With mushrooms on the side and a €66 beer.
All for €22.
It started out at €14... then a voice comes from behind the counter imposing €22... but on what basis, there's not even a breakdown on the receipt.
Prices are set out of kindness, come on.
The beer costs €3.50, and I know that for sure.
But two mushrooms with two pieces of fish cost €18.50 without water.
I hate writing this review.
If it hadn't been for the guy in the kitchen who randomly reneged on the price, I would never have written it.
But I pay, and I have the right to know what and how much.

11/11/2025: I visited this trattoria during the chestnut festival held in San Martino al Cimino in October. We hadn't booked, and we were lucky because, despite the restaurant being full, there were still two-person tables available. A dark-haired lady who greeted us at the entrance was very kind and helpful in seating us. The cuisine is very rustic and trattoria-style, just what we were looking for. The menu is quite comprehensive, with many dishes featuring porcini mushrooms and typical local products. We ordered the tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms and the tagliata with potatoes and porcini mushrooms: both were very good. The restaurant is located just outside the historic walls of the town, and reservations are highly recommended.
14/10/2025: Excellent trattoria, excellent chef, very knowledgeable and helpful staff. Great prices. I recommend you try it. I almost forgot about the excellent and generous dishes.

10/12/2025: I've been to this restaurant twice already. Once, I asked for the tasting menu, and the other time I chose freely from the menu. Both times, they were sublime experiences, featuring food made with high-quality ingredients, paired truly excellently. The wines offered by the glass are also top-notch. The service is also excellent.
10/11/2025: After having been there 2-3 times in the past where we enjoyed it, I chose to have my Birthday dinner there. Terrible experience this time. The service was almost non existent. Most of the staff were rather grim and hardly attended our table unless we asked for service. The big raw fish selection costs more than EUR 70,00 per person and for that price you should be able to expect a bit of service. I will not go back. There are many fish restaurants in Fiumicino. Stay away from this one. Overpriced and sloppy and without service.

The food is consistently good, and the wine selection is top-notch (don't expect 1,500 wines, but they're all excellent and perfectly suited to their cuisine—if you trust Sommelier Stefanelli). The cuisine is traditional, clean, and straightforward, with heartfelt, satisfying portions.

29/01/2026: Today we celebrated our reunion with friends at the pizzeria "Est! Est! Est!". It's a wonderful place for celebrations, gatherings with friends, or simply enjoying excellent Italian pizza and more! We ordered the lamb, and it was absolutely delicious! The service was top-notch, Grazie mille!
25/01/2026: We absolutely loved it! We went today with my family because it was close to our hotel, and everything was incredible. The pasta was amazing, the pizza was incredible, and the staff were all super friendly and helpful. We highly recommend the caccio e pepe potatoes with lemon as a starter, the carbonara, the diavola pizza, and the zabaglione dessert. It came to €20 per person, including one starter, five courses, two shared desserts, and two limoncello drinks.

16/12/2025: The decor is stuck in the '80s. The service is fast and punctual. Perfect for large tables. Roman-style pizza cooked in a wood-fired oven. Fabulous freshly fried food.
Excellent for a casual evening.

11/01/2026: Very disappointed by the very small portions of all the sauces and the fava beans. Compared to the norm in Greece, we're talking about a sample size. The quality of the flavors...well...
The main courses have good meat, but they're always a bit cheap; they're not the
traditional main course with lots of vegetables and lots of sides.
08/01/2026: Authentic and incredibly delicious Greek food served by super friendly staff. Probably my favorite meal of the whole trip!

04/01/2026: We had lunch there during our stay in Rome, and it was truly superb! We enjoyed a truly excellent Carbonara, perhaps one of the best. They're very accommodating if you have children, and the waiters are truly kind and helpful. We finished off our lunch with a superb tiramisu! I highly recommend it, especially for the unique style of the place. We'll definitely be back.
04/01/2026: The place is beautiful, very nicely decorated, definitely worth seeing. We only had a couple of beers and they were great, the service was very attentive.
