24/01/2025: Cogimos el ferry de Argegno a Varenna, que es bastante barato. Definitivamente necesito buenos zapatos para caminar como un montón de caminos irregulares. Solo un paisaje muy hermoso y tantos lugares agradables para almorzar. Pasamos 4-5 horas explorando. No te decepcionará Varenna.

26/04/2025: Very large and spacious place, even though there are a lot of people you can talk easily. The menu is rich and ranges from pizzas, burgers and grilled meat. Good food, without infamy and without praise. The craft beers are a plus, there is a wide choice also in bottles or cans.

12/04/2025: I was there with my partner, we had 2 burgers (average quality) and then we were still not full since our burgers had not arrived very seasoned; we decide to order a Margherita pizza. After a short wait, what we see arriving is a pizza that is almost too "perfect" to have been baked by a pizza chef! Initially we think of one of those pizzas with a ready-made base and then freshly seasoned; but after the first taste the truth turns out to be something else; what we were served was a frozen pizza! How did we understand this? Cornice that formed a perfect circle and high cross with a uniform brown/brown colour; mozzarella with an almost chemical flavor and rubbery consistency. We could have turned a blind eye, if it hadn't been for the fact that, as my partner got up to go to the bathroom, he noticed at another table a REAL pizza baked by the pizza chef and served to a boy, which had nothing to do with ours starting from the aroma and the fresh ingredients to the shape of the crust that was not uniform! Once at the checkout to pay we point this out to the cashiers (all 20 year old girls) who are rude and have zero professionalism in their profession; who only deny the fact of frozen pizza (even if clearly so!) By making jokes like "You ate it, now you'll pay for it" or "I didn't know you were a pizza chef" while they laughed under their breath. I may not be a pizza chef but I also run a diner and in my field there is a more polite way of dealing with the customer; in addition to the fact that by REGULATION all FROZEN ingredients should be marked on the menu with (*) and you don't do it! So I imagine you bake everything fresh, starting with appetizers like chicken nuggets, right? And the same goes for my pizza? it was not reported so the customer will have to assume that it is fresh. Beautiful little girl!

05/04/2025: Fantastic aperitif: draught Leffe Rouge beer, piping hot esoteric mini pizzas, delicious peanuts, chips, breathtaking lake view with Grignetta and Grigna mountains, fast and friendly service—what more could you ask for? 04/05/2025: I often find myself having dinner at this place due to its proximity to home. Classic brewery format with kitchen and pizzeria, where the beers accompany both the burgers and the pizzas very well. The dishes are tasty and well cooked, but for purists I advise against some preparations that bring variations on the original theme. The service is excellent, young guys who work hard with courtesy and verve. Perfect for family and company outings. Excellent desserts with fresh fruit (high quality ingredients, fruit but also in general).

Very good food and with three choices of both first - second and dessert. I recommend it for beautiful walks in Introbio and nearby towns.... congratulations, keep it up.... see you soon

19/08/2024: Nonostante siano anni che abbiamo casa ad Introbio solo da qualche mese abbiamo iniziato a frequentare il ristorante, prima con piatti da asporto e ultimamente anche sedendoci al tavolo. La cucina è di quelle casalinghe, con una discreta scelta tra primi e secondi, alcuni accompagnati da polenta. Quelli provati sono stati tutti buoni ad eccezione delle verdure miste al forno che erano totalmente insapori. Ieri abbiamo preso due piatti pizzoccheri, una polenta taragna e un tirami su. Tutti molto buoni e in porzioni adeguate. Con un litro d’acqua, mezzo litro di vino e due caffè abbiamo speso 35,70 euro. Ormai quando non ho voglia di cucinare il ristorante Sala è la mia opzione alternativa e tra l’altro è decisamente più economico della confinante gastronomia Sala che ultimamente ha esagerato un po’ con i prezzi.
