11/12/2025: I had lunch at this restaurant, choosing the 500g steak (lunch menu). Unfortunately, of the 500 grams declared, more than half is bone and fat. The meat is good, as is the preparation, but the prices are quite high, and the €3 cover charge is excessive.

08/12/2025: After seeing several videos on Facebook, I wanted to try this place, which I hadn't heard of. There were two surprises: - the first was the sheer quantity and variety of meats available. We ordered two steaks, including the "Nana," which were truly excellent. The appetizer, desserts, and beers were excellent. - the second was that I expected to enter a grill restaurant, but in reality it is a grill restaurant, but more geared toward "jacket and tie," where the waiter pours water into your glass and tells you the ins and outs of what you're about to eat. The price was accurate and in line with other meat restaurants; obviously, you can't look at a single euro more or less. In conclusion, this place is suitable for meat lovers; perhaps if it were more "simple," it would attract more meat lovers, those who pick up bones with their hands and bite them clean.

09/11/2025: Pizza not very good, exaggerated price two pizzas a diavola euro 11 a four cheeses two medium draft beers and a sambuca and an amaro del capo euro 51. It doesn't exist they don't see me anymore!!

02/11/2025: A beautiful dinner, an intimate setting, excellent service, and even better food. It's not typical La Spezia cuisine, but the fish is incredibly fresh and cooked to order. Compliments! Highly recommended.

18/10/2025: Excellent choice, extraordinary food, and even better service. I mentioned the service because I noticed in my 30 days in Italy that service is generally poor. And when we did get good service, well, I wanted to highlight it. The girl who served us last night was very professional and, above all, attentive. Both my food (fish) and that of the rest of my companions were top-quality, very fresh, and accompanied by a very welcoming atmosphere.

08/12/2025: Located less than a kilometer from the center of Portovenere, La Chiglia restaurant was one of the best surprises of our holiday here. The restaurant is seafront with parking, and the food, service, and friendliness are five-star. If you're in the area and want to eat expertly prepared, fresh fish and more, this is the place for you.

24/11/2025: Excellent food, charming and very refined atmosphere, very kind and attentive staff. I recommend it.

22/07/2025: This delightful little restaurant is set under the trees in the pretty little village square. An interesting menu features some local specialties which is nice to see and the family are friendly and welcoming. I had the ravioli which were delicious and my friend had the lasagne, which is unfortunately where it went all went wrong and stopped me from awarding 5 stars which is a shame. The lasagne looked lovely when it arrived but when my friend took a mouthful it was stone cold, un fact it was bordering on still frozen in the middle! The waitress apologised profusely and returned with a piping hot version, but surely this is a very basic error that should never have left the kitchen. To be fair they were very apologetic and offered us complimentary coffee but such a shame.

14/07/2025: This little restaurant is a gem. We had a nice long lunch in early July 2025. The food was fabulous. Extremely fresh creative salad. We also had a type of homemade pasta that was very different and terrific. The food was so good that we had desert, which we usually don't do for lunch. Both homemade desserts were also terrific. An added plus was that this restaurant is run by a very hard-working family with an interesting back story. Lastly, also our server (daughter of the owner I believe) had a big smile, and every request was met with "of course" and her great service to go with the great food.

07/12/2025: A surprise! Luckily, even though it was Saturday, we were able to book. We weren't familiar with this restaurant, but it surprised us with its attention to detail, despite its large seating capacity, the inventiveness of the dishes (the desserts were incredible!), and the attention to flavor combinations and plating. Very good value. We'll be back!

25/11/2025: Came here specifically because of the pictures of desserts. The food was really good and beautifully presented, and the dessert also delivered!

02/11/2025: Excellent chef in a welcoming, family-friendly atmosphere. Traditional local dishes and quality ingredients. Good wine selection. I've been several times and will definitely return. The service is also excellent.

08/11/2025: Excellent pizza and pizzeria. Simply the best pizzas we've ever eaten. We've tried quite a few in France and Italy, but this one is truly the best. The flavors of the ingredients are fresh and perfectly balanced. The chef is very friendly and readily explains the history of his pizza dough and answers all our questions. The waitress is also very friendly and speaks English for those who don't speak Italian, like us.

30/11/2025: Centrally located, the place has a familiar and comfortable atmosphere inside thanks to the location and the knowledgeable staff. Even though it was late November, the outside area is warm thanks to the "mushrooms," which underscores the care they give to their customers. The place offers a wide selection of wines and cocktails, but it doesn't stop there, offering hot and non-alcoholic drinks. The only downside is that the tables are too close together, which creates confusion and makes it a bit difficult to talk to the people sitting next to you. For what we ordered and spent (two glasses of wine with five mini bruschettas), it's almost obligatory to stop by!!! We'll definitely be back to try new things.

05/11/2025: We had the hot chocolate (I had it with whipped cream), which was excellent, artisanal, and worth a try... A unique place, a bit vintage but beautiful.

06/11/2025: I love Mexican cuisine, but finding a reliable place to enjoy it gluten-free is a challenge… until I discovered Messico e Nuvole in Sarzana! An almost entirely gluten-free menu, homemade dishes, amazing tortillas, creamy guacamole, and perfectly spicy salsa. All topped off with a warm welcome that makes you feel right at home. A special evening… and a place to return to soon (perhaps on an empty stomach)!

02/10/2025: Absolutely amazing experience! We had the selection of seafood appetizers and it was absolutely delicious, probably one of the best ever! Also seafood spaghetti and mix of fried seafood were perfect!

21/10/2025: Literally so good. My wife said we couldn’t go back for every meal and I am sad about that. Edit: My wife caved and we went back again 2 days later. The server remembered us. It was as delicious as it was the first time in like, a completely different way. First time I got the seafood spaghetti (so much seafood!!) and the second time I got the black stuffed ravioli with the red mullet sauce. It was very light, almost herby. My wife does not like (hates) seafood, but they ordered the stuffed mussels again as an appetizer because they loved it and didn’t make a face at trying my stuffed ravioli.

15/12/2025: Great place for a dinner with friends, fantastic pizzas, really hearty and with a great dough, stuffed mussels are a must try, delicious but above all the cloud with homemade lemon cream was a more than appreciated finale, the staff really kind and warm, I recommend coming!

15/12/2025: The welcome and delicious traditional cuisine are exceptional. Getting a Carrara native to appreciate Spezzina-style stuffed mussels is a miracle. Highly recommended!

21/09/2025: I went there on Saturday night, it's been a while since I've been there. Unlike before, I found that they've raised the prices, and the cold cuts for the panigacci were very poor. I don't think I'll go back.

01/09/2025: I went with friends. The atmosphere was quiet, the food was excellent, the service was excellent, and the price was right! Vegetarian friendly.
