Refined, tasty dishes, top quality ingredients; very courteous, attentive and impeccable service; the owner always has a kind manner and the girls in the room are impeccable in everything. The location is warm and welcoming and it is a real pleasure to enter this Cloud of goodness, beauty and kindness every time.

12/12/2024: Il giorno della specializzazione di mio figlio, causa una serie di contrattempi siamo entrati al ristorante alle 14.20 e sono riusciti a farci pranzare ( tutto veramente squisito) in un'ora. Alle 17.10 avevamo il volo di rientro da Bologna. Fortemente dispiaciuti e preoccupati per noi si sono impegnati riuscendo a rendere la "mission " possibile. Un sentito ringraziamento

We spent a wonderful evening, the place is not large and is perfect for intimate dinners with your partner, we opted for the tasting menu and I must say that we were surprised and fascinated. The chef's work is incredible in using very simple ingredients, but which overall manage to convey emotions as it did for me. The staff was excellent in their service, they took care of every detail, they made you feel pampered and appreciated, we really enjoyed every single moment of the evening. I really congratulate you, the customer should not only consume good food at the table but should be treated as we were treated during dinner, you are fantastic! I recommend booking in advance!

07/01/2025: Personale accogliente , antipasto buonissimo e filetto accompagnato con un buon vino rosso ,e zuppa inglese buonissima. Consiglio vivamente per le famiglie e chi vuole gustare del buono cibo in tranquillità.

09/01/2025: We spent wonderful time in this restaurant. It has very cozy and comfortable atmosphere. The food was delicious, but be aware of large portions. Also, staff is very friendly and speaks English. The restaurant is crowded mostly by Italians. In my opinion, it’s a sight of quality. I would definitely recommend to go to this restaurant.

08/01/2025: We found this tavern almost by chance on New Year's Day and it was a real fortune! My partner and I tried the cappellacci and ordered them again as a second course... they were too good!!! Super friendly staff!!

09/10/2024: An experience to forget I recently had the displeasure of visiting a restaurant that, unfortunately, did not meet even the lowest expectations. The welcome was immediately cold, thanks to a grumpy owner who seemed more interested in making us feel uncomfortable than in offering us a service. We showed up at the restaurant after looking for a parking space, only to find that our table, which we had reserved, was not available. The reason? An alleged lack of confirmation on our part, despite having clearly communicated our intentions. His response, sarcastic and with a mocking tone, was almost ridiculous: it seemed more like child's play than professional activity. It's surprising how a place can be ruined by such an unwelcoming attitude. If the owner had shown a minimum of understanding and respect towards customers, perhaps we would have been able to appreciate even just a taste of the cuisine. Unfortunately, his rudeness made any form of appreciation impossible. In conclusion, I highly recommend looking elsewhere. There are many restaurants that treat their customers with the dignity and respect they deserve. Don't be fooled by appearances; good service is as essential as the food.

10/01/2025: Typical Tuscan restaurant in the center of Ferrara, excellent general quality of the products accompanied by a wine list worthy of a wine shop. Giampiero, the very kind, helpful and friendly owner, we always happily return to this restaurant. I highly recommend it

08/01/2025: I was on the evening of January 6th with my wife and a couple of friends with their daughter. I had heard very good things about this Trattoria and I must say that I was pleasantly satisfied with everything. I would like to point out that I am also from Maremma and even though I have lived in the Ferrara area for more than 40 years... I know a lot about Maremma cuisine. Furthermore, I discovered that the owner, young and very smart, is from Capalbio, practically a municipality close to where I was born and lived for twenty years. We ate really, really well. And also drank well, the excellent Morellino di Scansano which... I don't understand how in a previous review a customer complained about "poor wines" mmmaahhhh. Crostini, appetizers of mixed cured meats, Pici all'aglione, pici al Cinghiale and Tortellacci al Cinghiale meant that we were unable to eat anything else, given the generous portions to say the least. Sweet coffee and... A homemade liqueur offered by the owner... All this goodness at a very honest price. I think it will be a fixed stop. I forgot, kindness and courtesy of all the staff at the Top.

18/11/2024: Questo locale è davvero un’ottima scoperta. Abbiamo mangiato molto bene, l’oste molto preparato e gentile come anche la ragazza che serve ai tavoli. Tortino di zucca e bruschette con il pomodoro molto buono, strozzapreti alla rapa rossa con speck e porcini delicati e buoni, guancia con polenta squisita. Ottima proposta di vini. Ci torno molto volentieri

29/12/2024: Sometimes perfection is accidental, not for this place which, for the third time, did nothing wrong. Excellent quality food, in taste, preparation and presentation. I will return again and recommend it as the best in Ferrara.

14/01/2025: The dishes are really excellent, worth the wait. Unfortunately you cannot book, but I repeat it is worth the wait. Honest prices. Short waiting times between one dish and another.

08/01/2025: During a walk along Via delle Volte, we came across this family-run osteria by chance, and we were really lucky because we found exactly what we were looking for. The place is welcoming, with a warm and familiar atmosphere, even if they don't accept reservations, which makes the place quite busy during lunch time. The real star of the menu is the homemade pasta, which immediately won us over: we tasted the famous pumpkin cappellacci and cream tortellini, both prepared with a generous amount of filling and with an irresistible flavour. As a second course, we couldn't help but try the famous salama da sugo, accompanied by a creamy mashed potato, which completed our meal perfectly. To end on a sweet note, we opted for a homemade tiramisu, which did not disappoint expectations. The total lunch, water included, was €53, a more than fair price for the quality and quantity of the dishes. A wonderful discovery that we would highly recommend to anyone looking for excellent traditional cuisine in a familiar and welcoming environment.

24/11/2024: I was there with my family on a Saturday evening and, as the pizzeria was not active, we ate local dishes. In particular we tried the fish soup and my daughter the spaghetti with clams; all the portions were rich, beautiful but above all good and we have rarely left the table so satisfied. I leave another pleasant note to the final bill which I consider very competitive. Advised!

24/11/2024: Restaurant a few steps from the Estense Castle, a pleasant discovery, not very large but nice, they offer land and sea cuisine and on weekends also pizza, the owners are friendly and ready to satisfy even the most sophisticated palates and if you like spicy being the originators of the Calabria on request nduja, suitable place for groups by reservation only, on weekends almost always full. Recommended
