06/03/2025: We went to 900 Taccardi for the first time, and what can I say, a unique experience, good food. Very relaxing place and soft music. The owner welcomed us in a kind way and finally gave us a pack of pasta produced by his ancient pasta factory, with a lot of history in his family. Advised. We will return with pleasure!

18/03/2025: Best meal of our Italian trip. We arrived in Matera early evening on a Wednesday in March, a day when many restaurants are closed. Osteria San Francesco is a small family-run place, with a calm, modern, relaxing vibe. Excellent local dishes, which you can watch the chef prepare. We were the only guests in the restaurant that night. Lovely service, excellent value. I'd love to go back!

As American Tourists she overcharged us €10 after relooking at the bill - my Invisalign fell out of my pocket and she replied online taunting us for forgetting it instead of offering it back to us. Food was okay but go to a place with good customer services - do not look at the top reviews rank this place by least to greatest - there is better food in Matera and this place is not it especially with the service!!! GO ELSEWHERE

19/01/2025: Fabulous.. we went to eat with my wife and 8 month old little pest before visiting the city of Matera. The food was great, the service quick and the staff very friendly. We really liked it. It is a place not to be missed for celiacs and non-celiacs.

I am usually not adventurous at all when choosing food but as we are visiting friends who live in this town and they arranged a private meal with Chef Pepe I said I would try everything To say I was amazed at the flavour and deliciousness of each dish is an understatement Each plate of food was amazing. 22/12/2024: Questo piccolo ristorantino " Divino" l'abbiamo scoperto mentre passeggiavamo lungo la via principale di Maratea alla fine della strada in una serata di fine Settembre. Pochissimi tavoli, ma appena seduti veniamo accolti da una signora ( la cuoca ) molto gentile a proporci il menù del giorno. Il locale è arredato con mobili che richiama ricordi di altri tempi, oltre ai prodotti caratteristici della zona, salumi, formaggi ecc. Noi abbiamo scelto la ciambotta lucana un piatto a base di melanzane e altre verdure e il piatto del giorno. Inoltre avendo un biglietto del B. e b.dove eravamo alloggiati, ci hanno offerto due bicchieri di vino bianco della zona,molto buono. 02/11/2024: Excellent piade & piadipizza flavors with fresh ingredients and interesting local beers. The local sparkling lemonade with three varieties of lemon is the best thing for a hot day.

19/02/2025: Cena da solo nel corso di un viaggio di lavoro (suggerito da hotel). Location straordinaria: ha una terrazza panoramica sui Sassi con tavoli idonei a una cena romantica. Ambiente confortevole, accoglienza cordiale, servizio celere e professionale. Piatti ineccepibili: tradizione e buona qualità delle materie prime di base e ottimo lavoro in cucina. Carta dei vini adeguata con in più un dignitosissimo Primitivo servito al calice o in brocchetta come vino della casa. Rapporto qualità prezzo corretto.

14/10/2024: Excellent cuisine, fresh and well-made fish. Courteous staff and panoramic view. Prices are adequate for what you eat, perhaps the desserts cost more than I would have expected but it's still worth it. The only downside is the service which is slightly slow but we will definitely return for the quality we found

13/10/2024: Sleepy when out of season, this is a tranquil but easily accessed location off the coast road, part of a small hotel. Had sea bass (spigola) tartar and grilled area bass filet, with grilled and sauteed vegetables. Large windows take in partially obscured sea views, and the whole has a dated, rather 70s/80s feel. Friendly cat!

20/02/2025: This is a comfortable and unique place for a meal. The house wine was nice. The staff was helpful in picking out a flavorful pasta dish with peppers Crusco and Caciocavallo cheese. We were easily sold on desert when told the ice cream was made in house and came with a whiskey caramel sauce!

26/01/2025: Location strepitosamente elegante Cibo prelibatissimo dalla pignata alla Materana “servita in coccio” allo stinco di maiale alla birra rossa e per finire uno stupendo baccalà alla materana con pomodorini freschi, capperi e olive. Beh che dire …. Vi hanno accolti con molta eleganza, ci hanno accompagnati in questa avventura di sapori particolari e gradevoli al palato. Ogni ingrediente era al suo posto e ben dosato. Esperienza unica da rifare altre 1000 volte COMPLIMENTI. ! !!! !

08/01/2025: Wonderful personal experience, Local and farm, not far from the center of Atella Pz, parking in the greenery, the food is really good as in the demonstrative photos of my visit with the group of friends, very kind, helpful staff, typical cuisine as per tradition, flavours, colours, taste unique and exclusive!! Congratulations Good Work! I highly recommend!

01/01/2025: The true farmhouse par excellence, with an exceptional educational farm, to show our children who are now immersed in IT and general computerization is daily, how animals are really made and what emotions they can give. For us adults, a pleasant break immersed in nature with the possibility of visiting prestigious places nearby such as the Federiciano castle of Melfi, Venosa, the city of Orazio and the San Fele waterfalls, the Monticchio lakes. The food offered is strictly 0 km so we ate only and exclusively genuine and home-produced things, expertly cooked and well presented. The rooms in the farmhouse are comfortable, welcoming and clean. It is priceless in the morning when you wake up, open the window and find yourself immersed in a valley where the mountains touch the sky. Breakfast in the morning is a pleasure to make, it seems to be all in the family and already because the owner makes her customers feel at ease. In other words, if you want to eat genuinely, if you want to spend a peaceful and carefree day after a week of stress or a hectic life routine, this is the right place to recharge. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
