15/06/2026: The welcome was spectacular, the wait staff was always attentive and available to meet every need. The food was expertly cooked, but the MILLEFFOGLE WAS AWESOME. The owners met us at the hospital when our children were born, and it was a wonderful evening, the food was divine... THANK YOU

03/07/2026: Recommended to go here by a waiter at the La Pergola bar. Big mistake. Seafood risotto had zero flavour, spaghetti vongole tasted like dish water and gnocchi also very bland. The fritto calamari had hair in it so they brought us out a new plate but it was super chewy so maybe they just refried it. The prices are cheaper than some places in Sorrento.

Authentic flavors, generous and perfectly executed dishes, prepared with quality ingredients and a great deal of love. In every dish, you can taste the respect for Neapolitan traditions. 16/07/2026: We had a very good meal at this restaurant. The welcome was pleasant. Quite a few tables were occupied. The only slight drawback was that we felt a little neglected. There were plenty of tables, that's true, but we still had to wait quite a while before they collected our empty plates, and we had to ask for the bill twice. Nothing dramatic, of course. It's a great place.

16/07/2026: Trattoria Da Carmine is a pleasant confirmation. The restaurant, renovated and refurbished in recent years, is truly beautiful and successfully combines Neapolitan tradition with a more modern style. The atmosphere is welcoming and refined. The cuisine offers excellent traditional Neapolitan dishes, carefully prepared and of high quality: the food is truly delicious. The prices are slightly above average, but fully justified by the quality of the experience. Kudos also to the staff, always friendly and helpful, and to Mrs. Adele, who welcomes guests with great warmth. I highly recommend this restaurant.

We felt really welcome here and the service was attentive throughout our visit. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for quality food and a pleasant experience in Italy. 02/06/2026: This is our second stay at Hotel Mary and we're absolutely thrilled. We're traveling with two children and are thrilled with the child-friendly service, something often lacking in Germany. The absolute highlight, however, is the breakfast manager, "Vincenzo" (I hope I spelled his name correctly). His communication skills are extraordinary and should become standard in all hotels. If he's not around for a day, guests immediately notice. This ability to connect with guests is a true gift. I've never experienced anything like it in any other 4-star hotel around the world. If I could, I'd hire him for our company right away!

This restaurant has been a Michelin-starred restaurant for years, but more recently the chef has gained considerable recognition thanks to social media and his authentic, local cuisine. The ingredients are top-quality, mostly from their own garden or local producers. The requirement to choose a menu is a bit limiting (but that's a characteristic of many Michelin-starred restaurants). The quality/price ratio is fair. The wine list is adequate, with markups in line with the restaurant's price range. The service is a bit too stiff. Everything is fine, but no wow factor.

03/06/2026: what a great find! we stayed in the village for 2 nights and this place was a minute from our house. we eat late after a day adventuring the Amalfi coast..it was a Tuesday and around 9pm but we were welcomed warmly and we had pizza, pasta, bruchetta, red wine and desserts! The night time view was amazing with all the twinkly lights over the bay of Naples and also down to Positano! Some place. Very reasonable prices too which was warmly welcomed after the prices in Amalfi town!!

30/06/2026: The view is fantastic from the window seats! Mixed opinions on the food from my group, but my pizza (and the other one ordered) was so tough, I couldn't cut it with a knife. Chewy, unpleasant and very little topping. Nothing like the pizza normally found in this area. Others in my group (who had pasta) enjoyed their food though.

I spent my wedding here all recommended by the dearest Antonella menu music (Gino very good) flowers everything went very well..: very clean room excellent breakfast what can I say if you want a perfect wedding and you don't want anyone to have something to say 😅 going to the Gabbiano is a guarantee ❤️

The hotel is beautifully located in Bacoli, offering a peaceful atmosphere and lovely surroundings that make it perfect for a relaxing getaway. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, with everything I needed for a pleasant and stress-free stay. The atmosphere throughout the hotel felt warm and welcoming. The staff were incredibly friendly, professional, and always ready to assist with a smile, making the experience even more enjoyable. Breakfast was fresh and satisfying, with a good selection to start the day right. Overall, Hotel Il Gabbiano exceeded my expectations in every way. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Bacoli, and I would definitely stay here again!
