05/05/2026: We walked there from the Colosseum. We arrived around 1 PM, so the restaurant was very busy, but because there were plenty of seats inside (and outside), we were able to get in without waiting. We ordered one white pizza and one tomato pizza, along with some wine, and it came to less than €30. I would recommend it to anyone looking for good value for money.

17/04/2026: A cozy little spot inside an old cellar transformed into a comfortable and friendly atmosphere. A wine display. The service was kind and courteous without being pushy. The dishes were good, even elaborate, and the portions were well-balanced. The view was also pleasing. A good selection of wines. I chose a bottle of Frascati, 'Rebrum', which proved to be an excellent discovery. I highly recommend it. I recommend the appetizing appetizer of croquettes in cacio e pepe sauce. The first courses were very good, and I recommend the excellent swallow's nests. Among the second courses, the lamb offal stood out. An original side dish of marinated cabbage added a special touch to the main courses. I tasted the revisited tiramisu, notable for the biscuits drowned in an excellent wine, which gave the dessert a special aroma.

26/04/2026: I'll start by saying we only ate at the restaurant, so I can't rate the rooms. Dinner consisted of: 2 appetizers (artichokes were supposed to be included in the description, but they never arrived) with some local vegetables and a few poorly assorted cold cuts. 2 steaks, 600/700g (not weighed, so I'm not sure), simply grilled without any special seasoning or sauce. 1 wine for €19 Total €150 Homemade cuisine, bland and subpar service from one of the owners, and a spartan and unwelcoming atmosphere (the table hadn't been set, and given the low attendance, we had a table for 4/6 when there were only 2 of us). Compared to the past, the quality has dropped dramatically in favor of Michelin-starred prices. Not recommended

19/04/2026: The establishment is a bit dated, but the dining experience is excellent. The food is good and plentiful, and the ingredients are definitely top-quality, especially the appetizers. The staff is extremely kind and friendly. Recommended!

15/04/2026: If you are staying near the Coliseum or if you need a restaurant nearby after a tour (just a few blocks away), you must visit this restaurant. It is your quintessential Italian restaurant. The atmosphere is romantic and rustic. It is not very large. The service is impeccable. Our waiter, Tarek, gave us many food and wine suggestions. The wine pairings were perfect with the different courses. The ingredients were fresh, menu creative, and the wine selection is extensive. We highly recommend.

04/04/2026: Great Greek Food! We were a little afraid as they had to seat us in the basement, but it was very comfortable for our noisy big family to enjoy the bit of privacy after a long day seeing the sites of Rome. The chicken, pita, and potatoes were a big hit and especially with the kids. We argued over the best dipping sauces. You cant really go wrong. An english version of the menu might have helped but it was kind of fun interpreting the language.

21/04/2026: Recommended by a local, best steak we have had in a long time. Very little English spoken but able to communicate effectively. Full of local Italians and very reasonably priced excellent food. Will go again if in town!

31/03/2026: The food is typical Italian, with freshly made dough. The atmosphere is very pleasant, and almost all the customers are Italian, so the food is exquisite. The desserts and wines are also very good. I had tagliolini with pancetta and asparagus for lunch—delicious! 😋
