We were there a while ago. We had a truly wonderful meal at Taverna Ristorante La Contadina Sisina. The cuisine is authentic, prepared with quality ingredients and the authentic flavor of tradition. Each dish exudes passion and care.
An added bonus is definitely the owner, who welcomes guests with great kindness, warmth, and attention, making you feel immediately at home.
A place I recommend to anyone looking for excellent cuisine and a family atmosphere. We highly recommend it. Bravo, Sisina

A quaint place. The owners are helpful and the staff are incredibly friendly. The place is clean and welcoming. The cuisine is traditional, everything is rigorously prepared in-house, with homemade pasta and everything is incredibly fresh. The quality is top notch. Definitely worth a try!

In the village where Carlo Levi lived. Wonderful place. La Contadina Sisina serves homemade cuisine, everything fresh and prepared with love and culinary tradition. Perfect.

Our mistake--we didn't see the prix fixe menu posted anywhere, the waitress wouldn't/couldn't tell us anything about the menu, and we only had 1 hr. They did accommodate a vegetarian in our group...sort of. Got the first appetizer courses and the house "wine," and a fruit dessert as an afterthought since we had to leave before the main pasta and meat courses. But the bill was full fare, 35 euros each regardless. Like I said, our mistake for not leaving before service--we figured we were already there and it would be an "experience." But the food and wine we were served was their mistake--mediocre. As was the billing. Can't recommend.
