06/03/2026: In Pesaro for an event, a cold day with a misty sky, but a charming atmosphere. Strolling along the canal, we noticed a bitter mussel. The atmosphere is fresh and lively, seemingly down-to-earth, but then you discover a great deal of attention to the food and presentation. In the dining room, a very practical, kind, and super-efficient young woman and a young man with great style and manners never forget to serve the ladies first. Portions are adequate for those who have to return to work, and there are original off-menu options. Of course, the price is well-known... appropriate for the standing, perhaps a little high, but nothing is cheap these days.

The pinsa is very good, hearty, and high-quality, with every single ingredient carefully crafted. I recommend it to everyone for a simple dinner or lunch that leaves you with a big smile. 01/03/2026: I visited Il Gattopardo Restaurant, and overall the experience was positive. The restaurant is in a somewhat secluded location, not immediately visible, but once inside, you discover a refined and well-structured environment. The restaurant is spread over two levels, a room on the main floor and a smaller room on the lower level. Both are intimate and well-organized. The spaces are well-managed, creating an intimate and pleasant atmosphere. The decor is simple but neat, with a sober yet elegant style. As for the food, the portions are generous and satisfying. The dishes are well-presented and overall enjoyable. However, I found the first courses to be rather rich in seasoning: the olive oil, in particular, was very present. Everything was good, but without any particular elements of originality that markedly set it apart. Ultimately, it's a restaurant where you eat quite well and leave feeling full, ideal for a quiet meal, even if it lacks that detail that makes it truly memorable.

21/02/2026: This restaurant is right in front of Urbino Cathedral. The dining room could use a general makeover, but it's still welcoming, spacious, and clean. The service staff is extremely courteous, polite, and professional; it's very noticeable, and it was a pleasure to be served by such people. Food: truly high-quality, beautifully crafted dishes. The portions, even considering the dishes at nearby tables, were adequate to satisfy our hunger; prices were average. The person who gave us the bill was also welcoming, courteous, and helpful, even giving us a small, unsolicited discount and keeping our bill square. The cafeteria prices, too, are incredibly reasonable, considering it's a touristy and frequently visited location. We'll definitely be back, and thank you for the excellent meal and service.

04/02/2026: 5 February 2026 Lunch! We liked this little cafe restaurant so much that we went back for coffee a couple of times and on our last day in Urbino, we went back for lunch! It was amazing - strozzapreti with fresh asparagus and sausage, tagliatelle in a white cinghiale (wild boar) ragù, plus sides of insalata mista and the wonderfully named pomodori ignoranti (ignorant tomatoes 😂). Apparently cucina ignorante is all about rustic, rule-free cooking - simple and unfussy. Even the bread was delicious. For dessert we had torta di crema, pinoli e rum — custard and pine nut tart with a hint of rum. It was a wonderful memorable lunch! 1 February 2026 Afternoon coffee break We stopped by this cafe restaurant for an afternoon coffee break while visiting the Palazzo Ducale. The coffee was ok but we thought that the pistachio croissant and crostata were delicious. Big thumbs up for the friendly service and good pricing!

30/06/2025: Nel cuore del centro storico di Urbino, il locale si distingue per la sua atmosfera intima e accogliente. Un'osteria rinascimentale con arredamento molto elegante e ben climatizzato. La cucina rispecchia la qualità del locale, offrendo una vasta selezione di piatti che utilizzano sapientemente l'eccellente materia prima del territorio con preparazioni innovative che mantengono i sapori autentici della tradizione. Noi abbiamo optato per il menù degustazione da cinque portate, che è il modo migliore per conoscere l'offerta del ristorante e anche un affare dal punto di vista economico e siamo stati guidati dalla cameriera per la scelta del vino, che si è rivelato un perfetto accompagnamento per il percorso. Il menù degustazione è stata un'esperienza unica, con piatti che sono delle piccole opere d'arte, con gusti ben bilanciati e abbinamenti inaspettati che funzionano perfettamente. Consiglio caldamente "Esplosione di Manzo" e "Porgi l'altra guancia". Servizio impeccabile, attento e competente, che sa consigliarti e ti aiuta a districarti nella vasta selezione di vini. Anche le varie portate sono serviti con i tempi giusti, per un'esperienza rilassata e tranquilla. Prezzi in linea con il tipo di cucina offerto. Complimenti a tutta la squadra.
