We ate at the outdoor tables, a pleasant atmosphere, spectacular fried anchovies, cruschi peppers, and a super black sandwich with octopus! The girl at the tagoli was lovely.

18/11/2025: We stumbled upon this restaurant in the historic center of Matera by chance, and I must say we were lucky after having rejected at least four other restaurants that didn't inspire confidence in our search for local, homemade delicacies. Excellent welcome from the kind and attentive waiter... We don't know his name, but he was Venezuelan and exuded great empathy and professionalism. Excellent, authentically Lucanian and homemade food, as shown in the attached photo. Cavatelli alla Lucana and Lucanian sausage. Ash-crusted potato. We recommend it. Valerio & Francesca
