waiter seemed pretty off as well. It felt like he didn’t want us there at all. As for the food, we started off with red wine and their caprese which was good. We also had the carbonara since that’s what was recommended but it just tasted wayyyyy too salty and the pasta seemed undercooked. And I’m someone who likes to add salt to everything too. I’ve read the restaurant’s responses to other reviewers who has the same criticism on TripAdvisor and they’ve kept responding that “Roman food is typically salty” so take that as you will with a grain of salt (haha). Just wanted to let anyone know in case they felt the same way about the taste. They also mentioned in their other responses to other reviews that we could have returned our dishes to have it remade but we didn’t want to seem rude. We also got tiramisu which was surprisingly my favorite dish from the restaurant. I went up to the cashier to pay but was just left standing awkwardly for an extended period of time as the cashier was busy making small talk to her coworkers despite the restaurant no longer being busy at that point. I mean like only 2-3 tables still eating and 5 workers crowded in the main room just hanging out while I’m waiting to pay. Could just be a cultural difference so idk but it’s something to keep in mind for anyone reading this. Overall, pretty mid compared to my expectations with all the hype I’ve seen and food was okay. We had high expectations due to the recommendations from social media so I’m not sure if their quality went down due to them being trendy lately. I honestly didn’t even know they had that whole gimmick with the lady making fresh pasta at the front but I’m sure that’s part of the reason why this place is famous. Fyi: don’t trust the palettes of food reviewers from reddit or tiktok lol

18/09/2025: Great experience, I go there regularly, excellent for lunch break, on weekends there is always live music and dinner shows, top food, fresh fish and then the delicious Nikkei cuisine... polite and professional staff... I absolutely recommend!!!

08/10/2025: The Rigatoni Carbonara was simply a masterpiece – so incredibly creamy, harmonious, and full of flavor that I'm at a loss for words. From the very first bite, it was clear: this isn't just plain pasta – it's pure magic on a plate. The aroma, the texture, the flavor – everything perfectly balanced. The pecorino melted with the velvety egg yolk to create a sauce that wrapped itself around the rigatoni like silk, while the guanciale, with its delicate seasoning, enhanced every bite. I had to close my eyes to truly experience this moment – ​​it was so heavenly, intense, and perfect. The service and ambiance were also outstanding – warm, professional, and simply a place where you feel at home. But the focus is clearly on this dreamy Rigatoni Carbonara, which you simply have to try at least once in your life. A culinary experience you'll never forget – simply divine and absolutely recommended!
