21/05/2026: The atmosphere is very refined, warm, and welcoming, with little noise and a wide selection of wines, including a private wine cellar, far beyond what you'd expect from a hotel restaurant.
19/05/2026: The service was extremely slow. We asked several times what's the problem, what takes so long and we were told every time that the food is coming in a minute. 40 minutes later arrived wrong dishes. The waiter started to argue that he's right (he didn't take the order) and we are wrong. The the waiter, who took our order, appeared and immediately told we were right and a new dish will be made. What he did not mention was, that it will be made after all the other orders; not right away. Of course. The level of service maintained low at all times.
Judging by the looks people were giving to the staff, they did not succeed with them either.

25/06/2026: I went for lunch. The service was very slow. I waited half an hour for the main course, which arrived cold, and the side dish was worse than the main course. The dining room I was in had no air conditioning. Only one waitress in the entire restaurant, who also worked the cash register. They even changed the name of the restaurant, but it's the same one as before... Avoid it.
17/06/2026: We stopped by chance and it was a very good experience... if I were to pass by again, I would gladly return. The staff was good.

10/04/2026: Easter lunch: fast service and attentive waiters. The atmosphere is welcoming, but on Easter Sunday there are too many tables. The food is fresh and good. The only flaw was that the appetizer was served in small portions rather than as a single dish. We'll be back during the non-holiday period.

A terrible Easter lunch, the first time in my life I've eaten bresaola with artichokes (from a jar in oil) and packaged parmesan shavings.
The first course from the appetizer menu should have been Culatello, but I found myself with coarsely chopped, very poor-quality raw ham, a gianchetti pizza (which disappeared) that was basically a burnt meatball, a battered zucchini flower similar to a Big Babool, octopus with artichokes (also in oil) that wasn't even drained, and the spring prawns...they tasted of tomato.
Finally, a slice of salami was passed around in plain sight from one waiter to another in the middle of the dining room!!!!
Not recommended for anyone looking for a decent meal!

22/05/2026: There's nothing to complain about. A place that, even from the outside, presents itself impeccably. Meticulously decorated, with soothing colors and a harmonious décor. The staff is impeccable, very helpful, but especially calm, kind, and, above all, polite and knowledgeable. Last but not least, the dishes are exceptional; they're not afraid to explore both land and sea, and the ingredients are treated with absolute care. The focus is on delicate, elegant flavors that caress the palate with absolute class. The wine selection is sensational. A wide selection, capable of satisfying everyone. Absolutely one of the best places I've ever eaten.

02/03/2026: My family and I had lunch on Sunday. The location was beautiful, but we had a long wait for our food to arrive. The bread arrived after we'd almost finished our appetizers, and after we'd asked for it. For our first courses, we had ravioli and cannazze with ragù, both delicious. The house wine was a bit pricey: €4 for half a glass. The atmosphere was fabulous, but the rest could be better.

01/05/2026: I'm a regular at the Last Hall restaurant in Baveno. The restaurant is located inside the Hotel Dino and offers a spectacular view of Lake Maggiore. The interior is elegant and original, while the outdoor terrace overlooks the lake, creating a truly enchanting atmosphere.
The menu is excellent, with high-quality dishes. The wait staff is also friendly, attentive, and always available. I also had the pleasure of meeting chef Andrea, who delighted us with truly incredible dishes.
I will definitely return.

Great credit to the highly trained and efficient staff, especially the maitre d' who served us.

The lasagna I had wasn't good either, and the portion was far too small for €12.
The waiter was friendly, but distracted by a football game playing on his laptop at the counter.
31/05/2026: We arrived at 8:15 PM and had to wait an hour for our drinks. The service was unfriendly and inattentive.
We won't be coming back again.

01/05/2026: I came here to eat with my parents to celebrate my dad's birthday. We had octopus salad and paella Gaetana. The mussels were also very good as an appetizer. The waitress is very attentive and stays in the dining room with the guests; service is very fast. I recommend making a reservation. At 1:00 PM, the place was almost empty, and it was a holiday; it gradually filled up.

26/04/2026: Great experience. We stayed 2 nights and had a great time. I think it's in a great location, halfway between Desenzano and Sirmione. It has a lovely garden and a decent pool. The staff was excellent, very professional and friendly.
