15/02/2026: Excellent food, unique dishes, and a very elegant and beautiful venue. The pizza is also good. We'll be back.

08/02/2026: Came for a nice dinner at 8pm and we were met outside by a nice waiter with a wonderful mustache! He brought us inside and we were given a nice table for 2. Amazing cave-like atmosphere. We had 3 people taking care of us. A beautiful lady (could be owner) explained the wines and we order a nice dry red from her recommendation. Another waiter opened and poured our vino and it was perfect. Then our mustached friend took our order. Started with a nice buffalo margarita pizza - cooked to perfection and delicious! Main course - papparadelle (a bit more narrow than usual) ai fungi porcini- amazing and tasty!!! Also had chittarra ai ricci spaghetti (square) with fresh clams and a sauce that was out of this world!! Finished off with a nice pistachio gelato! All in all a first class A-rated experience!! Molte Bene!! Gratzie!!!!!

08/03/2026: The cafe in Matera had a great local atmosphere. The atmosphere was very pleasant, authentic and we felt very comfortable there. The coffee was excellent and the service was nice and helpful. It is an ideal place to take a short break and enjoy the real Italian atmosphere. I definitely recommend visiting.

17/10/2025: Highly recommended. Excellent local Matera cuisine served in generous portions. The staff is courteous and professional. The restaurant is elegant, with cloth-lined tables. The terrace overlooking the Sassi is actually a window, but considering the reasonable prices, it's a restaurant worth trying.

15/02/2026: At the lady's recommendation, we chose the house antipasti, traditional local dishes, truly appetizing and fresh. Then came the cavatelli with chunky ragù and an entrecote with fried potatoes. These dishes also exceeded our expectations. The service was very friendly and attentive. We definitely recommend this trattoria, and if we return to the area, it will definitely be one of our favorites. Thank you for everything! Fulvio and Claudia.

04/01/2026: A grill and restaurant in the heart of Melfi. The staff is incredibly courteous and polite. The meats are high-quality, cooked to perfection. I'd gladly return, even just to enjoy the delicious bruschetta.

05/01/2026: Very convenient location: not exactly in the hustle and bustle of the historic center, but still very close. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, clean and bright. The owner is very kind but discreet. There aren't many tables, so reservations are essential or you risk being left empty-handed. The menu doesn't offer a huge number of dishes, but they're small, well-prepared, and tasty. It's obviously a matter of taste, but we liked it. The price we paid was fair. If it were in my city, I'd go back. Congratulations!

01/01/2026: Extremely overrated restaurant. Its fame is due almost exclusively to the spectacular view, because unfortunately the food doesn't live up to its reputation. For a seafood restaurant, the quality leaves much to be desired: less-than-fresh ingredients, dull flavors, and a limited selection that doesn't justify either the expectations or the price. The menu offers very little choice, and the dishes are anonymous, lacking in attention to detail and character. Considering the extremely high prices, it's clear you're only paying for the location and the name of the restaurant, not the gastronomic experience. A real shame, because with such a location, you'd expect a whole different level of quality. Recommended only for those looking for a nice photo, not for those looking for good food.

27/02/2026: Terrible, terrible, terrible, not only did I have to wait an hour for a pizza but I also had to pay 6 euros for the cover charge, we're just not there

24/02/2026: The service was good and fast but the pizza had no taste, it certainly made with low quality ingredients and was a bit burnt. The cocktail was very good to compensate a bit.

03/01/2026: This review is for a dinner for two. The atmosphere is nice, a typical restaurant in the Sassi district. There's a limited selection of pizzas, but they're all delicious, including the one we chose. It's among the best we've had in Matera. The downside of the evening was the service. There was an excessive wait to order, and even worse after finishing the pizza. We waited a bit too long for dessert, which arrived a bit too late. Likewise, a couple of tourists at the table next to us left because of the excessive wait. Not good. One improvement I'd suggest is better communication among the staff (which probably needs to be improved on nights like this).

11/10/2025: We were here this evening and had a truly wonderful meal! The food was excellent, everything fresh and carefully prepared. The owner was very kind and friendly, making us feel at ease right away. The place is clean, welcoming, and well-kept. A place that deserves to be known and appreciated. A wonderful discovery that we highly recommend!
