30/04/2025: Amazing food and service! A definitive just visit!

30/04/2025: A small restaurant in an alley in Salerno's old town. It was nice to hear an exciting Italian song... The quantity is large and it is cheap. However, there was a lot of chewy sand inside the fried squid.

02/05/2025: Huge selection of meat and extensive wine list. Special mention for the Wagyu, not easy to find in the area. The Rubia Gallera is also excellent. Very respectable barbecue place, prices a little high but when you eat quality meat you take it into account.

10/05/2025: Very good cuisine, very fresh. Very pleasant outdoor patio. More than friendly service. The waitress gave us good advice for the next day's hike on the Path of the Gods. And even asked a cook to drive us home (there were 6 of us!) to save us a nighttime walk on the road! Never seen this anywhere else!

09/05/2025: I stopped there while driving down the Amalfi coast with my scooter and everything was perfect, fair prices, the bruschetta is simply amazing and the owners are very kind and accomondating AND the view is breathtaking, what eslse do you need! Ancora volta, grazie mille 💞

14/04/2025: Hicieron el queso mozzarella esa mañana, ¡y nunca he tenido algo mejor! La comida era fresca y tan deliciosa, que tuve los mejores tomates de mi vida! Tengo el pescado del día y mi marido tiene una pasta con salsa de carne. Ambos eran perfectos! Sus recomendaciones de vinos también estaban presentes, y las vistas eran absolutamente impresionantes. No puedo recomendar este lugar lo suficiente!

03/05/2025: Avoid this place at all costs! The service is horrible and I agree with the other views which say they seem to not prefer tourists. The food is over priced and the portion size is inadequate. Then they had the audacity to charge an eight euro tip for one place of pasta and one pot roast with no vegetables, just salty and oily bread. It's not worth 25 euro for a view you can't see unless your on the rail and mediocre food. The waiter never came back once after delivering the food and then we had to flag them down after our meal was completed for them to bring our check. Walk a little further to restaurant Vittoria. It's much better.

01/05/2025: First course with potatoes and calamari is delicious, as is the cod with asparagus. Unforgettable fresh fried potatoes! Average prices for the place. Service could be improved. Advised

29/03/2025: Beautiful restaurant, very quick service and probably the best pizza I have ever had. Lovely limoncello with many options - I would recommend the lemon cream. The experience was topped off by a beautiful cat to keep me company as I enjoyed my pizza.

07/01/2025: An unforgettable stay at the Pink Palace Hotel in Ravello! We have been drawn to Ravello for years - and for a very special reason: the unique sunrise concert. It is undoubtedly the most beautiful classical concert we have ever experienced. The atmosphere in the early hours of the morning, when the music plays and the sun slowly rises over the Amalfi Coast, is simply magical and touches the soul. Since it is always difficult to get tickets for this exclusive event, we are particularly grateful that we, as guests of the Pink Palace Hotel, enjoy a small advantage here. A big thank you goes to Antonio, who always takes great care of the tickets. This time we were also surprised with a special upgrade - a suite that left nothing to be desired. Fantastically furnished and with a breathtaking view of the Amalfi Coast, the stay was pure enjoyment. The hotel itself impresses with its location high above the coast. The view is breathtaking - you could just sit there for hours and enjoy the beauty of nature. But it's not just the surroundings that are a highlight: the entire Pink Palace team is extremely warm and attentive. The service is first class – a full five stars, without question.

06/05/2025: Had special of the day which was fish with pasta for 30€, a little bit pricey since the fish wasn’t very big but the pasta portion was massive. Similarly, we ordered pasta with crab and it was very nice but the crab meat was difficult to eat since none of the tools were given to us and in the end i only ate pasta and some loose pieces of the crab that I was able to get. In the end, not a lot of meat in those two choices but the pasta and sauces were very nice :) if we had time we would come back to try some other recipes definitely

18/05/2025: Newly starred in Campania (well deservedly so), but with a long tradition, which is proposed well outside the usual tourist routes, which would be enough to highlight the passion for cooking beyond the commercial operation. Salvatore Avallone offers essential cuisine, a perfect combination of apparent simplicity and innovation, with some "oriental" touches wisely placed, which never distort the flavor of the ingredients, but rather enhance them. Summarized in a comment by Federica, precise and prepared Maitre Sommelier of Cetara: "We present what we know how to do". There are two tasting menus available, basically seafood and meat, which vary by season, both very interesting (so a second visit is almost "obligatory"). Extensive wine list, with ample space for local and Italian wines in general, and with a good number of foreign wines. Few tables in the room, good separation and intimate environment: the furniture and tableware are commendable. Prices in line with a starred restaurant. Although it does not have a private parking, it is not difficult to find a place in the area if you arrive by car. An absolutely recommended restaurant, which is also worth a detour to visit.

11/05/2025: Si parla spesso di qualità del cibo, ma troppo spesso si danno per scontate le cose ancora più importanti : educazione , cortesia e mettere a proprio agio gli ospiti …. E’ il caso di ieri sera : io e mia sorella , selezioniamo questo ristorante per festeggiare il compleanno di mia madre . Purtroppo mia sorella a causa di coliche avute pochi minuti prima di arrivare non ci ha potuto raggiungere sperando fino alla fine di farcela . Entriamo e la persona che ci ha accolti , con fare saccente e arrogante subito ci redarguisce perché ci eravamo presentati in 2 e non in 3 senza avvisare prima . Poi ci fa pesare che non stavamo sceglievamo il menù degustazione e che ci faceva una cortesia a farci mangiare alla carta ( imponendo un minimo di 2 pietanze principali ) . Ci ha quasi “ lanciato “ 1 solo iPad per due ospiti ( le ho chiesto anche per accelerare i tempi se potevamo averne due di menu ‘ … ci ribadiva che era già tanto che ci faceva mangiare a là carte e quindi ho dovuto attendere che uno lo leggesse e scegliesse poi ho potuto farlo io … finita la polemica del menu degustazione , ha poi ha ripreso quella sul fatto che eravamo andanti in due e non in 3 fino a che , le ho fatto notare il modo in cui ci stava trattando da quando eravamo entrati e , data la scarsa accoglienza e la pesantissima atmosfera creata dalla ragazza di sala, abbiamo deciso di alzarci e andare via senza neppure cenare … la persona di Sala era riuscita a rovinarci il compleanno di mia madre a causa della insostenibile atmosfera di acidità arroganza e prosopopea da lei creata …

27/04/2025: The food was absolutely delicious. Our service was fantastic. We had that delicious pasta and a margarita pizza. We ordered the veggie plate and put that on the pizza and it was out of this world. I also had their house salad. It was huge and delicious. Their homemade bread was fantastic. We also shared one of their made in-house teramisu and it was so delicious .At the end of our meal they surprised us with a limoncello shot. It was so good and they told us they make it there. It's homemade. The cloth napkins and tablecloths and the beautiful view creates a beautiful ambiance. 5 stars, and a million! I also have to compliment the restaurant for providing a shuttle service that picked this up from our hotel. He was a marvelous driver navigating the narrow roads.

24/04/2025: Small restaurant just off the main street of Vietri. You eat well, you don't overpay: the first course (scialatielli with seafood €18) arrived in a baking dish, a generous portion and a very tasty dish. The second course, fried prawns, calamari and anchovies, was equally tasty. Highly recommended.

02/05/2025: The best place I have ever had the pleasure of being hosted in is not an ordinary restaurant, it's a visit to my aunt. The interaction with the staff and guests made me realize that Italy is something you cannot experience in other places

26/04/2025: I was given an excellent welcome on Saturday and I felt like I was going back in time with dishes that were used in Cilento 30 years ago with abundant dishes of excellent quality served directly by chef Antonio with the collaboration of his sweet wife, who recommends the daily dishes with always fresh products, both fish and meat, washed down with excellent wine from the hills of Agropoli, the old traditions of genuine dishes still exist.
