Osteria Da Peppino
Pompei
29/06/2025: Our order was taken, but two dishes were unfortunately completely forgotten, even though the order was entered digitally. The food was quite good.
14/06/2025: I liked the place, the place is nice and has tables inside and outside. They were a bit slow and the food was too spicy. Too much pepper on the genovese and also on the gnocchetti. The parmigiana, the seafood salad and the land trio were good. I think they are a bit expensive in terms of quality/price ratio though.

Umberto
Napoli
16/06/2025: We went to Umberto’s upon a friend’s recommendation and we had such a lovely evening.
This family restaurant (3rd generation if I’m not mistaken) is proposing classic Napoli’s cuisine with family recipes on the menu. It’s the best food we’ve had in Italy so far: tasty, fresh, delicious!
Massimo was very attentive to all guests and did help us select some dishes for the special occasion.
The staff was super nice, present yet discreet throughout the diner.
I highly recommend and we will return next time we are in Naples.
13/06/2025: For an occasion, excellent experience.

L'Olivo Gourmet Restaurant
Anacapri
22/02/2025: Dining at L’Olivo at Anacapri was nothing short of an exceptional culinary experience. From the moment we stepped into the elegant surroundings of this Michelin-starred restaurant, we were enveloped by a sense of refined luxury and genuine warmth that set the tone for the evening. The ambiance is a perfect blend of modern sophistication and island charm, providing a tranquil backdrop to what would become a memorable gastronomic journey.
The experience began with a warm welcome from the staff, who immediately made us feel at home. As we were seated, we were introduced to our server, who provided a detailed explanation of the menu. Chef Migliaccio’s passion for his craft is palpable in every dish. His commitment to sourcing the finest local ingredients and transforming them into culinary masterpieces is evident in each bite.
Each course was meticulously crafted, with flavors that were both complex and harmonious. The dishes were not just food but a work of art, each beautifully presented and with a story that spoke to the region’s rich culinary heritage. The standout dish was undoubtedly the blue lobster, paired with a delicate citrus emulsion that highlighted the freshness of the sea. Every course was a delightful surprise, showcasing Chef Migliaccio’s creative genius and deep respect for traditional Italian cuisine.
The evening was further enhanced by the expertise of Vincenzo Riccio, the sommelier. His knowledge of wine is nothing short of extraordinary, and his ability to pair each course with the perfect wine was truly impressive. Vincenzo guided us through the wine list, which featured a stunning selection of both local and international wines. His recommendations were spot on, each glass perfectly complementing the flavors of the dishes without overpowering them.
The service throughout the evening was impeccable—attentive without being intrusive, and always delivered with a smile. The team at L’Olivo ensured that every aspect of our dining experience was flawless, from the timing of each course to the seamless wine service.
In conclusion, dining at L’Olivo is more than just a meal; it’s an experience that engages all the senses. Chef Andrea Migliaccio’s culinary artistry, combined with the expert wine pairings by Vincenzo Riccio, made for an unforgettable evening. Whether you’re celebrating a special occasion or simply want to indulge in some of the finest cuisine Capri has to offer, L’Olivo is a must-visit destination. We left the restaurant not just satisfied but truly inspired by the incredible craftsmanship and passion that goes into every detail.

Da Nello TakeAway
Sorrento
15/06/2025: Honestly, I did not expect to like this place as much as I did. Food was spectacular and flavorful! It’s a nice restaurant outside of the main center here in Sorrento. We are glad we came across this place 🙂
11/06/2025: The best pizza in Sorrento. Seriously. And the service is excellent.

Antica Pizzeria del Borgo Orefici
Napoli
21/06/2025: Loved this place, totally unpretentious place in a side street by the university. Staff very friendly and the pizza was 10 out of 10. Definitely worth a visit.
20/06/2025: The pizzas are incredible! Good quality, very good price. Being outdoors, there are some flies, which fight with you to eat your pizza.
Recommended.

08/07/2025: Charming Italian restaurant where pasta dishes are plentiful.
The carbonara is excellent, and the prices are reasonable for the location 😊
07/07/2025: Ok, nothing special. Pasta was descent, but not mindblowing.

Ristorante La Pergola
Procida
04/07/2025: Amazing experience dining under beautiful lemon trees. The food was great from the mixed starters to the pasta with palamita to the desserts, everything was excellent. I highly reccomend this place if you are in Procida
03/07/2025: First of all, let's say hello to the beautiful and very nice girls who spent almost the whole evening with us, Galia, Rosaria and Giulia, daughters of the owners and employees of the place who cheered us up during the evening.
The place is very special, under a wonderful pergola of lemon trees.
The dishes they offer are really interesting with special combinations.
We were able to immediately appreciate the quality and freshness of the food, really tasty dishes, from appetizers to desserts. I recommend you try the mezzelune and for desserts the babbà with ice cream and the decomposed cannoli, we are not in Sicily but I guarantee you that it is something exceptional.
A must for those who come to Procida, a highly recommended place.
The only sore point will be the bill but it is worth it.

La Madrugada
Napoli
Ecco come fanno i soldi oggi
06/04/2025: Update March 2025 (at the bottom)
A place for connoisseurs. You won't find the usual Mexican/Spanish tourist cuisine, but typical traditional dishes cooked with the same local recipe. The owner (if you know how to get it, he's a very nice and knowledgeable person) boasts thirty years of experience in South American cuisine on site and does it out of passion. The menu is particular and the products are top quality. The paella (if you want to try his) you will have to book it and not on Saturday because he "only cooks fresh products and the original paella needs 3 hours of preparation". La Madrugada is a culinary experience and as mentioned above is for connoisseurs. The environment is quiet and very small (3/4 tables) so booking is mandatory. The prices are quite high but it can be worth it in terms of value for money.
Update March 2025:
I confirm that the quality of the place, the freshness of the products and the goodness of the cuisine requires a review of the organisation: in the place there is only the owner and the helper (who however only takes care of the kitchen) and it is the owner who manages the orders, table service and preparation of the dishes, this significantly slows down the arrival of the dishes resulting in you having to wait almost two hours to finally be able to taste the paella; A waiter is necessary to manage orders, especially when you have to explain the dishes on the menu, serve at the tables, welcome customers: it is unthinkable to do everything alone because it inevitably takes time away from preparing the dishes and the wait becomes very long and sometimes unnerving. So you are warned, you will eat well, but the wait will be long

A Cucina Di Mamma
Napoli
06/07/2025: Positive experience. Good food, traditional Neapolitan cuisine, excellent price compared to the dishes, quality and quantity. Negative note:
The outdoor seating is under a closed gazebo with fans that make it seem like you are in an air fryer. To be improved with a more cutting-edge structure and properly air-conditioned in winter and summer.
06/07/2025: During our short stay in Naples, we found ourselves having dinner in a typical Neapolitan restaurant, the elegant but familiar atmosphere, in particular Jeremia welcomed us, followed us and advised us in a sublime way, very pleasant even to exchange some chats.
The exceptional cuisine from the fish to the pizza everything was perfect.
Excellent value for money.
We will definitely be back 🥰

Pizzeria Antonio e Gigi Sorbillo
Napoli
05/07/2025: The pizza was delicious, and I actually liked the Margherita pizza more than the fried pizza. The place was cool inside with good air conditioning, and the food came out quickly after ordering.
05/07/2025: Best pizza in Naples by far, service is hit and miss but they’re a super busy restaurant so I get it! It can be a little hard to get a table so come early as there is often a line! Overall 5 star for price and food quality! 💕

29/05/2025: Today, May 29, my celiac husband and I went to this wonderful restaurant for lunch and we couldn't help but write a super review.
I'm attaching the photos of our fantastic lunch 😍😍
We ate everything gluten-free and we highly recommend it to everyone 🥰👌 truly fabulous food in addition to the breathtaking view
When you don't know where to go to eat, go here ... you'll be surprised ☺️
Michela & Rosario
02/05/2025: After a few years we returned to the Da Caliendo tavern and this time I didn't like it (much better when it was facing the square), perhaps it was the fact of wanting to imitate the master chef's gourmet dishes but more than anything else you pay dearly and you leave fasting, tiny but very expensive dishes (in fact a couple next to us was complaining), in the end it was time to get home and we were still hungry.
Conclusion: I won't go there again.
