10/06/2026: Excellent restaurant near Cigliè Castle. The view from the terrace is superb around 7:30 pm, and even though it was directly exposed to the sun, it was still pleasant. The menu includes a trio of appetizers, a first course, a second course, and a dessert, and in my opinion, it's a great way to sample local specialties.

12/07/2026: We asked friends for recommendations on where to go out for dinner, and they recommended this restaurant. It's a beautiful, romantic, and welcoming place. The staff were incredibly kind and knowledgeable, and the food was absolutely delicious. We started with the appetizers, which arrived without much of a wait even though it was a Saturday. We ordered both pizza and panuozzo, both delicious and made with high-quality ingredients. A great place to keep in mind.

07/07/2026: Searching online for a place to eat, we came across Gisella's. What can I say? It was the perfect choice! A family-friendly atmosphere, attentive and caring staff, truly excellent food, and...a breathtaking view! Highly recommended.

01/07/2026: We came back to this restaurant because it left a lasting impression on us… 10 years ago. The only thing we clearly remembered? The portions. Absolutely, ridiculously, almost scientifically oversized. 😂 Happy to report… nothing has changed. One plate of pasta is easily 500g or more. If you leave hungry, it’s probably your own fault. Inside, the restaurant leaves a lot to be desired. It’s genuine Italian kitsch, with a décor that seems to have ignored every design trend of the last few decades. And somehow… that’s part of its charm. The food, however, is in a completely different league. We had 4 primi (first courses, pasta), 1 secondo (main course), 1 contorno (side dish) and 5 Fiori di zucca ripieni di ricotta (zucchini flowers stuffed with ricotta)… and those stuffed zucchini flowers deserve a standing ovation. Simply spectacular. The bill came to €160 for 5 people. It isn’t cheap, but considering the quality and the portions, it’s very fair value. Come for the food. Stay because you’ll need an extra hour to recover from the portions. We’ll definitely be back… hopefully after we’ve digested this visit. 🍝😂

28/07/2026: I went there 3 times and always asked at the cashier to have a take-away pizza, blonde, that is, not burnt underneath. But for the umpteenth time they didn't care at all, very burnt black, half of it thrown away. Furthermore, that black burnt from the unclean oven is acrylamide and is carcinogenic.

28/07/2026: The pizza was overcooked and overpriced - pizza and beer €22.00. I won't be returning.

14/07/2026: The prices for the starters were exorbitant, and they weren't as tasty as they were advertised on social media. The prices for the buffet starters were also very rough. The waiters also showed little attention to the customers. In short, a terrible experience. I won't be returning, unfortunately.

12/07/2026: I went to lunch with my husband, encouraged by the well-known name, but we were disappointed to find a lack of staff management, distracted waiters who barely brought a bottle of water to the table, not even a wine or a Coke, no presentation whatsoever...nothing. Annoyed and distracted, no silverware on the table... barely a tablecloth!!!! So I wonder, aside from the high prices, and sure, we were aware of that... but at the end of the bill, an extra €6.50 for service???? Service for what??? What would I have done first, just to go get plates and silverware from the kitchen? Never again! Highly not recommended.

04/07/2026: We wanted to try all the appetizers, and we ate very well; everything was excellent. The fried food wasn't greasy at all, and everything was quite digestible. Highly recommended! The staff was kind and welcoming!

16/06/2026: I came to this restaurant in September 2025. One of the best pizza I had so far! Perfect crust, perfect amount of ingredients, fresh and flavored. However, I was disapointed about the chicken used for my salad. Seemed frozen and had no flavour at all. While dinning alone the staff made me feel comfortable. Everyone was very friendly and the atmosphere is chill, highly recommended. House wine is great too and the desert to die for! Update a year later (2026): The pizza was as delicious as the very first time and when I asked for my favorite desert the waiter initially said they run out of it. But, he made his best and came with it in the end, which made my evening! It was my last day in Napoli and I really wanted to have a Baba before leaving. The Caprese salad was delicious and really fresh. I will definetly return!

30/05/2026: Small and chaotic, it also has a fairly large outdoor area. We got a good takeaway margherita. It was a bit small for the price but it was fine. It's on the street behind the seafront. The service is also very fast.

28/06/2026: We ate wonderfully; the anchovies were spectacular, the zucchini flowers were excellent, and the mozzarella balls were excellent. The pizzas, both the sausage and broccoli rabe and the tomato one, were excellent. The owner was very helpful and friendly, and the prices were fair.

16/06/2026: The owner is very nice, and Spacanapoli is a place I really like. I really didn't want to leave such a low review, but I had a severe allergic reaction after eating their cuoppo. I'm only allergic to stale seafood; fresh seafood doesn't bother me. I ate seafood for several days in Positano and Amalfi without any allergic reactions, but after eating their cuoppo, I immediately started itching. I initially thought it was just a little stale and the itching would subside, but the rash is still there and itching is ongoing—something I've never experienced before. Although it didn't feel so stale when I ate it, the symptoms really make me question the quality of the ingredients. Perhaps it's because I went close to closing time and the food had been sitting for a day, so the quality wasn't as good. They really need to control the quality of their food. ------------------------ Regarding the restaurant's reply, I respond as follows: Why are you so arrogant in your replies to every negative review? I already said that if it were just a normal allergic reaction, I would have just let it go. I developed a lot of red rashes on my upper limbs, and it's still itchy after six days. If it were insect bites, I would have to be surrounded by insects to get so many rashes, so how could I not know? Besides, the itching started immediately after I ate your Cuoppo (a type of seafood allergy treatment). Seafood allergies are instantaneous. I ate seafood for several days in the past few days, both raw and cooked, without any discomfort. It was only after eating at your restaurant that I started feeling unwell. You usually use inferior ingredients to fool customers with strong immune systems, and they're lucky they didn't encounter any problems. This time, you think you were just unlucky because I wasn't fooled, without any reflection or introspection. You even made a customer apologize! Have you ever apologized for a bad review? Do you show even a hint of remorse for what is clearly your fault? These are irresponsible restaurant owners who only show arrogance and blame customers when they have food problems. I won't go back. I was initially going to give you two stars out of politeness, but with this attitude, even one star is too much.

24/05/2026: A truly beautiful place. The atmosphere was truly excellent, welcoming and very comfortable. The service was excellent, with very respectful and helpful waiters. The food was delicious, perhaps a bit too elaborate and heavy, but very tasty. I would go back!

10/05/2026: The tagliatelle with asparagus and guanciale weren't a bad location, well-made and flavorful. I can't say the same for the burger, which was overcooked and lacking in juice. The price-quality ratio was average. I hope it goes better next time. Cheers Best regards

18/07/2026: We were very disappointed with our experience. We received dishes we didn’t order, and when we pointed it out, the staff insisted that we had never ordered what we originally requested. On top of that, two of the appetizers we ordered never arrived, yet we were given the bill charged the dishes never came and without anyone noticing or apologizing. The spaghetti was also far too salty and not very enjoyable. To make matters worse, the restaurant was extremely hot because the air conditioning didn’t seem to be working. Overall, the service was disorganized, the food was disappointing, and the dining experience was far below our expectations.

03/08/2026: A truly awful experience, a huge disappointment: initially, a warm welcome at the bar in a beautiful room, but once the order was placed, we were ushered into a drab and soulless dining room! The tasting menu was TASTELESS; none of the five courses had any flavor. The buffalo mozzarella was rubbery, the calamari tagliatelle bland, the spaghetti soup sickening, the red mullet overcooked, and the desserts unworthy of any restaurant whatsoever… Frankly, a complete culinary rip-off! Not to mention the over-lit, depressing dining room with its kitschy decor… In short: this is not a gourmet restaurant at all, except perhaps in terms of price! I absolutely do not recommend this place, especially at €400!

28/04/2026: A giant, good-quality wagon-wheel pizzeria. They only make three types of pizza, but they're made according to tradition. The place is small, and the service is basic but fast and friendly. The price is €10 per pizza, regardless of the type.

26/04/2026: The pizza is delicious, but there are only three options to choose from. The service is terrible. They charge €2 per person per table, and you drink from plastic cups. The restrooms are terrible. I don't recommend it; you can find better options for that price.
