24/04/2026: A very, very tasty restaurant just outside Bologna! I recommend starting with their excellent cold cuts and crescentine (accompanied by the inevitable fried gnocco), finishing with the phenomenal fried cream. 😋 In between, choose what you like best... lasagna, tortellini, tagliatelle, garganelli, strettone, etc. You're truly spoiled for choice! Enjoy your digestion!
24/04/2026: I had higher expectations, but I have to say that the service was attentive and fast (even too fast, they seemed to be in a hurry). The fried crescentine were spectacular, not greasy, and flavorful. The cold cuts and pickles were below average. The grilled sausage was excellent, the rest was average, and the mutton was poor, thin and... a bit... stiff.
Superior dessert: the almond pudding was very good.
Price...adequate.

16/05/2026: This review is influenced by something that ruined the dinner: I was with my 10-year-old son, who was struggling to finish the cutlet, which was good, but the size of a pizza. The restaurant manager approached him (not me) and offered to pack it up for him to eat the next day, and he accepted. Despite the polite tone, we had the distinct feeling of being asked to vacate the table. So we paid and left.
Don't get me wrong; formally, the restaurant managers have always been very courteous. We just wish we could have finished dinner calmly. It was only 8:30 PM.
After a busy day, we weren't just looking for a place to eat, but also to spend time together. I thought it was the right place, but I was disappointed.

06/08/2026: Here I am! Another wonderful trip to the Bardi fortress (which deserves a separate review because it's so beautiful!), where we stumbled upon this lovely restaurant while walking. We were lucky enough to have lunch outside, under the beautiful (and cool) canopy of vine leaves 😍. The portions were just right, the food was authentic, and everything was homemade, for the various pasta dishes. The atmosphere was friendly and relaxing, as were the wait staff. We had a great time and were grateful, as always, to have found a little place that fed us and made us feel good. See you next time! Bye 🤩🥰

17/08/2026: Delicious food in Bologna, with gluten-free options. The restaurant is a bit hidden away in a courtyard. The restaurant was half empty, which made the atmosphere a little less vibrant. Service was occasionally slow, but very friendly.

The service isn't 5 stars, but 10.

12/05/2026: We had lunch after visiting the exhibition at Palazzo dei Diamanti, which is a short walk away. The welcome was courteous and professional, but not "stiff," and the menu was informative. The food was typical Ferrarese, tasty, and plentiful. The atmosphere was beautiful, with the option of a pleasant outdoor seating area. I recommend it. The price was fair.

27/07/2026: I used to go there often, the waiters were kind and smiling. Now the staff isn't friendly and the quality has gone down. What a shame!
05/07/2026: Food was pretty good, the place was a bit dark at the tables, the staff were friendly but unsmiling (it seemed like they were serving you out of sheer force and that you were a pain in the ass). Prices were a bit high.
