27/10/2025: The Borgo is a hotel and restaurant located in a truly historic spot in Acquapendente. Located behind the town hall, it offers excellent service with select food, local specialties, and meticulously prepared dishes. Run in a homely manner, the staff is friendly and very hospitable. Highly recommended.

12/10/2025: We stumbled upon this restaurant by chance, it was excellent! We only ordered main courses, which included delicious wild boar and fantastic rabbit! Not to mention their tiramisu, don't wait to hear about it!!! Highly recommended, we had a wonderful time!

18/11/2025: The best-stocked natural wine shop I found in Rome. Rare and delicious wines, as well as the ravioli I ate there. The owner is a true expert, and if you're lucky enough to find it's not too crowded, he'll be your best guide to discovering Italian wines.

15/11/2025: The service was completely against their will. The wine we ordered wasn't available, and when we asked for a suitable alternative, it was too much to ask. Silence from them. We chose something else and were given a mini glass. When we paid, they asked for cash, and when we told them we didn't have any, they grumbled and asked for our bank card. Despite the other positive reviews we saw, I definitely DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS.

07/11/2025: An excellent seafood restaurant in Rome; my family and I have been frequenting it for several years, and it's always a guaranteed success. The elegant atmosphere, consistently fresh, top-quality ingredients, homemade pasta, and attentive, meticulous service are the order of the day. The menu also features meat dishes to please everyone, but I highly recommend the seafood. A special mention goes to Antonello, the soul of the restaurant, a true enthusiast, friendly, professional, and always ready to recommend the dish of the day. The restaurant is located near Villa Doria Pamphili, about 750 meters from the Baldo Degli Ubaldi metro station. There is no private parking, and it can often take a while to find a spot on the street.

02/12/2025: Outside, on Via Bergamo, the line is already a declaration of love: patient people, customers constantly pouring out laden with bags, the door that never closes in time... Inside, "I Molisani" is a small treasure chest crammed with baking trays, steam, voices, and aromas that smell more like home than a "trendy" place. I went there to buy vegetables, but I admit that the fried foods are a spectacle, and all that goodness staring at you from the window puts any diet plan on hold. The vegetables I bought aren't just a leaf to clear your conscience. The puntarelle, seasoned to perfection, with garlic that doesn't ask for permission but takes center stage, are excellent, and the chicory, bitter and just the right amount, reminds you that Roman cuisine can be both rough and tender in the same forkful. The lasagna deserves a chapter all its own, with generous portions, well-defined layers, a flavorful sauce, and, above all, none of the minimalism of nouvelle cuisine. Here, the "teglia" (a dish of bread) is an institution, and you can see why it's one of the most popular dishes: it's the classic thing you grab "to share" and then end up holding on to. The beauty of "I Molisani" is that it doesn't make a fuss, it's about substance. It's a real diner, with the pace, rhythm, and humanity of a place where you come to eat well, spend a fair amount, and feel, for a moment, part of a neighborhood. The line outside the little shop isn't a nuisance: it's the prelude to lunch, a sign that something truly good is happening there. And every time I leave here, I tell myself that certain Roman institutions should be protected by law.

08/11/2025: We had a wonderful dinner at Il Gabriello years ago and always wanted to return. I finally visited again a couple of days ago and had another amazing meal. The quality of both the food and the service is truly top-notch. I was delighted to see the same family still running the restaurant — the father, mother, and daughter are all incredibly kind and welcoming. The food is Michelin-quality in both taste and presentation; you can genuinely feel their passion for what they do. I ordered the salted cod as an appetizer, black spaghetti with seafood for my first course, and grilled calamari for the second course — every dish was absolutely delicious. I’ll definitely be coming back to Il Gabriello whenever I’m in Rome!

06/11/2025: My parents and I chose Il Gabriello for dinner during our week in Rome as it had good reviews, a convenient location, and my father is a fan of excellent seafood. We had no idea we were about to have one of the best meals of our lives. We had the tuna tartare, the shrimp with potato, tomato and onion, the langoustine pasta and one of the specials, a gorgeous, delicate dish of blue lobster, burrata and peach. My father asked the sommelier to choose a white wine for us and he chose the most beautiful sweet and fragrant wine (I know nothing about wine so I have no idea what it was, but we all loved it). Every dish was delicious, prepared perfectly, with clear love and care in each bite. The ingredients were incredible quality. I wish I’d thought to take photos of the food but we were too busy enjoying it! The restaurant is family-run; we were served by mother and daughter, while the father ran the kitchen, and a cousin was also on the floor. No wonder the atmosphere was so warm, lovely and inviting. The service was just so perfect. The dining room was completely full and it seemed as though everyone else was enjoying their meal as much as we were! Honestly, this place is a crown jewel of the Centro area. I HIGHLY recommend it to anyone looking for a wonderful meal in Rome. We will absolutely be back!

16/11/2025: Excellent service, very friendly staff, they even gave us blankets to keep warm. Excellent food, plentiful and tasty pici all'amatriciana, delicious panciotti with truffle (perhaps the portion could have been a little larger and it would have been perfect). Nice place... friendly.

15/11/2025: I can only say it's excellent. I think it's a magical place in a magical location like Civita di Bagnoregio. Thank you for everything, and especially for the quality and excellent food. My wife and I were captivated by your kindness and the old-fashioned flavors, served with class and elegance. I rarely eat like this, and in any case, we've been to quite a few restaurants, but if we return, we'll eat at Osteria al Forno di Agnese. Thank you.

09/11/2025: A pleasant restaurant near the Piazza di Spagna. The waiters are very friendly and speak French. They offered a complimentary limoncello as a digestif at the end. We went back the next day... We had dinner one evening in mid-November on the terrace with heated patio heaters (in Italy, that's still allowed; they know how to live in that country!).

The location is enchanting, the staff is exceptionally friendly, and the owners often come to the table to check the opinions of those enjoying their dishes. The wine list is amazing. If there is a God of Taste, then he lives here.
