Fusillo felittese is renowned as a local specialty, but at Occhiano, it becomes a unique experience. The staff are friendly, always available, and the dishes are simply superb, reflecting the Cilento culture. Given its remoteness, I'm forced to visit sporadically, but each time I return, I make a point of returning as soon as possible.

A bit far to get to, at least for me, since I'm from upper Irpinia, but it's worth it. The place isn't very big, I think it can seat up to 50 people inside, and I think 30 outside. The food is all delicious, made with top-quality ingredients, all strictly local and home-grown. The two young waitresses who served were always smiling and helpful. The outdoor parking area isn't large, but it's adequate. I highly recommend this agriturismo.

Simple, authentic, and traditional cuisine, clean atmosphere. It's a shame we caught a baptism and it was a bit crowded, but overall we had a good time.

18/04/2026: Everything we ate was delicious, but we found the price a bit high (especially considering the quality-to-price ratio in the area). In any case, the staff was very professional and friendly, and the food was sophisticated and exquisitely flavorful. They also had a very good wine selection.
29/03/2026: A warm welcome. A Michelin-starred atmosphere. A fine wine list with some truly excellent selections. We let ourselves be guided by the sommelier, who recommended a very good local wine. The food was good, particularly the fresh raw scampi. The presentation could be more refined, with a greater emphasis on the quality of the ingredients.

Tramonto d'Oro

06/05/2026: Wood-fired oven, reasonable prices. We ordered two takeout pizzas and they were delicious, even cold ones at home. Even the "light" pizza made us blush, and it was good :D The Tramonto d'Oro 2.0 is definitely worth trying. We'll definitely go again.
15/04/2026: We stayed in Castellabate for 2 weeks and ate here 4 times. Every time we came it was fantastic. The pizze is great! Our two go tos became the Margarita and the Quattro Formaggio. Jerry was however one of the most memorable points to our visits, 10/10 waiter, kind patient and genuine. Great guy. Good food. Good atmosphere.
