03/03/2026: We wandered around Vietri and stumbled upon this restaurant—a total find! The waiters were so friendly and helpful, showing us the fresh fish of the day. We opted for pasta and a seafood dish. The seafood pasta is the best I've ever had; just thinking about it makes my mouth water 🤤🤤 I 100% recommend this place.

01/03/2026: In Vietri sul Mare, there's this restaurant that gave us gastronomic experiences we hadn't experienced in a long time. Top marks. Well done, everyone. A little further down the tourist strip, but perhaps for that very reason, more authentic and traditional. We'll be back.

08/01/2026: I ate some meat, it wasn't good, it was very good, tender, you could cut it with your hands, the owner was very welcoming, a beautiful, relaxing place without chaos, a truly excellent wine, the very polite waiters know how to recommend what to eat, they put you at ease with each course, they explain what you're eating, but the thing that surprised me was the allergens, they wanted to know if we had food intolerances, it really makes you want to go back for dinner, I recommend everyone to go and eat there

19/12/2025: We came here on the recommendation of Marco, the owner of the historic mattress and sofa company nearby, and we have to say he couldn't have given us a better recommendation. The meat is simply exceptional: incredibly tender, flavorful, perfectly cooked, and of a quality that is truly rare these days. Each cut demonstrates attention, selection, and passion for the product. You immediately sense that there are no compromises here: only the highest-quality ingredients and a grill that enhances them to the fullest.

04/02/2026: Unfortunately, tempted by the positive reviews, we went here for lunch, which was a waste of time and money. It's expensive, and the pasta was very salty. The plate of pasta and seafood looked impressive, but there were practically no shells. The service was nice, but they were constantly arguing among themselves...

07/01/2026: The staff were friendly and welcoming, but the space was very cramped and the service was problematic (wrong dishes, very long waits). The appetizers were acceptable (quite expensive). The biggest problems were with the first courses: they weren't adequate, not so much because of the ingredients, but because of the preparation (the pasta was too salty and undercooked).

07/01/2026: A bit far to get to, at least for me, since I'm from upper Irpinia, but it's worth it. The place isn't very big, I think it can seat up to 50 people inside, and I think 30 outside. The food is all delicious, made with top-quality ingredients, all strictly local and home-grown. The two young waitresses who served were always smiling and helpful. The outdoor parking area isn't large, but it's adequate. I highly recommend this agriturismo.

29/12/2025: Simple, authentic, and traditional cuisine, clean atmosphere. It's a shame we caught a baptism and it was a bit crowded, but overall we had a good time.

25/02/2026: We made a reservation for lunch for two on Sunday, February 22, 2026. They relegated us to a dark corridor. The atmosphere was crowded and noisy. After a while, they brought us bread and water. During the unnerving wait, about an hour, I ate two baskets. We ordered a plate of spaghetti with anchovy sauce, very salty, overcooked, and cold. A turbot in a bread crust (there was only bread). A fish soup (no fish, just mussels and a few clams in a tasteless broth). A bottle of white wine (300% refill). The price was high for what we were given. We left disappointed and bitter about what we had expected. We definitely won't be returning. Not recommended.

30/12/2025: Eating in a lemon house has its own unique flavor. The atmosphere is beautiful, and Mr. Carlo, the owner, spent time with me, making me feel right at home. I found the various dishes very good, with carefully chosen and interesting pairings. Kudos to the staff: polite, kind, courteous, and very knowledgeable in explaining the dishes. I'll definitely be back!

30/11/2025: Make sure you walk back up to the lemon grove as you enjoy the fine food. We were greeted by the owner - Carlo - who personally set up our table for 6. DELICIOUS!! I bought his book of fine recipes and will email him a picture of my first effort. You MUST try his excellent restaurant. Paul (visiting from Wisconsin/USA). Hello Carlo DeFilippo - today (November 29, 2025) I made the Penne con Salmone e Vodka from the book that I bought from you and everyone loved it. You would have been proud of me. Your restaurant was our favorite. GRAZIE!!

16/11/2025: WHAT a discovery!! Just off the main pedestrian street in the town centre, from outside the place looks very small whereas they have a large side area so plenty of room. We went for lunch on a Sunday and we will visit again for sure!. Nello himself does the greetings (he is from Naples so the food is also Naples based) and is a very charming host, then a very happy lady came and took our order. We ordered food and drink and despite the number of customers the food arrived quite quickly. We both chose the "Genovese" pasta which is pasta in a special meat sauce and was totally delicious, plus a side plate of broccoli. Together with a carafe of the house red wine (which was also good) we spent a princely 23 Euro per head, EXCELLENT value for money for sure.

09/11/2025: We found ourselves in the alleys of Castellabate by chance and noticed this restaurant... the lady's welcome makes you feel right at home, and Mr. Nello's sweetness is the best. We ordered stuffed zucchini flowers and stuffed anchovies, oh so delicious. Spaghetti with clams and pasta and seafood beans were incredibly delicious, with fresh, quality ingredients; we had to mop up the sauce with the bread. I truly recommend it; everything was delicious.

22/02/2026: The first course was quite good and plentiful, the second course of fish was inedible. The fish soup contained 3 whole gurnards and lots of tomato with some clams. Some of the fish was raw and others were overcooked, terrible and bitter. Not only did they not change the dish, but they said it was my mouth that gave it a terrible taste, and besides, it's very expensive. For what you get and what you eat, it's terrible, terrible, terrible.

30/01/2026: The slow food here is truly slow, in the sense that even though the restaurant isn't very large, we waited 40 minutes just for some bread and a plate of macaroni with sauce, which isn't exactly ideal with a child. I would definitely return because the food is good, the atmosphere is well-kept and clean; if you can appreciate the details, you'll be amazed. In short, you're stepping into the owners' home, who, albeit in a "slow" way, will welcome and pamper you with this restaurant's fine cuisine. A fair menu at fair prices. P.S. Be careful, pizza is only available for dinner.

08/03/2026: Terrible experience. There was an illegal valet in the restaurant parking lot who was demanding money to leave our car. When we didn't pay, we returned to find our car scratched. We reported the incident to the owners of the restaurant Il Casereccio, expecting at least attention or a willingness to understand what had happened. Instead, their attitude was arrogant and completely indifferent, as if the situation were normal. The most disconcerting thing is that they seemed perfectly aware of this person's presence in the parking lot, but instead of distancing themselves or trying to resolve the issue, they downplayed and defended the situation. Such behavior toward customers is unacceptable. I won't return, and I don't recommend it.

03/03/2026: I've been to this restaurant twice. Homemade in name and nature. The food is excellent, and the quality is excellent. We waited a bit, but it was worth it. The staff were helpful, the atmosphere was rustic and clean.

07/03/2026: Had such a lovely meal here. Wonderful family run establishment. I would 100% recommend the cannoli. Can’t wait to go back and have it again. Also the nonna in all the pictures makes you feel so loved and cared for!

01/11/2025: High-quality ❤️ Fresh, delicious food, with attention to every detail. We've been twice and tried both tastings (sea and land), and everything was truly delicious! The service is excellent and executed with great care and refinement. The atmosphere is quiet and refined, a wonderful experience for those seeking good food and relaxation!
