27/06/2025: This is my second stay at the hotel and we stayed 3 nights, we were very well looked and everyone was very helpful. Very worthy of 4 stars.

27/06/2025: The hotel is in a nice location in Vico Equense, where there are some nice restaurants and much quieter than nearby tourist spot Sorrento. Also provides a convenient base to explore the likes of Sorrento and Naples by train. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful but the rooms were somewhat basic and not too quiet. Thin walls and thumping music from a local club somewhere near the port didn’t help (the latter not the hotels fault to be fair). A few additional ‘luxuries’ might bump this rating up higher perhaps, given the hotel rates. Little luxuries don’t cost much but can make a big difference to the overall experience

10/06/2025: Among the many, indeed very many, options in one of the central historic streets of an always marvelous Naples, this place, recommended by a local, surprised us with its speed, the kindness of the staff and the excellent and numerous options of typical Neapolitan cuisine. Everything we ordered was of excellent quality, I recommend it.

14/06/2025: WELCOMING AND SERVICE 10 EXCELLENT FOOD AND REALLY EXCELLENT QUALITY I FINALLY GET TO TASTE THEIR SPECIALITIES A BEAUTIFUL AND GIANT FRIED PIZZA TOMATO PROVOLA FROM AGEROLA CRACKLINGS AND RICOTTA SOMETHING SPECTACULAR AND A PLEASURE FOR THE PALATE, NOT TO MENTION THE FRIED FOODS, THAT IS THE CLASSIC PASTA FRITTINA WITH STRINGY CHEESE MEAT IN PIECES BÉCHAMEL AND PARMESAN A REAL PLEASURE AND ALSO THE SPECTACULAR CROQUETS. AS SOON AS I PROPOSE THE TRIP TO NAPLES I WILL KNOW WHERE TO TAKE PEOPLE TO EAT. TO RETURN WITH SO MUCH PLEASURE

28/05/2025: Location overlooking the sea, beautiful view and quiet place, very kind staff, really satisfied with the abundant and tasty first courses we took the spaghetti alla nerano and the other scialatelli with seafood something truly exceptional, I highly recommend it.

26/04/2025: The best pizza I had in Naples of all the restaurants visited. They make it with a wood oven, I ordered the truffle one and it was delicious. The dessert was also very delicious, with cheese and pistachio. Excellent service and cleanliness of the premises.

23/06/2025: Lovely crab pasta and fried anchovies. It's a weird place because it's upstairs from what looked like a closed shop, and it was almost empty when we went there. But the food was excellent and not too expensive. Recommended!

19/05/2025: I packed a portion of beef offal with tomatoes, which was delicious! The tomato flavor was very strong, and the amount of beef offal was also large, which was very suitable for Chinese stomachs. The default spiciness was average.

29/06/2025: I practically went there on foot, I didn't believe that 2 steps from Posillipo there was such a good pizzeria. Light dough, honest price compared to the quality (a few euros above the Neapolitan average)

05/06/2025: A truly fantastic restaurant in Naples. The view from the terrace alone is worth the visit. The food is of the highest quality. They work with an extreme variety of flavors. I have to admit, I was a bit overlooked by it. For me personally, a little less would have been more.

21/05/2025: Atmosphere: 4/5 Service: 3/5 Food: 1.5/5 for that level Wine-pairing: 1/5 for that level Price: 1.5/5 As a couple who loves eating at & trying new Michelin Star restaurants, we even fly to other cities just for the restaurants - regularly. We have to say, this was by far the weakest experience - even weaker than many “Michelin recommended” restaurants - & we cannot understand how they received the star, nor can we recommend it for fine-dining. In detail: The restaurant is located on the top floor of a 5* hotel with a great view - even on Mt. Vesuvio. Interior is OK hence 4/5 points. Service was friendly & willing, but neither cordial nor insightful. The sommelier seemed not too knowledgable & couldn‘t share much about the wine. The pairing itself was by far the weakest we’ve had & the wines themselves rather boring, simple, seemed too young & not balanced. (E.g. a Chardonnay, that doesn’t taste like Chardonnay; a cocktail, where they wanted to show creativity, that we really could not drink, etc.) Food was ok but ordinary. It lacked the common sophistication & refinement that Michelin Star restaurants usually have. Some dishes were really boring & others too crazy without being balanced (& we’ve had desserts with garlic elsewhere that were amazing etc. - so we’re open to that). Neither were they balanced within themselves nor amongst each other. Also, it was simply way too much food - esp. on the carbs (e.g. bread course in the middle of the menu - right in a row with risotto & pasta & after we’d had 1x bread at the start already). On the neighboring table, we heard the woman say “I’m so full I can’t eat anything anymore” & the waiter responded “well, you have five more dishes to go”. Is that really the point of fine dining? They couldn‘t really handle the glutenfree menu either - despite having asked before & despite them having reassured us several times at the beginning of the dinner! To give examples: they served beer (as one course of the wine-pairing) - if we hadn‘t asked about it, it would‘ve been too late; bread crumbs as a topper on one dish; don‘t even want to know about the sauces. In a restaurant on that level we do expect - especially when asking several times beforehand - that that is doable. Last but not least, the price of 250€ for the 9-course menu & 145€ for the wine-pairing is everything but justified for this experience. Overall, maybe there was something we missed / didn’t understand in the menu. Though for us, we are going to stick to the many other fine-dining & Michelin Star restaurants there are.

12/06/2025: The best restaurant I tried in the city. The food is simply amazing (best parmigiana I ever had in my life), service is extremely friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended!!

09/06/2025: Decent food, bad owner. Four of us ate, ordered pasta for everyone and a salad. There was no difference between the two pastas. The tomato sauce was delicious. The price was a little higher than the rest of Naples, but decent enough. One of the waiters spoke Spanish (although it's not a plus if we're talking about Naples, because it's perfectly understandable). The place inside is small and a bit cramped. The bathrooms were decent, with water and toilet paper. The owner was angry, or maybe that's just it, we're not entirely sure, but she wasn't friendly. When it came to bringing the bill, they took too long. The bill was handwritten on a piece of paper, and oh! Surprise! Suddenly, the card reader didn't work. Without any concern, they told us to go and withdraw money, saying they had no internet coverage. Everything became chaotic, and the staff was no longer friendly. Finally, we went to a nearby bank to get it over with and leave. If you ask if they accept card payments and they say yes, it should be. It's a problem with black money all over Naples, and a lot of nerve ruins your dinner. I wouldn't go back for the service, but it's not worth going for the food either.

28/06/2025: Always come here when in Sorrento, just for cheeky beer and cocktails this time. Simply stunning, believe the food to be very good too! Must do if in area

15/06/2025: The restaurant La Torre is located in one of the most suggestive and panoramic areas of the peninsula. Excellent food, the most prepared with local products, the family management perfect in the service. For a lunch or dinner in complete relaxation, good food and excellent company, not to be missed! May 2025, After a year here I am again at the Torre, found kindness and breathtaking view but no longer the care of the dishes, disappointing appetizer and first course, salty bill. I hope it was just a bad day.

10/06/2025: For our last meal in Italy, we ate at La Torre. My family was so exhausted after a great vacation that we almost skipped dinner and ordered a pizza, but I am so glad we didn’t. We had an incredible dinner at La Torre. From the time we arrived to the time we left, they treated us like family! The food and wine were great. Plus the views were amazing! I would highly recommend.

12/06/2025: It is located next to Porta Capuana in Naples, you can eat well and it makes excellent mussel soup, average prices, go there, you won't regret it, ask for Domenico, he will be able to satisfy us with everything

22/06/2025: FANTASTIC!! Everything was amazing . Chianti, grilled octopus with vegetables, dLasagna, ravioli with truffle in cream sauce, Came back 3 days in a row !! We call it “our place !!”

02/07/2025: Highly recommended. The quality was spectacular, as was the service. We ordered fish and seafood with pasta, which was excellent. We were a group of eight and had a great time. The local Kratos wine was very good.
