10/10/2025: Beautiful restaurant with lake views. Outdoor seating. Excellent service (Edoardo). Dishes are well-presented, at the right temperature and texture, and delicious. Good selection of drinks and wines. I recommend booking for a good table. Prices are high, but in line with expectations. Public parking is available nearby. We entered through the hotel.

03/10/2025: The best apitivo we enjoyed during our stay in Italy. The staff were a friendly and gracious. The shared a shots of Amoro, a digestif, with us to celebrate my wife’s birthday and then brought out pastries with candles. They treated all the patrons well (both hotel guests and slubs like us) and you could see many were returning visitors.

12/04/2026: I was looking for a bar on Lake Annone to quench my thirst. Among the photos, I saw "Aire Bar" and chose it. With ample parking, it's a rustic wooden lakeside venue with several indoor and outdoor tables. Very friendly staff. The lake view is undoubtedly beautiful, perfect for a refreshment break during a hike or a relaxing moment with friends.

04/04/2026: The lakeside location is wonderful. The option of dining outside overlooking the Annone River is definitely a plus. With a location like this, I think the menu needs to be improved to make it truly top-notch. The usual piadinas, no fries, and the selection is a bit limited. The crostata deserves a solid 10/10.

15/01/2026: An excellent experience! The Florentine steak was simply spectacular: top-quality meat, perfectly cooked, and an intense flavor that showcased the raw ingredients. Attentive and friendly service, a welcoming and refined atmosphere. A restaurant that showcases tradition with great professionalism. Highly recommended!

28/12/2025: We had lunch for four and were very satisfied with all the dishes: elephant ear pasta with chips, pizzoccheri Valtellinesi, tagliata with arugula and parmesan, and risotto with mushrooms and casera cheese. Very friendly service and an interesting location, frequented by a paragliding school, with a beautiful view of the surrounding mountains.

08/12/2025: A very good option for a quick lunch break. A few details could be improved to match the atmosphere of the place, which seems to aspire to something more, but the menu is well-rounded and perfectly suited to what one expects from a business lunch.

16/10/2025: It's been years since we've had such an obscene pizza, soggy, burnt, with a gigantic, raw crust, tasteless tomato, that buffalo mozzarella and cherry tomatoes—they didn't even cut the initial piece of tomato, which was thrown on the tasteless pizza without giving it any life. But the most absurd thing is that the waitresses clean the table by spraying CHANTE CLEAR degreaser directly onto the surface while people around them are eating, and they make us sit at the table still completely wet. So I reported this to them to see if they could kindly dry it, and they rudely replied that it was a disinfectant. The place is tiny, with even two very sad little tables for two people under the bar counter. Never again, never again.

07/10/2025: My boyfriend and I were staying in a village nearby and wanted a quaint, authentic restaurant experience.. and this was perfect! A small but delicious menu and freshly made pasta and risotto. The cheese board was amazing. The staff are very friendly and try their best to accommodate for English-speaking tourists.

04/12/2025: For her birthday, my wife decided to stay a night at Maso Zambo. We'd already tried last year, but there was no room. We started with the spa, reserved for the two of us, with a Finnish sauna alternating with an outdoor walk barefoot in the snow. This was followed by a fantastic dinner, of which I vividly remember the taste of the salmon trout eggs cracking in my mouth. Finally, in the morning, after a delicious breakfast, we had a restorative massage. We were pampered during these 24 hours of pure well-being. Finally, Stefano took us out of the fairytale by taking us back to our car at the top of the road, and we were enchanted!

02/11/2025: As per the property's slogan, keep it a secret! Maso Zambo is a hidden gem in Valsassina, a small property with meticulous attention to detail, where everything is genuine and authentic, starting with Stefano, the owner. There are only two simple rooms, each with a very comfortable bed and a beautiful view of the hills. Dinner is tasty, intimate, and features produce from the garden. Breakfast is simple and healthy, perhaps one of the aspects the Maso could improve. The highlight is undoubtedly the spa, which Stefano is an expert on. A clean, relaxing environment, with a splendid sauna and hot/cold showers. Massages and scrubs can also be added. The price is certainly high, but I find it in line with the offerings. If you're looking for peace and relaxation, Maso Zambo is for you.

07/04/2026: An evening with friends. Everyone ordered different things: from the burger to the pizza, to the meat... everything was delicious and tasty. I highly recommend it, especially because the place closes late and you can enjoy the whole evening chatting. I'll definitely be back.
