04/07/2025: 3 bruschetta with marinated shrimp 15 euros, but three mignon bruschettas. Waiter very sullen, without a smile and without words. Very expensive. There were 4 of us and we asked for mixed appetizers including tomato bruschetta and they brought only 1. But how do you do it?

23/06/2025: AWFUL EXPERIENCE DUE TO THE OUTRAGEOUS PRICE FOR THE SERVICE OFFERED! Totally unjustified price for the service offered… €120 for a beach umbrella and 2 sun loungers! The concrete strip on the rocks hosts just 20 beach umbrellas attached to each other, when they brought drinks to the guests of the beach umbrella next door they practically put them under my umbrella. To swim you have to dive from a ladder that is in the establishment next door (so you have to cross another beach) and to take a shower you have to go to the public beach on the opposite side (before midday you basically have to slalom between the bathers to take a shower), all this perhaps you can say is ok for the Amalfi coast and in part it is true, but not if I pay €60 per person!!! Plus the 15€ credit that obviously forces you to go to the restaurant unless you want to pay 45€ for a launch box that includes a water and a bruschetta of aubergines. The food in the restaurant is good, nothing to say, but honestly at least from my point of view, if I decide to go to the beach, I go for the beach not for the restaurant. Oh I forgot, if you come by land, you basically have to walk down from above Praiano!! Which involves something like 500 steps under the scorching sun. To conclude, the place is not bad and the staff very kind but the problem is the excessive price for a beach service that is practically non-existent, in fact, difficult! I saw the bathers of the public beach who were 5 meters away from me, they were bathing where I was and showering where I was and I felt like an idiot, because they had spent 0€ and I had spent 120€

10/06/2025: Beautiful place with the best views. The staff were excellent and went the extra mile for us by finding a better table for us after 10 mins.. I didn't get the managers name but he was very proffesional and our waiter Leonardo was wonderful. A great experience

08/06/2025: This was our last meal in Positano and it was perfect. Great ambiance, excellent service and food. Started with drinks and snacks in the lounge area of the terrace which was comfortable and beautiful. Then dinner outside with a gorgeous view- we were a party of 5 and they sat us at a round table which was perfect. Would recommend this for anyone looking for a dreamy Italian dinner!

11/06/2025: Excellent hosts. Great service. They dropped back by car one of us, since there was a an issue with knee. Good local food including catch of the day. We were back after 2 days, they even remembered our choice and style of cocktail. If in that area a must visit for dinner with hospitality rural Italian way.

20/06/2025: Upon arrival, we were put on a 20-minute waiting list; we entered after 50 minutes. We waited another 20 minutes before our dishes arrived. I ordered pasta with clams, and it was so salty it burned my lips. I can't recommend it. My partner did like his pasta with potatoes, so I'm giving it two stars. I felt cheated and will never return. We paid €40 for two pastas and a bruschetta.

18/06/2025: Awesome place. We came to Positano for our honeymoon and were able to get picked up from our hotel in Fornillo Beach (and back) for free. The food was great - we got the zucchini flowers, the pink sauce pasta, the bolognese and the citrus tiramisu. A great experience for anyone looking to dine outside the typical tourist circuit

18/05/2025: Newly starred in Campania (well deservedly so), but with a long tradition, which is proposed well outside the usual tourist routes, which would be enough to highlight the passion for cooking beyond the commercial operation. Salvatore Avallone offers essential cuisine, a perfect combination of apparent simplicity and innovation, with some "oriental" touches wisely placed, which never distort the flavor of the ingredients, but rather enhance them. Summarized in a comment by Federica, precise and prepared Maitre Sommelier of Cetara: "We present what we know how to do". There are two tasting menus available, basically seafood and meat, which vary by season, both very interesting (so a second visit is almost "obligatory"). Extensive wine list, with ample space for local and Italian wines in general, and with a good number of foreign wines. Few tables in the room, good separation and intimate environment: the furniture and tableware are commendable. Prices in line with a starred restaurant. Although it does not have a private parking, it is not difficult to find a place in the area if you arrive by car. An absolutely recommended restaurant, which is also worth a detour to visit.

11/05/2025: Si parla spesso di qualità del cibo, ma troppo spesso si danno per scontate le cose ancora più importanti : educazione , cortesia e mettere a proprio agio gli ospiti …. E’ il caso di ieri sera : io e mia sorella , selezioniamo questo ristorante per festeggiare il compleanno di mia madre . Purtroppo mia sorella a causa di coliche avute pochi minuti prima di arrivare non ci ha potuto raggiungere sperando fino alla fine di farcela . Entriamo e la persona che ci ha accolti , con fare saccente e arrogante subito ci redarguisce perché ci eravamo presentati in 2 e non in 3 senza avvisare prima . Poi ci fa pesare che non stavamo sceglievamo il menù degustazione e che ci faceva una cortesia a farci mangiare alla carta ( imponendo un minimo di 2 pietanze principali ) . Ci ha quasi “ lanciato “ 1 solo iPad per due ospiti ( le ho chiesto anche per accelerare i tempi se potevamo averne due di menu ‘ … ci ribadiva che era già tanto che ci faceva mangiare a là carte e quindi ho dovuto attendere che uno lo leggesse e scegliesse poi ho potuto farlo io … finita la polemica del menu degustazione , ha poi ha ripreso quella sul fatto che eravamo andanti in due e non in 3 fino a che , le ho fatto notare il modo in cui ci stava trattando da quando eravamo entrati e , data la scarsa accoglienza e la pesantissima atmosfera creata dalla ragazza di sala, abbiamo deciso di alzarci e andare via senza neppure cenare … la persona di Sala era riuscita a rovinarci il compleanno di mia madre a causa della insostenibile atmosfera di acidità arroganza e prosopopea da lei creata …

15/05/2025: During our trip we stopped at Mercato San Severino and bought our take-away dinner here: a delicious panuozzo nr. 26: buffalo mozzarella, yellow datterino, bacon km0, €12.00 cheese, pepper and some eggplant meatballs. When we got home a few minutes later we discovered truly unmissable goodness and quality.

15/06/2025: Table 59, Saturday evening of 06.14.2026, there are 4 of us, 2 of whom are children, the room is half empty, we place our orders, 2 pizzas for the children, for me a slice of meat and my wife ham and morsels, after 1 hour and 25 minutes my meat arrives cold, I send it back because it is inedible, they bring it back cold, the slice of meat is 70 percent fat, the menu said with rocket and parmesan flakes, but the quantity was very small, the parmesan was transparent and almost absent, when I finish dinner alone my wife's dish arrives, when she finishes the pizzas arrive, the waiters in the room are there but they hide from the sight of the customers, they only arrive to bring the bill and send you away, I notice a large influx for take-away pizzas, I think they prefer to send the external orders forward rather than the customers sitting at the table. Bad news that I will definitely not repeat.

22/05/2025: Per noi é stato come ritrovarsi con degli amici, tutto il personale simpatico e cordiale non si risparmiano nonostante il correre tra i tavoli dei clienti ad una chiacchierata, il cibo superlativo, tutta la pasta fatta in casa il pesce cucinato al momento , un angolino di profumi di Cetara che non puoi dimenticare con tutti i suoi protagonisti. Viola la Sig. dello spruzzo😋🤗

12/05/2025: On est arrivé dans ce restaurant conseillé par TripAdvisor et les réseaux sociaux. On a pas du tout été déçu le personnel très sympathique vous explique d'où proviennent leurs produits. Le papa fabrique ses pâtes maison, la maman cuisine ses légumes, le fils au service. Une cuisine très simple mais très parfumée pleine de saveurs. Les fameux "scialatelli alla colatura d'anchois" excellent !

16/06/2025: Stunning view. Good food. Nothing was outstanding or mindblowing but we had a great evening with beautiful view, friendly staff, quick service. For this kind of a place, it’s a bit weird that they don’t have toilet seats.

14/06/2025: We did not have reservations and they made it possible for us to eat. Everyone was kind and accommodating. I would full heartily recommend eating here again. Just remember to make reservations.

01/07/2025: It was fantastic. We were impressed. It doesn’t look like much but the service is great. The food is fantastic. The bathroom is clean. The kitchen is clean. The food tasted amazing. They are extremely friendly.

30/06/2025: A beautiful cafe serving Italian and brunch menus with a great coffee and drinks selection. The presentation of our dishes was immaculate and the staff were very attentive and friendly. The star hosts were the two dogs who welcome you and wander around without bothering you but you cannot help but bother them as they roam freely within the cafe. I loved everything about this cafe and would return the next time I visit Positano.
