07/08/2024: If you like a family atmosphere you should definitely go there. From starters to dessert, the food is traditional and simply delicious! In addition, the prices are still very pleasing and in my opinion even too low. But there is no pizza there...

07/08/2024: Great value food in Pompeii - family run restaurant which offers simple but effective food. A good option if trying to avoid some of the pricier restaurants in Pompeii. Meat, fish and pasta have all been very good, and lovely service!

08/07/2024: I came across this trattoria quite by accident because it is not in a very prominent place. Pizza Primavera was solid, but the portion of squid was very meager (I doubt anyone could get enough of that). The waiters are very cordial and direct.

31/07/2024: Good morning we went to this farm based on the reviews you obviously don't understand anything about food. I'll start by saying that the place is beautiful and very clean, very slow service, let's move on to the main thing the food, cold cuts appetizers from the butcher, small and tasteless mozzarella, aubergine parmigiana sent back sour, let's move on to the first courses, risotto with canned mushrooms very salty and trofie with old vegetables, second course of meat, old sausage sent back plus two other pieces, 1 full of fat and to finish, 4 menus of 40 euros, coca colas paid separately or the reviews are false or you don't understand anything about local food, never again They also didn't apologize for the acidic food we sent back.

07/08/2024: On the occasion of a family dinner we returned to 53 and confirmed the excellent traditional Neapolitan cuisine. Angelo, the owner, guided us in choosing the starters and first courses and it was all excellent. A particular note goes to the aubergine parmigiana and the Genoese ziti, an explosion of taste, quality and abundance. The seafood appetizers are also worth trying for their goodness and freshness.

28/07/2024: Meating was one of the highlights of our stay in Sorrento. Tucked back on one of Sorrento's oldest streets it had a secluded feel while being just feet (or meters 😂) away from one of the main shopping/tourist streets. Google maps worked beautifully in getting us there with no problems. We made reservations but it was not crowded so you might get away with getting seated without reservations. The atmosphere was old world cozy. The wood fired pizza oven and wine racks occupying the space just inside the doorway added to the ambience. Our server was warm, friendly, and helpful. Our daughters (20 & 22) both had pasta dishes and raced about how good they were. The Gnocchi Sorrento and a pesto pasta dish were excellent. My husband and I splurged and ordered the Tomahawk Steak. Zero regrets! It was HUGE and prepared PERFECTLY. It arrived on a gigantic cutting board and had been sliced and surrounded but several vegetables: carrots, grilled zucchini, eggplant, sauteed broccoli (that must be a different variety of broccoli than what is commonly used into the U.S., more like a spinach, so yummy), roasted sweet potatoes, and more, all delicious. Thankfully the girls helped us eat it all or we would have never been able to finish. Chocolate Souffle and Berry Cheesecake topped it all of! Delicious! Wait staff and owner were so welcoming. We even took turns with the owner showing our dog photos and took selfies with the pizza chef! Highly recommend!!

18/07/2024: The food was delicious. The pizza was fluffy The steak we got was medium rare and it was cooked to our standards. Very friendly staff Christian knew the menu very well and was very helpful and attentive. Highly recommend this place.

13/07/2024: HI! For these omelettes, croquettes and pizzas it is worth reaching Capodichino (just outside the center of Naples), because they are truly crazy! The informal and homely environment (and the excellent prices) will make this pizzeria and chip shop your favorite place to spend an excellent evening; in short, a stage that will truly enrich you🌹

14/07/2024: Very nice restaurant and a great outdoor area. There is enough parking space. The food was very tasty and the portions were decent. While I was putting the food down, the waitress came across my glass and it was spent. Does not matter. What I found just a shame was that there was no new water.

27/08/2024: The food was very good, we had Ricciola carpaccio as a starter. As mains we had the fish of the day, Wild Sea Bass all'acqua pazza, it was amazing. Tagliatelle ai Gamberi (prawns) also amazing. The sides were good. Very nice and romantic view at sunset. The staff very professional, friendly and they know everything about every dish! We spent little for the quality of the food, for the service and for the ambience. Well done to everybody!

26/08/2024: Top restaurant Excellent staff I have eaten in many restaurants....but I left this one enthusiastic, I ate the spaghetti with sea urchin, a dish cooked in a simple but excellent way!!! An explosion of flavor. For second I ordered fried calamari...another surprise!! Light, dry frying and the squid were covered in a cascade of vegetables cut into strips and always fried in an excellent manner!! I will absolutely return and I wholeheartedly recommend it, a top evening, compliments to the chefs, waiters and those who manage the restaurant!

09/08/2024: During my holiday in Naples, I had the opportunity to visit several pizzerias, but "La Locanda del Grifo" really made the difference. The pizza here is something unique: every bite tells of the quality of the ingredients and the passion they put into it. The staff was very kind, taking the time to explain to me every single ingredient used, an attention that I really appreciated. The atmosphere of the place is welcoming and relaxed, making you immediately feel at home. And I can't fail to mention the quality-price ratio, which is really excellent. In a city where pizza is already incredible everywhere, this pizzeria managed to exceed my expectations. Without a doubt, when I return to Naples, it will be one of my first stops. Sincere congratulations to all the staff!

12/08/2024: During our holiday in Ischia we had dinner at this restaurant twice. Careful dishes, explained very well by the staff, very attentive service and all surrounded by a spectacular location, sitting on the terrace facing the sea. Absolutely not to be missed is the lemon crumble which won us over for two evenings.

08/08/2024: An interesting and atmospheric establishment, beautiful view and decent cuisine. If it weren’t for the mosquitoes that bit all my legs and even managed to “get” through my clothes, it would have been absolutely wonderful.
