23/03/2024: Where do I start?
Stefano (one of the four brothers who look after this restaurant as the fourth generation of this family restaurant) picked us up as part of the shuttle service that they offer to customers (to and from Amalfi) as the restaurant is located just a bit further away from central Amalfi. He gave us an introduction and background into the family run business and use of their farm produce.
We were then welcomed by Antonio (another brother) who served us throughout the evening and gave us a tour of the restaurant and showed us the terrace.
We ordered the Ciccio Tasting Menu and it was absolutely amazing. They are generous with portions and they also give bread on the side (complimentary). Antonio explains every dish clearly and is the most passionate person I've met when it comes to food. Ask him any question about the ingredients and the way its been prepped and he will tell you all the work that goes into it.
It was their first day of opening so wasn't too busy but it was a very nice place to have a lovely meal to celebrate an anniversary.
They then dropped us off back at our hotel in Amalfi and it was an absolute amazing dinner and evening.
Compliments to the chefs and team who made the whole journey from start to finish such high quality.

03/04/2024: Ivo recommended we come here for lunch while visiting Amalfi and he was absolutely correct! Ariana and our waiter (I'm so sorry, I wish I caught his name) took great care of us and were so friendly and attentive. It is tucked away on side roads away from the noisy bustling crowds of tourists, making for a perfectly quiet meal. For an appetizer, my wife and I shared the special of the day, which was a fresh bowl of mussels with a delicious broth of cherry tomatoes and capers. For my main course I had their hand made ravioli stuffed with ricotta and basil served in a tomato basil sauce. The ravioli was perfect and the sauce was so good I finished every last drop with the table bread. My wife had the grilled cod for her main. The cod was flaky and juicy and she was obsessed with the peppers served with it! If you come to Amalfi, you'd miss out if you didn't come here for lunch or dinner

06/04/2024: We stayed at the hotel in April and were very well received. Very friendly and welcoming staff. Comfortable rooms with a wonderful view. Nothing fancy, but everything done with great care.

05/04/2024: Yummy food and friendly staff - the prices comparatively to the rest of Amalfi were pretty reasonable. The homemade ravioli was delish but the portion was very small. The ‘Cartari’ special was delish and a better size. Great price on house wine too.
26/03/2024: The food was very delicious, we ordered Sciatelli Cartari, the macaroni and the Gnochhi, from worst to best in that order. The bread is very simple and comes included with the price of the cutlery, which is €2. The service could be improved, they are not very friendly but it took them very little time to bring the food and the dishes are medium/large. It makes up for the price, which is €3/4 less than the rest of the places we ate. 7.5/10 is my rating.

Absolutely lovely restaurant in a quiet setting away from the center crowds, heat and noise. We were eager for light lunch and they had just what we wanted…a delicious seafood salad…and a limoncello spritz! We hope to get back for dinner.

Super recommended.
If you are looking for accommodation, we can recommend Beautiful Guest House, from the same owner as the La Perla restaurant, located above the restaurant (the room with the terrace is gorgeous).

Absolutely avoid
06/04/2024: Late Thursday evening the three of us had dinner. We were the only customers in the entire place, but that only made our experience even better! We were warmly welcomed and all our wishes (like a blanket, as it was quite cold) were fulfilled! The food was phenomenal. The restaurant is a MUST for anyone in Amalfi!

The grilled fish (delicious from chef’s mum), seafood salad, gnocchi pesto, and seafood scialatielli were all awesome! One of the best meal!
27/03/2024: Frankly, you arrive and speak to you in German even though that is not your language!! Stop, we're in Italy, we speak Italian. Otherwise I'm going on vacation to the Canaries or Majorca!!
Dishes too salty and pork instead of the chicken ordered.

03/01/2024: Siamo entrati al Ristorante Il Tarì e siamo stati sistemati in una tavola sistemata in un'arcata accanto alla porta d'ingresso, quindi, praticamente in un corridoio di passaggio tra gli altri tavoli. La giornata non era molto serena e spirava un venticello frizzante. Avremmo gradito che la porta fosse chiusa, ma il Personale insisteva per tenerla aperta con il duplice intento di informare gli eventuali clienti che il Ristorante era aperto e, come da loro affermato, di "cambiare aria al locale". In gruppo per pranzo, abbiamo preventivamente ordinato una porzione di tagliatelle con sugo di pomodoro, poiché tutte le altre 14 porzioni erano previste con sugo di frutti di mare. Tutto ciò in teoria, poiché in pratica tutte le 15 porzioni di tagliatelle erano condite con sugo rossastro, apparentemente di pomodoro, ma alle 14 porzioni definite con frutti di mare era stata palesemente aggiunta dopo la cottura una cucchiaiata molto modesta di frutti di mare, tra le quali anche alcune vongole non in gran forma. Quindi, per farla breve, all'unica porzione con sugo di pomodoro sarebbe stato sufficiente non aggiungere i cosiddetti frutti di mare per ottenere quanto richiesto in precedenza. Per concludere, dopo lunga e penosa attesa abbiamo ottenuto quanto desiderato, ma con commenti poco gradevoli da parte del Personale. In definitiva, cibo dozzinale e poca cortesia da parte del Personale. Un consiglio: Amalfi si può gloriare della presenza di oltre 90 ristoranti, quindi la scelta rimane ampia.
03/01/2024: Ho pranzato in questo ristorante durante un tour di gruppo. Location accogliente, intima e comoda. Cibo buono dai sapori tradizionali. Personale celere e servizio molto buono.

The female server (owner?) was so helpful and friendly. She knew we had limited time and rushed through our order.
I had a delicious lasagne and my wife a very enjoyable margarita pizza.
I had a glass of house wine.
Can recommend this venue.

04/01/2024: Per cenare al volo va bene ma non di piu', antipasto di salumi con mozzarella ( al posto della mozzarella nel piatto ci siamo ritrovati una fettina di una specie di primo sale che non sapeva di niente , forse il tovagliolo avrebbe avuto più sapore..vergognatevi...almeno dirlo) sala con pochissime persone e il cameriere mi ha dato l'impressione che non vedeva lora che ce ne andassimo, il nostro tavolo ballava così tanto che credo nemmeno con un mattone sarebbe bastato per risolvere il problema. Da napoletano devo dire che la pizza era discreta.
Prezzo nella norma, ma troppo per quello che ci hanno servito soprattutto per l'antipasto di salumi,( una fetta di prosciutto , una di pancetta, 2 di salame e la magnifica mozzarella....secondo loro)
01/01/2024: We kwamen redelijk vroeg op de avond dus het was nog bijna leeg. Je zou denken dat ze dan de tijd hebben, maar niets is minder waar. Ongeïnteresseerd werden we geholpen. Bij een paar vragen word je afgesnauwd.
Het voorgerecht (antipasti) werd gelijktijdig met het hoofdgerecht (secundi platti) geserveerd. Pizza's van de kinderen volgden dan wel weer later. Pizza's zijn voor Italiaanse begrippen niet echt goed.
Vis en garnalen zijn droog en doorbakken.
Bresaola is taai.
Kortom, sla dit restaurant over!
