28/07/2026: A truly positive experience. We spent a day at this wonderful facility. The staff were friendly (both in the restaurant and on the loungers) and, above all, the quality of service was top-notch. They are very attentive to various allergies and food intolerances. The dishes were very tasty and the atmosphere was welcoming. Special mention goes to the bar lady's frozen drinks!!! I recommend the salt-baked fish (filleted on the spot) to everyone.

28/07/2026: Great location, nice restaurant, terrible and rude service. They get two stars for refunding our money though, as we were almost kicked out after asking for different sunbeds than the ones we were allocated. We ended up going to the neighboring place, which welcomed us and where we had a great time all day 🙏🏻

09/08/2026: Spectacular! Away from the beach with unbeatable views! You escape the hustle and bustle of Positano's center, the tourists, and the unfriendly locals to find an authentic, wonderful place with incredibly friendly staff!

12/08/2026: A nice restaurant, just steps from the port of Minori. We had the mixed marinated seafood appetizer, zucchini scapece, and the famous ndunderi of the coast...which, however, I would have expected in a seafood dish and not just the more classic tomato-based ones. The atmosphere was nice, but the atmosphere at our table was stifling (it must be said, the atmosphere was unlike anywhere else in the city). The service was friendly and courteous, and everyone was very nice and smiling.

05/12/2025: We were guests at Hotel Poseidon and made a reservation at Il Tridente expecting a safe, professional dining experience. Instead, my family endured an incident that could have killed my son, paired with some of the worst behavior I have ever witnessed from a manager in hospitality. We clearly informed the staff that my son has a nut allergy. Despite this, they placed a starter breadbasket on our table with no explanation whatsoever—and it contained nuts. My son took a bite, unknowingly. Only 20 minutes later did a waiter return with a “nut-free” basket and admit the first one had nuts. We had not been told, warned, or advised at any point. I raced up the entire property—multiple elevators and several flights of stairs—to grab his emergency medication. Anyone familiar with allergies knows that within minutes, this mistake could have become deadly. My son’s life was put at risk because the staff failed one of the most basic responsibilities of a restaurant. But what made this experience truly appalling was the manager. His behavior was not just unprofessional—it was shockingly rude, dismissive, defensive, and outright hostile. As I explained what had happened, he repeatedly cut me off, raised his voice, and insisted his staff “would never” make such an error. He acted as if I was the problem for daring to bring up a life-threatening mistake. The waiter himself then stepped in and admitted the truth, proving the manager wrong. Even after being confronted with the facts, the manager still showed zero remorse. No apology. No concern. No accountability. Not even basic human decency while I was shaking and trying to ensure my son was safe. His attitude added a level of emotional distress that was completely unnecessary during an already terrifying situation. For a restaurant positioned as fine dining, this was an absolute disgrace. Mistakes can happen—but the way management chooses to handle them reveals everything about an establishment. And this manager showed a level of arrogance and indifference that is completely unacceptable in any setting, let alone one where guests’ lives are at stake. I will never return, and I strongly warn any family with food allergies—or anyone who expects even minimal respect or compassion—to avoid this restaurant entirely. No parent should have to fight with a manager while fearing for their child’s safety.

22/08/2026: I highly recommend this restaurant, not only for the excellent, fresh dishes and ingredients, but also for the kindness and professionalism with which we were treated. The waiters were all young, friendly, and approachable. I had the veal tagliata and was pleasantly surprised—one of the best I've ever had. For appetizers, we had a mixed house platter, and it was also delicious; the ingredients they produce are fresh and flavorful. Another very nice thing, which isn't often seen in restaurants, is the attention to detail: the glasses and plates were painted with images reminiscent of Paestum and the temples. The price was also in line with the quality. I highly recommend it.

16/08/2026: It's one of the best restaurants I've been to on my vacation in Italy. The food is delicious, the prices are very reasonable, and the staff are wonderful—very friendly and efficient. We've been there practically every day. 100% recommended.

15/08/2026: Nice staff with good English. Food was a bit bland and the seafood linguine special had just 2 prawns and few mussels lots of tiny clams with lots very chewy octopus. Fish & lemon Ravioli was much better. Cold drinks and desert was ok, tiramisu was a little dry but had plenty of cream. Cheesecake had a top and bottom sponge which meant less cheesecake unfortunately. One drink each main and desert €74. They charged us €4 for 4 slices of bread and charged us for tap cold water. But disappointed as on th Amalfi coast sort of so expecting some fantastic fish & pastas.

04/08/2026: A pizzeria in the center of Salerno, but located in a quiet spot next to the Church of Sant'Anna. Maybe it was because we were there in the evening for a birthday party on a muggy, hot day, but it was hard to breathe. We asked for fans, but they didn't have any, so it was a bit of a pain. The pizza was good, as were the appetizers, but the staff was rushed and unfriendly.

21/08/2026: A great seafood discovery! Welcoming place and incredibly fresh fish. The mussels were delicious, perfectly cleaned, and full of flavor. The spaghetti with clams deserves special mention: cooked al dente, creamy, and with the true aroma of the sea. The service was attentive and fast. I'll definitely be back! Also, Nello's friendliness was unparalleled.

19/08/2026: We went to eat at this restaurant after seeing enough positive reviews... sometimes the reviews are useless. Let's start from the assumption that when we sat down, our table was wobbly and we asked the older waiter to give us a hand with the table, he replied precisely: go move it in a moment, professionalism zero. We ordered 2 pizzas and 2 first courses... one pizza with raw dough, my risotto with white mussels inside. When we had finished eating, the older waiter comes over to us and offers us his hand saying: pass me the plate without even asking please/please. We were shocked by the treatment he gave us, I only compliment the guy with the bandana who served us for his helpfulness and kindness. I don't recommend it.

28/09/2025: Had a great experience. Got the lemon pasta, pizza and dessert. The lemon sponge was great and we got ricotta-stuffed pumpkin flower as a starter on the house as well as limoncello with the bill. Would recommend for dinner if you are staying in Scala, the staff was very kind and attentive.

09/08/2026: Found it by chance and it exceeded all expectations! The staff is incredibly kind, attentive, and always smiling. The dishes are amazing, but the scialatiello allo scoglio deserves an honorable mention: one of the best dishes I've ever had. You can immediately taste the high quality of the ingredients. I highly recommend it.

09/08/2026: I returned after a while and I have to reconsider the good things I'd experienced on previous occasions. The food has deteriorated, with dishes that are very average, if not below par. The dining room is run by two inexperienced young women. It's unlikely I'll return. 100% not recommended.
