17/03/2025: I have been frequenting the Cloister occasionally for 35 years. I have always found the dinner excellent, the service given by the managing brothers and the beautiful medieval room. If I really have to find a flaw, I would focus on the acoustics.

25/02/2025: It was a very pleasant experience. The room was not large but welcoming, the bed seemed too soft to my taste and the only flaw was the pillows being too low. Dinner was good and breakfast was varied and complete. The real strong point is the welcome that Matteo gave us. Exquisite person, kind and extremely helpful in all requests. If all people were like him the world would be a better place. Truly a Plus.

07/11/2024: As a good Macerata native, I remembered his pizza, as always always very good. Having moved to Appignano it was nice to discover that he had opened his own pizzeria here. I confirm! Pizza as good as in the past. Prices normal Well done

20/10/2024: Andrea e il suo staff sono una garanzia. All’Amaca troverete una cucina marchigiana fatta con prodotti KM 0 e di qualità, servita in un’atmosfera intima ed accogliente. La conoscenza enogastronomica di Andrea si riconosce in ogni piatto e in ogni calice. Noi almeno 2 volte all’anno facciamo tappa da lui , uscendo sempre soddisfatti. Prezzi in linea con quanto abbiamo ordinato. Andateci!

02/03/2025: A really nice location, surrounded by greenery. We stayed one night in the Poiana room, on two floors and super spacious. The breakfast was really delicious, vegan and rich. The staff was super helpful and kind.

16/03/2025: We went for dinner on a Saturday night. Characteristic place, a little too dark and a little dirty however, unpleasant smell inside, closed and worn air. Really disappointing service, the girl who served us was decidedly unhelpful and unpleasant, we pointed out that a different dish from the one we had asked for had arrived, and she replied "absolutely not, this is what you asked for", without any ifs or buts. The guy who then brought us the beers equally unpleasant. To top it off, they asked us if we wanted sweets at 9.25pm, when we had already finished eating at 9.00pm, we ordered, the waiter returned at 9.45pm saying that the agreement was that we would leave the table by 9.30pm, so he only brought us the "quickest to prepare" desserts and then we would have to go. So no service at all. As for the food, it seems much better when you read it from the menu than what arrives on the plate, nothing exceptional really, and rather "fair" portions for the price. The desserts they brought us were pleasant. Good beers, but again, nothing exceptional, mine wasn't even very cold. Medium-high prices. I don't think we will return.

04/04/2025: Tout ce que nous souhaitions en tant que touristes francais ! Une trattoria typiquement italienne, une cuisine simple et savoureuse pleine de saveurs, un accueil chaleureux et une ambiance " comme a la maison". Nous avons tellement aimé que nous y sommes retournès le lendemain, sur un séjour de 3 jours c'est plutôt très bon signe !!! Je recommande vraiment la Trattoria del Leone a tous ceux qui souhaitent reellement savourer l'Italie !

10/02/2025: We sat on the tables outside, we ordered a trio of vegetables, I ordered a Falafel, the Falafel is served with an excellent rice mayonnaise, they made us taste some excellent Ascoli style olives, vegetarian. An informal and colorful place, with a small selection of natural wines. Inside there is also a counter (deli-style) and some high quality pasta/preserves/ products.

03/04/2025: Conosco questo locale da molti anni, conosco Edoardo e Giorgia come persone deliziosamente professionali. Non è possibile pensare ad una gita ad Offagna senza passare dal Cresciolo. Cucina e tradizione, innovazione e sperimentazione ma sopratutto attenzione al cliente e visione per il futuro. Una bellissima realtà giovane con tanta determinazione. Occorre prepararsi prima di gustare una cena o un pranzo ... occorre aprire la mente ad una vera experience e un viaggio nei sapori nei colori e nel paesaggio. Consigliatissimo ma i consigli sono superflui ... meglio provare, prima in coppia, poi in famiglia, poi in gruppo poi con l'azienda come abbiamo fatto noi con tutto il gruppo di imprenditori per una serata davvero unica.

20/03/2025: Location suggestiva e ricca di storia, è ideale sia per una cena, sia per un soggiorno rigenerante. La mia dolce metà ed io abbiamo solamente cenato( avanti ci piacerebbe anche provare il soggiorno), e non posso che fare davvero i complimenti a tutto lo staff, dallo chef al personale di cucina e sala. La professionalità, la gentilezza e l'accoglienza che il personale di sala esprime, si fonde con la bravura dello chef e dello staff della cucina, capaci di creare piatti di altissima qualità, una vera cucina d'autore. Oltre che alla qualità delle materie prime, sono anche molto attenti alle esigenze del cliente, in particolare mia moglie avendo una intolleranza, ha potuto mangiare lo stesso, ottimamente consigliata dal maitre di sala. Una menzione finale per la gentilezza mostrata dal Sig.D'Alesio e dal receptionist che ci ha raccontato la storia della suite del Marchese del Grillo.....
