Alla Sostra Take Away In Dervio

A rustic restaurant, all seafood-focused, where you pay little but eat well. They give you the menu, you go to the cashier, order, pay, and when it's ready, they call you and you go get your food. When you're finished, you pick up the trash and separate it into the various bins.

Excellent dishes (the tagliatelle with lake ragù is delicious), convenient and fast self-service, fair prices, beautiful view of the lake.

They don't offer table service; you order at the counter and collect it from a window under the porch. The food is very good, the location is pleasant, and the lake view is very nice. The staff is very friendly. I recommend booking.

Fallen in love from day one. Fantastic place. Dervio's lakefront wouldn't be the same without them!

Every now and then you come across a truly surprising place, one that offers no frills but excellent food for the stomach and the heart. This is the case.

For lake fish in a laid-back setting. The menu also features numerous meat-based options and Valtellina specialties. The staff is incredibly friendly, and the lady at the register has a truly warm smile. Everything I ordered was delicious, with generous portions. There are lovely wooden tables for dining with a lake view, as well as a covered area with plastic tables and chairs where we ate lunch to shelter from the rain. There's no table service (no high chairs); you order at the register, pick up your order at the kitchen window, and then clear away your food yourself. A friend recommended it to me, and we were very pleased.

Unfortunately, the food is not as good as advertised, but that's because all three dishes we ordered were very salty.
