06/07/2025: Neighborhood supermarket, certainly convenient being in a central position compared to other competitors. Prices certainly not cheap. Some doubts about the "fridge tax". The price must always be clear. The manager of the store must always inform the customer by clearly indicating how much a certain product costs and if he applies any surcharges for particular services. When displaying the price, he certainly does not shirk his duty but the price of cold drinks cannot be applied or confused with those displayed on the sales counters at room temperature; at the checkout the operator handles the goods for the scanner reading of the price, and perceives the temperature and therefore cannot be mistaken, because one euro per bottle makes the difference.

13/06/2025: Large and welcoming place, old style. Friendly, sociable and cordial owner. That evening we were alone because it had just reopened after the full house of Easter, Easter Monday and April 25th. We didn't mind at all, we had a great time, it made us feel at home. Excellent and abundant portions. I recommend the hot and cold appetizer and mixed grill.

07/08/2025: It's a temple of meat; every time I go, there's something new to try, and it's always a perfect experience. Federico, the owner, is a true enthusiast, and when he describes a dish on the menu or the various selections of aged meats, he has that smile and a twinkle in his eye that shows someone who truly loves what he does. The location is well-kept and intimate, both in winter (inside) and summer (outside), and the service is always excellent. For me, it's the number one restaurant.

26/07/2025: We stopped for a quick lunch with the family and found other options besides pizza. I had a lovely chicken salad, fresh and very good, and my parents had pizza in various ways, and everyone was really satisfied! Great price for the quality.

08/06/2025: This was a spot I would describe as a complete tourist trap- No locals and very misleading reviews. The pizza was mediocre- not neopolitan Or Roman and very bland. Crust and sauce were sub par. Gnocchi Sorentina Was fine and the eggplant Parmesan was very greasy - possibly jarred eggplant smothered in cheese/oil. The limoncello spritz was also not drinkable. My review would have been more favorable had the service been slightly good- it was not. Do not fall for the good reviews here- try somewhere else in Sorrento.

19/07/2025: It's always a pleasure to come to Grotta Azzurra Pizzeria. This evening we also had a sublime Pepata di Cozze (peppered mussels) and a divine Scoglio. They are simple people and always attentive to their customers' needs. They remind me of the Amalfi Coast. 💖 Gina is an excellent hostess. 💯💯💯

13/08/2025: We went to Ammaccamm and had a really great time! The pizza is excellent, especially the Margherita and Capricciosa, which are truly tasty and well-made. 13/08/2025: Good pizza, but unfortunately it's not enough, especially today where there's so much competition... Disorganized, unwelcoming, and they give little importance (to their detriment) to customer service. For 10 minutes, we stood waiting, looking for someone to greet us, but none of the staff deigned to greet us or even bother to say, "Sorry, we'll be right there." They completely ignored us. Once we were seated, they served the tables that arrived later before us. When it came time to pay, I was hoping the gentleman would ask us how it went, but there was silence. TERRIBLE

24/04/2025: The atmosphere is good and we liked it. The service is extremely pleasant, the staff is very attentive and friendly. Dogs are welcome 😊 We had different pizzas which were all good. (the dough is thin in the middle, which is absolutely fine for me) it comes straight from a stone oven. We felt comfortable here and can definitely recommend it.

14/04/2025: We booked by phone at the last minute, but already by phone you understand the care and attention towards the customer. I saw really interesting and well prepared dishes being served. I ate an appetizer of artichokes and roasted mushrooms which were cooked and very tasty. A 1kg steak cooked to perfection and a simple but truly tasty orange salad that complemented the tasty meat, all accompanied by a bottle of wine from the Donnafugata cellars. Excellent experience
