06/08/2024: Una tipica domenica estiva, la calura, ti siedi al tavolo posto sotto l'ippocastano centenario che con i suoi rami e le sue foglie ti danno un po' di refrigerio, se il cielo è terso puoi vedere Milano..., ordini e in tempo zero mangi, spettacolo.
Pappardelle al ragù di capriolo, polenta cipolle e salsiccia, un litrozzo di rosso sfuso, caffè, digestivo tutto ad un prezzo più che ragionevole.
Il servizio, giovane, rapido, simpatico e nello stesso tempo molto professionale, consigliato, ciao alla prox.

23/07/2024: Abbiamo pranzato in questo rifugio spettacolare, per la vista panoramica che già di per sé vale la pena , spettacolare l' antipasto misto , la polenta con il taleggio , il cervo con funghi , le costine di maiale in salmi ', il tutto condito dalla gentilezza e la simpatia dei gestori ...il prezzo più che corretto visto la location ...grappa alla genziana offerta ...poi con una bella passeggiata si arriva alla panchina rossa dove si apre la vista sui laghi di Lugano e di Lecco
10/07/2024: Il rifugio ha un parcheggio e diversi tavoli all’aperto con vista sulla valle. C’è un menù veramente vario che sarebbe da provare tutto. Porzioni giuste, abbiamo preso polenta ricotta con miele e il piatto vegetariano che comprende: polenta e funghi, verdure cotte e formaggi della zona. 2 birre e caffè. Conto 38€. 26/08/2024: Luogo "nella Natura", lontano dal caos e dal traffico stradale (il grande parcheggio resta nascosto alla vista ma a pochi passi). Accoglienza cordiale e autentica, senza smancerie e quindi evidentemente sincera. Cibi ottimi della tradizione lombarda. Pizza squisita che non appesantisce. Anche i vegetariani trovano ampia scelta. Una cucina più casalinga che ricercata, dove la qualità e la genuinità degli ingredienti risultano immediatamente essere ciò che viene messo al primo posto. Simpatici e cordiali i proprietari che, qundo è loro possibile, si trattengono ai tavoli dei clienti come fossero vecchi amici.
Chi cerca luoghi "stellati" e "fuochi artificiali" ha sicuramente sbagliato posto. Qui, le "stelle" si vedono sempre nelle notti serene e i "fuochi" si trovano autenticamente, nelle stagioni fredde, nella stufa e nel bellissimo camino.
Per chi apprezza l'autenticità, questo è un posto giusto.

Unfortunately I found out about this pizzeria shortly before my move. I would have saved myself a lot of stomach aches, delicious pizza, I love the one with vegetables for its variety and flavour... congratulations to the team, punctual with deliveries, always kind and friendly.
Highly recommended!

25/07/2024: After an emtb tour, we stopped for a lunch break in this beautiful refuge located on the ridge between Val Varrone and Val Biandino.
The owners, with competence and friendliness, served me a first course of bread dumplings with spek and cheese, exhilarating in the balance of flavors and aromas, an exceptional first course that deserves beyond expectations.
The same is reserved for the many desserts that the refuge offers.
Compliments!!!!
25/07/2024: We stayed one night taking a tour from Introbio to Premana. The refuge and its location are incredible.
The new management of the Gianola family is nothing short of superlative. Excellent welcome, food, cleanliness and even the price. Making a stop here is a gift worth giving.

12/08/2024: We were here at the beginning of August and were completely surprised to find that dogs are allowed on this small, private beach. Since we were traveling with a dog, this was perfect for us. We thought €50 for four loungers and two umbrellas (during the week) was ok, especially since the drinks were cheap and tasted delicious. The staff was very nice, everyone was happy about our dog and we had a great day at the lake. The water is very clear, but you should remember to bring swimming shoes as there is only pebble and stone beach everywhere.

The food is mediocre, even tasteless. Wine too. The pizza dough is terrible.
Prices are too high.
For an overnight stay, they charged us 120€. (Payment receipts are not issued here)
Everything is old and unkempt, in need of major renovation!
The illusion of being in a room, but in fact there are just walls. Broken beds. The feeling that you are standing in the middle of a freeway, from all the windows you can hear the noise of cars, motorcycles, and the iron hatch they drive into.
The beds are old and uncomfortable.
We didn’t manage to sleep even an hour, even though we were tired from the road.
Tomorrow I was even more amazed. The table was set, but for what? What if there was no food on it?
They gave us 2 cups of coffee, they didn’t even offer the child milk or juice...
There were crackers scattered on the table!!! And samples of jam from the store (we don’t eat that)
Neither yogurt, nor scrambled eggs, nor anything else was offered.
I feel Spanish shame 🤦♀️ for your attitude towards people.
Italians, what happened to you!?
Where is your hospitality?
Start seeing people as people, and not just the thirst for money. There will always be few of them.))

20/08/2024: Per me e il mio compagno è ormai una tappa fissa. Abbiamo avuto l’occasione di tornarci più e più volte e usciamo sempre più che appagati. Di piatti ne abbiamo provati diversi e ammetto che ci hanno sempre lasciati tutti soddisfatti. Si sente la qualità della materia prima e la passione dedicata ad ogni piatto, la selezione di vini molto interessante e il personale è cortese e disponibile.
Se apprezzate la carne cruda consiglio il loro tris di crudités, che noi non possiamo fare a meno di prendere ogni volta.
16/08/2024: La qualità di quello cha abbiamo mangiato è stata sodisfacente.
Tuttavia, se mi consigli di mangiare una fiorentina e un diaframma NON mi aspetto che la fiorentina me la fai pagare 90Euro al Kg (2Kg 180Euro!) e 660gr di diaframma 72Euro! Eravamo in 8 di cui tre anziani e una bambina...praticamente in 4 adulti! Scemi noi a non aver chiesto ma ci siamo fidati alle parole "fidatevi di me" e abbiamo sbagliato.
In più le 5 creme al limoncello che "vi offriamo" e poi ci siamo ritrovati sul conto a 5Euro l'una?
Peccato non aver controllato il dettaglio del conto subito ma solo una volta arrivato a casa...
NON ci ritorneremo e non lo consiglio.

22/07/2024: Very good food. The quantity in the dishes is very low.
Zero competence of the waiters.
The wait for the first first course was absurd (more than 1 hour) and then it arrived with a paltry quantity (saffron rice).
Excellent meat, good cooking and quality.
The ridiculous side dish, three slices of grilled courgettes, half a centimeter of pepper (which one would have done before not adding) and a slice of aubergine (for the price of the vegetables in question it could have been done much better). The cost of grilled vegetables is €5.
Outdoor seats under a gazebo, overall nice, but full of mosquitoes without even a mosquito net or a measure.
So much wasted potential. This is not an insult but simply constructive criticism.
