Each course was carefully crafted, with authentic flavors and quality ingredients that showcase the local tradition. The wine pairing was well thought out and made the experience even more special. The atmosphere was welcoming, and the service was attentive and professional. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a true gastronomic experience in Cetara. I'll definitely be back!

05/12/2025: We were guests at Hotel Poseidon and made a reservation at Il Tridente expecting a safe, professional dining experience. Instead, my family endured an incident that could have killed my son, paired with some of the worst behavior I have ever witnessed from a manager in hospitality. We clearly informed the staff that my son has a nut allergy. Despite this, they placed a starter breadbasket on our table with no explanation whatsoever—and it contained nuts. My son took a bite, unknowingly. Only 20 minutes later did a waiter return with a “nut-free” basket and admit the first one had nuts. We had not been told, warned, or advised at any point. I raced up the entire property—multiple elevators and several flights of stairs—to grab his emergency medication. Anyone familiar with allergies knows that within minutes, this mistake could have become deadly. My son’s life was put at risk because the staff failed one of the most basic responsibilities of a restaurant. But what made this experience truly appalling was the manager. His behavior was not just unprofessional—it was shockingly rude, dismissive, defensive, and outright hostile. As I explained what had happened, he repeatedly cut me off, raised his voice, and insisted his staff “would never” make such an error. He acted as if I was the problem for daring to bring up a life-threatening mistake. The waiter himself then stepped in and admitted the truth, proving the manager wrong. Even after being confronted with the facts, the manager still showed zero remorse. No apology. No concern. No accountability. Not even basic human decency while I was shaking and trying to ensure my son was safe. His attitude added a level of emotional distress that was completely unnecessary during an already terrifying situation. For a restaurant positioned as fine dining, this was an absolute disgrace. Mistakes can happen—but the way management chooses to handle them reveals everything about an establishment. And this manager showed a level of arrogance and indifference that is completely unacceptable in any setting, let alone one where guests’ lives are at stake. I will never return, and I strongly warn any family with food allergies—or anyone who expects even minimal respect or compassion—to avoid this restaurant entirely. No parent should have to fight with a manager while fearing for their child’s safety.

08/07/2026: Proof that, in Cilento, even when you get a little further from the sea, you can still find authentic Cilento cuisine. Excellent ingredients, olive oil tastings directly from their own mill, a wide selection of Cilento dishes, vegetables, legumes, cheeses, and wine. Everything is delicious at excellent prices for the quality. Fast service, young, professional, and friendly staff. They have a shop selling all their produce. Excellent dinner.

The menu was available in several languages ​​on the website. We had the braised chicken drumsticks with salad and fries, and stuffed eggplant. Everything was delicious and reasonably priced. 05/07/2026: A true hidden gem in Salerno! We stumbled upon this restaurant on our first night and loved it so much that we came back every night for the rest of our trip. The food was delicious, authentic, and incredibly affordable. I couldn't recommend it more to anyone visiting Salerno!

30/05/2026: Came in here in 2016, and returned twice in 2026 when coming back to Positano. The plating won’t wow you, but the taste has you coming back for more. The views are impeccable, and the fact that this family run is inspirational. There are so many flashy and flavour lacking restaurants in Positano - this spot bucks that trend. Simple, tasty and memorable. It’s a long hike up from the action, but absolutely worth it. Also, it’s always easier walking down than up after you eat - especially with a deliciously full stomach. 30/05/2026: Wow! Finding a non touristy place in Positano is not easily possible. While this is not touristy area their prices truly are but the food is so so amazing. Good - all items we ordered as vegetarian including dessert were wonderful. Reserved the nicest seats before you arrive Bad - they provide shuttle service to your place but we waited for 40 mins and nothing and then when someone shows up they didn’t take us because we are not on their route! We spend $120! And restaurant staff was not helpful at all.

06/07/2026: I believe this restaurant has new owners and a new menu and this is their first summer season under the new ownership. There is tons of potential here and I would return. I believe they are still getting used to the summer crowds and, though the restaurant is off the beaten path, it was busy and service could have used one more waiter. We tried stuffed pepper appetizers and the octopus. The octopus had good flavor but was just the tiniest bit tough. The stuffed pepper was delicious and different from other appetizers we'd had elsewhere. The pizza was amazing. Some of our crowd said it was the best pizza they had all trip. The pasta with the fish of the day was also the best pasta I think I had all trip. I loved it! The fresh catch of the day served acqua pazza style with fresh vegetables was also flavorful and delicious. The truffle ravioli was also very good and one of our guests said it was her favorite pasta she had during our trip. The tiramisu was very good. However, we had to wait for the Delizie al Limone dessert because the chef hadn't finished it (though it was after 9pm at night). It was good but slightly frozen in the middle (the chef had to flash freeze it for safety we were told). Overall, our meal was delicious and as I mentioned before, we would return. I think as the new owner and chef gets more experience, they have tons of potential and will get better and better. A few minor improvements would have made this definitely 5 stars.

05/07/2026: The food I will recommend the steak and seafood. Do not do the risotto and pasta they were not really good. However the staff is amazing. They are so great and pleasant. A sure winner in my eyes. That cheese salad also amazing.

13/07/2026: A fantastic evening! This restaurant is run by a young couple who put passion and utmost care into their customers. We had a family dinner, enjoying excellent dishes based on the freshest fish, accompanied by exquisite wine. From the tartare appetizer to the snapper with potatoes, the key was tenderness combined with just the right amount of crunch. Please note: I only uploaded two photos because the rest of the dishes were so good that we ate them right away, forgetting to take photos! I highly recommend this place to everyone.

05/07/2026: If you're looking for the authentic culinary tradition of the Amalfi Coast, this historic restaurant in the heart of Cetara is an absolute must. The atmosphere is unique, but the real star is the food: simply put, they serve the best seafood in the area. The freshest ingredients, expertly prepared dishes (the anchovy sauce is out of this world), and the flavor of the sea in every bite. Special mention goes to the staff, who are extremely kind, welcoming, and always attentive to guests' needs from start to finish. There are no surprises when it comes to the bill either: the prices are definitely reasonable and fair, especially considering the high quality of the catch and the historic nature of the place.

03/07/2026: I had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant, and the experience was truly excellent. We started with a selection of delicious appetizers: mussel sauté, scallops with turnip greens, and polenta with marinated anchovies, all prepared with fresh and well-presented ingredients. For my first course, I chose the Nerano, creamy, flavorful, and perfectly balanced: one of the dishes that impressed me the most. To finish, a truly excellent tiramisu, light and delicious. Besides the quality of the food, I also really appreciated the attentive and friendly service and the pleasant and welcoming atmosphere. I had a great time and will definitely return. Highly recommended!
