14/08/2025: We went for dinner for two, having an appetizer, two first courses, a second course with desert, and two beers. All in all, we spent €75, a great price for fresh seafood. The shrimp cocktail and pasta with mussels and beans were highly recommended, and the fried fish was also good. The staff was welcoming, and you could tell the chef loves his job. We ate deliciously and had a great time!

02/08/2025: Very good, homemade food, a family atmosphere of an Italian osteria where everyone knows each other and greets everyone warmly, and a jug of house white wine at a great price. I'd go there every day.

21/08/2025: Unfortunately, Il Buco does not live up to its Michelin star. The food seems passionless. We opted for the “I trust you” menu because we wanted to see what creative dishes the chef would come up with. Instead, we just got random dishes from the menu. Nothing about the choices was inventive and we honestly would have saved money if we ordered those dishes directly. The initial appetizers were very bland — and so while we were initially interested in the wine pairing, we switched to just ordering a bottle since we didn’t feel like the pairing would live up to our standards. It also felt unorganized - we had about 3-4 different servers all at once. Above all, it was a fine meal. But it doesn’t deserve the amount of money we paid. I wouldn’t go back.

However, we were seated in a back room, which unfortunately lacked the same refinement and ambiance, making it feel more like an ordinary restaurant rather than a Michelin-starred establishment. Service timing was uneven. The amuse-bouche was brought out immediately as we sat down, which felt rushed, while the starters followed only after a 20-minute wait. The food itself was acceptable, but it didn’t meet the high expectations one typically has for a Michelin-starred experience—flavors and presentation were fine, but not remarkable. The staff were friendly and polite throughout the evening, which we appreciated. However, the overall service fell short of Michelin standards. Several small but important details were missing: dishes were occasionally served without explanation, no one asked about our wine preferences, and there was a lack of attentiveness in areas like cleaning the table properly between courses. Another distraction was the sound of the dishwasher during our meal, as staff began cleaning up for the evening. This detracted from the atmosphere and made the dining experience feel rushed and unfinished. In summary, while Il Buco offers a pleasant setting and friendly staff, the overall experience did not live up to Michelin-star expectations. Key elements in service, timing, and attention to detail were lacking, leaving us with a sense of disappointment.

04/07/2025: Splendida serata sul piccolo, ma accogliente, terrazzino nel pieno delle bellezze di Napoli. Personale cordiale, affabile, ma nello stesso tempo di altissima professionalità. Servizio ed atmosfera perfetti. Marcello, il proprietario, come se lo si conoscesse da sempre. Viviana, la chef, attentissima alle esigenze di ogni cliente, nel parlare dimostra tutto l' amore e passione con cui affronta il suo lavoro. Prepara piatti nei quali esalta i sapori di prodotti di altissima qualità. Esperienza molto positiva e che mi sento vivamente di consigliare.

20/08/2025: We stopped at Decumano 31 during a day in Naples and couldn't have made a better choice! The restaurant, located in the heart of the historic center, offers limited seating, but the atmosphere is authentic and welcoming. We tried several specialties: fried meat, chicken piadina, fried pizza with sausage and broccoli rabe, and seafood cuoppo. Everything was simply delicious. The chicken was perfectly spiced, with a unique and well-balanced flavor; the fish was incredibly fresh, with a flavorful but not overpowering cod; the fried food was impeccable, dry and crispy, truly executed to perfection. Special praise goes to the friendly and helpful staff, who made the experience even more enjoyable with their attentiveness and courtesy. A place that captures the true essence of Neapolitan street food cuisine, not to be missed!

This is A must EAT when you are in NAPLES.The taste of Fried Anchovy is out of this world SO fresh. We also had Mixed fried seafood and it was Amazing. Trust me you don't want to miss.What I also liked they have price shown exactly on menu unlike others that they sometimes trying to add up the price on tourists. We end up going here two days on the roll. GREAT Guys,Best service,Great food and drinks! Highly recommend everyone to visit and try it yourself! I'll be back my friends! 💕

28/08/2025: The space was spacious and airy, the atmosphere was upscale, and the pizza was delicious. However, even though I deliberately visited during an off-peak time, the staff was rather indifferent. The food prices were generally 2-10 euros higher than other restaurants. When I paid, they asked if I wanted to tip, but it wasn't worth it. I experienced the incredible magic of receiving 12 euros for a margherita, 15 euros for a tasso pizza, and 38 euros for a bottle of water. They didn't even give me a detailed bill.

28/08/2025: Our starters (octopus for my wife and scampi caprese for me) were succulent, truly delicious. The main courses (low-temperature beef for my wife and Brazilian tagliata) were also very good. The service was excellent: friendly, fast, and... Well served and at a very reasonable price. I recommend it.

02/08/2025: Yeah, this is such a great pizzeria. The food is so delicious (especially the dough). The service is extremely friendly. They gave us a bottle of red wine even though we only ordered two glasses (€2 each). It feels very authentically Italian! There are only Italians around, of all ages, and everyone loves it! We're currently on our fourth pizza, not because we weren't full, but because we found it incredibly delicious and reasonably priced! Highly recommended. I wish all the employees at this pizzeria only the best :))

12/07/2025: The food is always excellent: the capocollo and porchetta are delicious. The service is efficient: the staff is always quick and attentive. The atmosphere is friendly and convivial. Every time we visit Ischia, it's a regular stop.

14/07/2025: Wandering around here on Google Maps, I noticed this osteria thanks to its reviews, and I took a chance: I was right. We were pleasantly surprised. The place is cute and welcoming, and the staff is truly kind and helpful. The waiter was very thoughtful in advising us not to order a second course, given the appetizer and first course, and indeed, with these two portions, we were satisfied. The bruschetta and bruschettas are a bit salty, but overall, it's highly recommended, especially the house appetizer and the seafood scialatielli!
