07/04/2024: Small place with few seats between Mergellina and Posillipo. Kindness that goes beyond the exquisite Neapolitan canons. Very fresh seafood. The first courses may seem a little expensive but once you see the quantity of pasta on the plate you will change your mind. the price is ultimately in line with the dishes offered. If you are nearby don't miss it because you won't be disappointed.

03/04/2024: Appetizer was great. Caprese salad was amazing. The risotto was not. They served rice vice actual risotto. I've had risotto many times in my life and this was not.

The service and staff are suberb and the food was delicious The risotto is absolutely beautiful The anti pasti starter is lovely as are the meatballs Book ! Lots of people were being turned away ! Capacity is about 20 people

05/04/2024: Wonderful local place serving great pizza and pasta and other local dishes. The host was very welcoming. My son raved about his simple pasta with tomato sauce, my wife some lovely escalope alla Sorrentina and I wanted to eat a bit less but ended up eating a huge pizza Bianca with escarole.

02/04/2024: I had the pleasure of having lunch at the Veritas Restaurant on Easter day, opting for the "Authentic" tasting course consisting of 8 courses ranging from a welcome snack to small pastries. We were extremely satisfied with the dining experience offered by new chef Marco Caputi. The appetizer of cuttlefish tagliatelle accompanied with freshly baked bread was an excellent start: the delicacy of the tagliatelle with the hint of almond milk made this dish unforgettable. Followed by spaghetti with mussels and coconut which brought out the intensity of the marine flavour. Good, but less innovative, are the chicken, herring and thyme plinths. The brioche bread accompanied with lamb, turnip tops (in double consistency) and black garlic perfectly captured the spirit of Easter, offering a delicious combination of tradition and innovation. The pre-dessert was an unexpected surprise: a touch of freshness and originality that prepared the palate for the sweet conclusion of the dinner. The dessert, combining chocolate and chicory, offered a surprising and compelling combination of flavours, demonstrating the chef's mastery and creativity in creating unique dishes. The path of the small pastry shop has been equally remarkable, offering a variety of finely crafted and tastefully presented desserts. The presentation of the dishes was impeccable and the quality of the ingredients highlighted an attention to detail that is truly appreciated. In conclusion, Veritas Restaurant has proven to live up to its Michelin star, offering an authentic and memorable gastronomic experience.

With the recent rise of chef Marco Caputi to lead the kitchen, I had high expectations, which were not only met but exceeded. 06/04/2024: We reserved a table for 9 people by phone. When we arrived at the restaurant, the host immediately held the door open for us. We were warmly welcomed and shown to the table. The waiter is an absolute asset to this restaurant. He is patient, friendly, hard-working and attentive. The food was absolutely terrific. From the starter to the main course to the dessert, everything was highly recommended. The prices were cheap. This was the only restaurant that gave us a high level of positive satisfaction. All 9 people were thrilled. The price-performance ratio is unbeatable.

05/04/2024: The best service in Napoli. Everything homemade, if you are looking for something simple but delicious and abundant, this is the place, the exquisite gnocchi. The complimentary starter with mascarpone, also delicious. We didn't try the pizzas but the pastas 10 points. We spent less than 20eur per person with wine and dessert

06/04/2024: Do NOT go here if you’re alone! There was only one other couple sat on the outside tables but I was not allowed to sit at any of the others as they were for “3 or more persons”. The owner got his hand and shooed me away. As a younger female traveller I can’t emphasise enough how much this has knocked my confidence.

04/04/2024: Amazing atmosphere, service was superb. The staff were more than happy to explain the grape varieties and aromas in english. And I definitely recommend the cheese and charcuterie platter, super tasty and good value for money

07/04/2024: Tradition, courtesy, familiarity..... the true flavors of Naples! Special are the Genoese pasta, the pasta and potatoes, the fried anchovies, the broccoli, the bread and....... the pastiera! We will return without a doubt!

01/11/2023: If you're on holiday in Ischia, you shouldn't miss this pizza! The best pizza we have ever eaten. We've been raving about THIS pizza since 2017 when we first came here. Not only is the atmosphere great, but the staff is very friendly and welcoming. We're always happy to come back!
