18/08/2025: Family dinner. Modern and elegantly furnished. Very friendly, helpful, and smiling staff. 2 Assassina with stracciatella, 1 cacio e pepe troccoli, 1 glass of red wine, water, 8 pistachio favors, 1 portion of sporcamuss. Total €78. Fair price for the quality of the food, the elegance of the place, and the prompt service. Reservations were not necessary. I recommend it and would return to try the pizzas (wood-fired oven).

05/08/2025: We caught the ferry over and walked here, it's up a lot of steps but through the beautiful old part of town with all the picturesque laneways. Clean comfortable good breakfast. Great restaurant recommendation.

12/07/2025: We stayed with Anna (the owner), who was courteous and efficient. The rooms are beautiful, bright, and clean. The location is excellent, quiet, and just steps from the center of the nightlife.

04/09/2025: A pleasant surprise in the center of Castellammare. We ate dinner at the tables outside. The first course was a special "la buona forchetta" (good for the food), the sauce we'll remember for a long time, and the meat was also very good. Fast service and the owners were friendly and welcoming. A first course, a sliced ​​steak, a trio of meats, and a side dish with water and wine were €45, a fair price. The only downside is that the tables outside are on the street and traffic passes by, but the quality of the food makes it worth it.

08/09/2025: Stay away from here, Since the area doesn’t have that many restaurants me and my brother decided to take a trip over there because there were no open restaurants nearby (the nearby pizza shop was closed). The service was awful, the waiter ignored us for 15 minutes straight and we had a long look at the menu; the prices are reasonable and the photos on Google Maps seemed like certain portions were big! So we ordered some of the food after the waiter finally came knowing that we would probably receive the portions in the photos! Turns out the photos are misleading. The food itself was awful, flavorless or the flavors were exaggerated, not to mention the beer was pricey and that we had a had time ordering to begin with. We ended up spending more time waiting to order than time to actually eat and leave, I cancelled my grilled beef slice after the pasta I had because I knew I was not in here for a good time and I’d much rather drive a longer distance to eat in a good place than in here. Avoid it and find a better place to eat in like in Villa Gaia or the pizza place above it.

30/08/2025: "I'd like to, but I can't." The staff and owner are not up to par. They're rude. They serve frozen bread, and then they turn away. I ask for breadsticks, and they say no. The price is exorbitant for what we ordered: two appetizers and a pizza. We'll definitely never go back.

The setting is nestled in the green hills between Bardolino, Costermano, and Garda, yet away from the hustle and bustle of the lakeside tourism. The owners are very friendly and helpful.

01/09/2025: The prices don't match the quality and quantity. Dinner for three cost over 200 euros, and everyone left hungry. The mixed grilled fish was a scam. Everything smelled like grilling kindling. The staff barely spoke English. I'm giving it 3 stars only for the delicious canola and frozen torte.

26/08/2025: Dinner in the garden, reminiscent of an old-fashioned piazza, yet cheerful and informal. The fried cod and grilled fish were excellent, but the guests were also very satisfied, opting for a delicious steak with potatoes and chicory. Attentive service, even with almost all tables occupied. Unbeatable value for money.

16/08/2025: Excellent dinner based on gourmet pizza, there were 2 of us plus a baby in a stroller, the staff were very kind and attentive even to the needs of the little one, excellent place, we will definitely return next time!
