08/06/2025: Year 2023 The fritto misto is a show!!!! Year 2025 We returned with some friends. The place and the service were excellent. And the fritto misto was the best in the area.

02/06/2025: Good ingredients and the dough is not bad at all, the place is inconvenient for parking, but it is ok because the place is pleasant and quiet, the staff is kind and efficient, the pizza chef knows his stuff. The cost is average for restaurants in the area, but "la bussola" is my favorite choice for the Piani di Celle area

08/04/2025: Sehr gutes Essen, freundlicher und aufmerksamer Service, faire Preise. Wir waren nach unserem ersten Besuch so begeistert, dass wir 2 Tage später nochmals dort gegessen haben. Neben dem guten Essen hat uns die Freundlichkeit des Service begeistert.

10/06/2025: I had been there by chance last year and I had eaten very well; I wanted to go back bringing some friends and this time we didn't eat so well - pizza aside because the latter is good. (luckily 1 of us had pizza) We had 2 seafood scialatielli and 1 spaghetti with clams at a cost of 15 euros each; "normal" cost these days if however the dish is cooked properly, instead it was dry, the seafood consisted mostly of mussels - dry too - basically it lacked seasoning - for the spaghetti with clams the same method. The dishes seemed to have come out of the microwave. We were hungry and we ate them but they should have gone back to the kitchen and we should have left. Service: waiters kind and ready, however we Booked outside and once we arrived the place was inside. Well ...

27/05/2025: The pizza isn't even bad. Until you see that it's the waiters, and not the pizza chef, who fill the pizzas. Obviously without washing their hands. The pizza chef is also a real rude person, who yells and shouts at the waiters in front of the customers, even using swear words. The guys who serve at the tables are also nice, but the pizza chef and I believe the head waiter create a bad atmosphere. If you're lucky, sometimes the elderly mother also comes out to create a nice sketch. In short, a chaotic evening. The environment is spartan and not very well cared for, you can only enter in shifts on the weekend, canteen style. Prices are normal. But I would never go back given the very rude behavior of the pizza chef.

24/06/2025: An excellent dining experience in Rome! I had dinner at the C'era una Volta restaurant and pizzeria, and it exceeded my expectations. From the moment I walked in, I was warmly welcomed by the staff. Thanks to Diego, our waiter, and his knowledge of the menu and the kitchen, I followed his advice and had pasta with fettuccine misto mare (mixed tomato sauce), scampi, shrimp, ricciola, calamari, vongore, and cozze. We paired it with a Red Spinach beer. For dessert, tiramusu, chocolate and sambal dessert, and biscotto cantucci. Thanks to the owners and Diego. I recommend it 100%. Excellent evening!

08/07/2025: I rarely leave negative reviews, but I do so in a constructive spirit, because the place is very nice and the waiter was really kind. Unfortunately, however, the experience was disappointing: I ordered oysters and raw shrimp from Puglia, but — for me — they were not fresh enough. Being a guest, I did not want to cause discomfort. I did not suffer any physical consequences, but I felt a certain discomfort. I also tasted the cooked fish of my companion: well cooked, but — in my opinion — same problem. I hope it is an isolated case

21/06/2025: We stopped last night after 3 hours of traffic on the highway, a place with very few tables occupied, we were turned away with the excuse that the place would soon fill up with customers who had booked. We found another restaurant not far away (highly recommended by the way!) and on our way back to get back on the highway, 1 hour later, we passed by this restaurant again, the parking lot even emptier than when we stopped and the place half empty. So let's say that as tourists it wasn't nice to feel unwelcome! Staff not at all professional. ABSOLUTELY NOT RECOMMENDED!!!

20/06/2025: The place is nice, adjacent to the Bitonto Cathedral, you can get there on foot given the historic center. The menu is medium-high range, but does not meet expectations. However, the food is good. I never talk about stars and I do not quantify the judgment based on them, but if the menu was diversified in some ways it would be better. An example: a person alone could not access a single appetizer, because they are large portions, like for two people at least and do not have continuity with the first and second courses, they almost never connect. It seems like a menu based on .... I eat an appetizer and then the dessert; or the first and the dessert and so on. I repeat, the food is good, but in my opinion there is no connection between the courses. The staff is kind and the owners take personal care of their customers. Improvable 😉

23/05/2025: On the advice of a very kind sales assistant I tried this place for lunch, it was a pleasant surprise, fish menu with good products and good presentation. Welcome entree, tuna tartare appetizer with burrata foam and pistachios, bigoli cacio e pepe with red shrimp tartare, warm bread and finally an excellent lemon sorbet (🍋 a real sorbet with ice cream and liqueur) to accompany a flute of Franciacorta. Excellent service. Bravi👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

I am not a fan of sweets so I do not give judgments but even in this case there is a wide choice. I absolutely recommend

14/06/2025: Sono partito apposta da Asti in moto per provare la “spaghettoteca” … il servizio è apprezzabile ma disattento infatti mi han portato gli spaghetti alle vongole veraci con il pomodoro dopo che mi erano stati suggeriti in bianco ma me li hanno sostituiti…. Veniamo al piatto, la pasta è precotta (male)e slegata dal condimento peccato perché le vongole in sé erano buone e fresche. Per quanto riguarda invece le penne all’arrabbiata beh un disastro non erano neanche piccanti ed erano più mezze maniche che penne. A voi l’ardua sentenza … io ci stendo un velo pietoso e non ci tornerò più di sicuro

Excellent choice of dishes and quality in the products, very good dishes, smiling and kind service. Children's menu available - which in Laigueglia has become a luxury! 5 stars!!
