02/09/2025: We've had two lunches at this taverna, and both times we've had really good food. Generous portions, excellent prices.

26/08/2025: My review only concerns the garden. I can't believe we paid 10 euros for this. Apart from the gate that opens onto the lake, the garden has no particular interest (people doing a photoshoot in front of us didn't even get a picture of us in front of it). But the real problem is the reception... We arrive at 5:15 p.m., we ask for a combined ticket with the Villa Monastero. "No, it's too late." The lady explains that we no longer qualify for the rate, but that the two villa gardens close at 7 p.m. and 8 p.m., so we can still go to the Villa Monastero, but we'll have to pay the full price. It makes no sense. All this without a smile. Here, they don't even give you a map; they tell you to "take a picture of the sign before entering the garden." For 10 euros, we could at least get a flyer. And the cherry on the cake, when we were leaving the garden, which I remind you we paid for access to, there are chairs, my husband stops for a second to put his backpack away properly before leaving, a lady asks us to move because "you are in the way of people coming to the restaurant", and yes the tourists and their backpacks were a blot in front of the customers in evening dress. In the end, these same chic customers, upon seeing us, stopped us and gave us big smiles because we had our dog and they found her so cute. They were not snobs! In short, you will have understood if you are not a guest at the hotel, I do not recommend this garden.

25/08/2025: Villa Cipressi hôtel is a catastrophic experience: 1) the hotel is fully of tourists : anywhere in the hotel you meet people making some « fashionista » pictures and drones at your window … Even in the main building of the hotel. Nothing intimist and private. 2) the room is a disaster. Nothing which looks like website pictures. 4) anything you do is extra pay! 3) service is mediocre: I asked to leave the hotel and being refundable. The manager refuses and kindly offer me the private car service to go back to my country whereas I have my car! Conclusion: if you have money find another hotel. If you don’t then keep your money and go somewhere else

03/08/2025: Pleasant experience! This restaurant was recommended to us, and we were pleasantly surprised. The food was excellent; we ordered crostoni and a Fiorentina steak. Everything was delicious. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and they made you feel right at home! Highly recommended!

11/07/2025: For those looking for gluten-free food, there are plenty of options on the menu, even burgers. No gluten-free pizzas, though. The setting is beautiful and the food is delicious. I'm giving a 2 for service because we ended up getting the wrong order: seafood paella instead of mixed meat. Because of this, my daughter didn't eat anything. When we mentioned it, the waitress didn't apologize, and she came across as arrogant. If a simple apology had been given, I would have given a 5 for everything. Aside from that, I'm convinced this is a great place. It's a shame about this unfortunate coincidence.

27/08/2025: Waiters seemed like they did not wanted to work. Help to understand the Italian menu was limited and no pizzas are served for lunch.

24/08/2025: I went today, August 24, 2025, for lunch with my family and in addition to the excellent food I found kindness, courtesy, availability and patience. For all this it deserves a return.

03/02/2025: We like to go there for breakfast because they have vegan cornetti here and we can even choose what to fill it with. You can also enjoy a very, very tasty cappuccino with soy milk and cinnamon here. Many thanks to the lovely team here, there are also a lot of other things, for example I bought stamps here for myself. Even when I'm on my racing bike, I like to go there to have a drink for a little refreshment. There's also a small outside pavilion. 🩵D💙A💚N💛K🧡E❤️

11/08/2025: Excellent agriturismo in Ortanella above Lierna. Local cuisine, delicious first courses, excellent pizzoccheri and vegetable crepes, and second courses include braised chamois goulash and chicken cacciatore with polenta and potatoes, of course. And what about the desserts? Definitely worth a visit to try. Excellent blueberry tart and raspberry ice cream. Reservations are required, and are only available for lunch on Saturdays and Sundays.

18/08/2025: I was there alone and received a warm welcome. Excellent, authentic Italian food and a cozy atmosphere. A quiet promenade along the river is just a stone's throw away.

08/09/2025: Very nice place. Excellent products to eat on site or buy in the super-stocked shop. The only downside is the lack of staff at the tables and a long wait for bread.

07/09/2025: We found this place by chance, and chance brought good luck. We had the main course, the pizzoccheri were amazing, the service was fast and friendly. We will definitely be back.

13/09/2025: A place frozen in time. The atmosphere is welcoming, simple, and familiar, with a lovely garden where you can relax. It was a pleasant surprise, highly recommended!

18/08/2025: Truly excellent kebab (the best in the area). Bake the bun (not reheat it like many others do) and once the dough has puffed up, cut it in half and fill it with meat. This is the kebab we like, you have to stop by and try it. Well done guys 🤝
