14/02/2026: The place is really hidden and it was hard to get to, but it was nice inside. One of the waiters who served us was nice, but the otherone was very rude. The food took ages to arrive and although it was tasty, it wasn't worth the price for the quantity or quality. I left here very angry, late, and hungry. A disaster!

14/02/2026: On the menu, the dish I chose was described as featuring vegetables with different textures due to the cooking process. Despite the high price, I decided to order it—a terrible decision. I received five steamed lettuce leaves, which I had to repeatedly ask the waiter for oil and salt to give them any flavor. He forgot, and I ended up eating them plain. The "sharing" dishes are listed as such on the menu, but then they charge double. It's ridiculous. Horrible.

05/02/2026: Wonderful experience on a Thursday! Fennel pie appetizer was simply delicious in every way! Full of taste along with a cheese pie to complement it. Square spaghetti was so different and delicious- we savored every bit! Cavatelli with.cod and tomatoes was superb and savory! Just a great delicious experience ! Molta Bene ….Gratzie!!

11/10/2025: We stayed at Borgo la Tana during the two central weeks of August. The property is beautiful, with well-kept gardens and spacious rooms—ours, a mini-apartment—with a small table and chairs outside to enjoy the cool evening breeze. The rooms are extremely clean and practical, equipped with drying racks, handy soap dispensers for both shower and hand soap, and a wall-mounted hairdryer. The entire staff was very friendly, from the cleaning ladies, always ready with a smile and ready to "fix" the mess on the beach, like sand and pebbles everywhere, to the waiters, who were also present but not pushy. The cuisine is varied, with both local and non-local meat and fish dishes, and there is a discreet and efficient restaurant manager who oversees the main meals. The property's true treasure, however, is Mr. Aldo, a man in love with his homeland, provided us with information on the main beaches to visit and any special offers available at the resorts, right from the first evening. He also provided pocket-sized brochures to take with us to reach our desired destinations. Finally, a special mention for the self-service breakfast we enjoyed every morning: homemade cakes, traditional pastries, fresh figs picked every morning, and honeycomb! 23/09/2025: We arrived as guests for a few nights. The rooms were excellent, clean, and the air conditioning worked well. On the first evening, we enjoyed dinner in the restaurant. It was tidy and the service very friendly. For us, it was very bright, which perhaps made the atmosphere a little less romantic. You can clearly see what you're eating. Both the tuna and the swordfish were overcooked and dry, but that might be due to the Southern Italian way of preparing them. For hotel guests, there's a breakfast buffet next to the pool. When we arrived, we thought it was a sandwich shop, but you can point to what you want and it's brought to you. Again, the service was very friendly. Swimming caps were required for the pool, an old Italian tradition we've encountered less and less frequently, this year only at Borgo La Tana.

29/01/2026: On a business trip, I visited this restaurant as a guest of a local supplier: excellent food, a beautiful atmosphere, a vast selection of wines, and attentive service. Definitely recommended!

07/01/2026: Highly recommended, lunch on January 5th was excellent. I highly recommend it. They didn't give us a menu with prices, but we had no unpleasant surprises; the quality of the food and service was excellent for the price. Thanks to the owner for the orecchiette pasta made for our baby, they were truly delicious. The ravioli with creamed peppers were delicious, and the cod was delicious, with a very balanced flavor and fennel sauce. Go there, it's top-notch cuisine!

28/12/2025: I'd love to tell you how the food is, but we couldn't even get in...even though the place was completely empty, the owner was getting ready to smoke a cigarette, and the waiters were all folded...it was completely booked! You wouldn't think they have a welcoming attitude!

23/02/2026: Beautiful location, both outside and inside, very clean and well-organized (including the bathroom). The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. The view from the windows is spectacular. We had lunch on Sunday, six adults and six children. Various starters and main courses were all delicious and tasty. The entrecote with porcini mushrooms was particularly good, especially the medium-cooked steak, cooked to perfection. The service was very fast, and the prices are very competitive compared to my area in Puglia. I would definitely recommend it to anyone.

24/02/2026: We organized a lunch for my mother's birthday. There were 20 of us. The lady who runs it is super nice and helpful. She can't wait to tell you about the animals and the countryside in general. She shows so much passion and love for nature. The food was very good—the cured meats were particularly good, and the meat and eggs were few. All the ingredients were produced on site. The agreed-upon price seemed consistent with what was offered.

01/01/2026: Wonderful experience at this agriturismo! The owner, Rosalba, is a wonderful person: kind, welcoming, and helpful. We had dinner and slept there on December 31st. The food was authentic and the service was courteous. The breakfast was high-quality and attentive to allergies/intolerances. The room was clean, cozy, bright, and quiet, surrounded by nature. A unique peace! The animals are beautiful, and you can tell they love them and care deeply! We'll be back as soon as we can! ❤️ Thanks again!

20/09/2025: We walked up without a reservation and were seated right away. The waitress was excellent as was the food. We had the fresh fish of the day and split it between us. It was worth the money.

05/01/2026: MAGICAL ATMOSPHERE I went to this restaurant to celebrate New Year's Eve with my partner and friends. I must say it was a wonderful experience: the venue was very elegant, the staff were polite and friendly, and the food was well-cooked and carefully presented on the plate. It's definitely a high-end restaurant, so I'd suggest white gloves for the waiters to further enhance its luxury, and I'd suggest playing some background music during dinner. But these are just suggestions; honestly, I have no complaints, and I'll gladly return.

23/10/2025: Food is indeed interesting, some meals were not my cup of tea but a nice experience. Getting the bill took quite some time. They had a problem and apparently had to write everything by hand, didn’t receive a real bill. Strange is that they made a mistake with the bill and they “calculated” the amount with 28€ more on top. I usually never check but decided to do this time. Keep this in mind and check your bill when you go there.

It all began about 25 years ago, even professionally, for Lucanian director Giampiero Francese, who returned last year to direct the Cinespettacolo "La Storia Bandita" in the Grancia Park of Brindisi Montagna.

17/02/2026: My partner and I spent a couple of nights here while visiting Matera. The property is family-run and staffed by kind and professional people, who also provided us with useful information about visiting the city. The room was well-appointed with a desk and refrigerator. The bed and pillows were comfortable, and we could easily adjust the temperature (we didn't experience any problems with cold, humidity, or mold, as I've read in other reviews). The breakfast (we requested vegan breakfast in advance) was delicious, and we also appreciated the variety of organic products. I recommend it both for its location in the center of the Sassi of Matera and because the experience of sleeping in a cave is a must!

21/01/2026: The rooms are quaint and typical of the area. Each room tells a story of who once lived there. For those who are used to it, there's no TV in these rooms—at least mine! Which makes everything more authentic.

16/02/2026: Very nice, charming rooms with classic furnishings. Breakfast was excellent, offering everything from savory to sweet. The desserts were made entirely by the owner, who was also incredibly kind. What can I say? A wonderful experience!

06/01/2026: We stayed over New Year's Eve. Everything was very quaint, the room was wonderful, inside a beautifully furnished stone building. We had a wonderful time, from the welcome to the comfort of the building, with a dream view as soon as you step out of the room. Highly recommended.

25/11/2025: The welcome was nothing to write home about. The only flaw was that the waiter chose the food for us, and we ended up only having an appetizer and a main course. It was very disappointing. The food was nothing special.
