11/06/2025: We had the pleasure of staying at the Hotel San Gerolamo, an excellent discovery in a small, very quiet lake view village. The room was really large, equipped with every comfort (even a good hairdryer). The cleanliness and service were impeccable, and the breakfast was also noteworthy, well-stocked and available both inside and in a lovely furnished garden. There is a car park in front of the building, but it is important to know that on holidays, only residents' vehicles are allowed, but this is not a problem because a second large and free car park is located 5-7 minutes away on foot (especially recommended if you have a large car, because the road to get to the first car park is quite narrow, being in a village)

10/06/2025: Charming family-run hotel in the heart of a small Italian village! Very friendly staff and impeccable service. The rooms are spacious and well-equipped, with magnificent views of the castle. The fabulous breakfast with fresh, seasonal produce! Perfect!!!!

02/04/2025: In una domenica soleggiata, il locale si è riempito velocemente ma noi avevamo prenotato per tempo. Ci sono molti posti a sedere. Il servizio è veloce e il cibo proposto buono Molto soddisfacenti i primi per qualità e quantità, mentre I secondi non ci hanno entusiasmato, soprattutto la tagliata. Magari un'altra volta proveremo qualche altro secondo Per il nostro bimbo abbiamo trovato un seggiolone e stoviglie adatte

31/12/2024: È stata una piacevole esperienza. Personale gentile e veloce, ambiente rustico di montagna e piatti buoni ed abbondanti. Pizzoccheri e cervo ai mirtilli veramente ottimi, anche tiramisù e crostata ricotta e marmellata di mirtilli da applausi. Prezzi più che onesti. Consigliatissimo, ci torneremo.

22/07/2025: I returned by motorbike after years in this little village. The road is a bit challenging but panoramic. The service is kind and welcoming, the cured meats are excellent, the tagliolini flour buckwheat with bresaola and porcini mushrooms are delicious, the portions are generous. The restaurant enjoys a position, a tranquility and a coolness, ideal for a lunch in perfect relaxation...

08/06/2025: Simplicity, the only true word to describe this tavern. Arriving on a hot June midday, I called a few minutes early to make sure we could eat. “But we do sandwiches and TOST” I was told on the phone. What more could you want? Well, we arrive and the elderly owner who glimpsed us from the kitchen (the one in her house that also serves as the bar kitchen) welcomes us, makes us sit down and sitting in the beautiful garden outside on concrete tables and painted iron chairs we enjoy our sandwiches, a coke, a coffee and a nice slice of cake. It is worth a stop to be catapulted back in time and enjoy a genuine environment. It is increasingly rare to find places like this, THANK YOU

21/05/2025: We went for my son's communion lunch on May 11th, we had a great time, we ate well. Mrs. Franca was very helpful, friendly and gave lots of advice. She set up the room divinely, she is very kind and nice and good company. The waiters were very kind, I highly recommend them

30/04/2025: Management by Chinese family, great people and workers. Always kind and helpful. A great place to have a breakfast or an aperitif.

17/06/2025: We had a lasagne, a pizza diavola and a mixed salad. The quality and taste of food was unfortunately very poor. The food that you see on the pictures on Google is either from a previous owner or before this place went down in terms of standard. We went there based on the Google reviews and the very good pictures of the food, but reality is different. Don’t recommend to go there.

16/06/2025: Very unfriendly staff and absolutely not suitable for children, The acoustics on the outside terrace are very bad so that having a conversation with several people is impossible. Maybe also renew the website, it is still from the previous owner so the reviews are also from the old restaurant.

14/07/2025: Historic restaurant with a beautiful view of the woods surrounding Lecco and leading to Ballabio. Very good food, the specialty menu is a guarantee, and the menu is worth trying. They also make pizzas and homemade bread. Recommended for both families and couples.

Uniform seasoning on the entire pizza with tasty products! The staff are friendly and welcoming. Punctual and precise home delivery! Congratulations to everyone! Highly recommended!!!

31/05/2025: I enter....I notice right away. Not much staff. Only one person at the counter. Luckily the place wasn't crowded. Excellent coffee. The same person was afraid I wouldn't pay... A coffee and a snack paid €3.30...
